No Kena is making me think that it's getting a significant delay because if it was coming out in the next two months then it would surely have turned up this week. Which makes me think that it was going to be September but with everything else releasing I think it's been pushed much further back.
@AdamNovice
I didn't realise it was meant to be out that soon.
I hope if it was going to end up in September they have delayed further back as you say - September/ October are going to be brutal and quite a few games will end up with much reduced sales, which would be unfortunate.
Top 3 on this list were solid and more exciting than anything Sony showed off.
well finally we get to see part 3 of final fantasy 7 and the confirmed rumored game of re:code veroncia remake is real and it looks amazing. but that also means if that remake is real then the next game up should be re:0 remake.
The only game I am hugely excited about here is RE (Code) Veronica. The 007 First light extras are nice.
Not a patch on the SoP - from which I wishlisted at least 6 games the next day.
@AdamNovice Maybe it appears in the next Direct considering Bridge of Spirits came to Switch 2 back in March?
I'm there for that newly announced Palworld update. I've been looking for a reason to get back into the game.
Still no Judas ðŸ˜
Stellar Blade: Blood Rain stole the show, in my opinion. So hyped!
@Grumblevolcano Sony are publishing the game so I'd be very surprised if that happened. Still it'll come when it's ready.
Naughty Dog skipping every game showcase like it's an optional assassin creed side quest.
Phew.
@matekomlosi i wasn't expecting them at the summer game fest tbh , i'm sure their focus is mostly on wolverine and once thats done you'll see more from the naughty dog game or just before that.
Guild Wars 3, cool.
RE, Gen Atlus, Cuphead, Alien, Control, and FF7 all day one for me. Next year is even bigger than this year.
@WolfyTn My most anticipated game as well. I hope we get something later this year.
@matekomlosi they ain’t got a dog in this fight
I feel like this had better announcements than State of Play. State of Play did have the God of War announcement but this show was better.
@Grumblevolcano
Not only Sony is publishing, but there was also PS Studios logo in announcement trailer, so I highly doubt it could be featured in Direct...
@Dman10 i thought they were both good shows , they had games i'm looking forward to playing on the ps5 pro. i just don't know how i'm going to fit all these games on the hard drive, i'll prob have to invest in another bigger external hard drive to store them on. also trying to find time to play them all as well lol.
5, maybe 6 games I’m very interested in. Great show!
Wonder when Valheim be released?
The only announcement that i'm really excited:
of all the keighley shows, this might have been one of the best he has ever hosted... and it was completely free of cringey sponsors and ad placements that litter the game awards shows. B+
gen ATLAS & Crossfire were top tier. Great show
Wow pretty good show. FF7R, Resident Evil, Stellar Blade are the big ones for me but lots of other stuff too. Tifa 👀 in SF6 and stuff like hot wheels could be fun too.
lots to be interested in
Saw Genesis could have been written off as another Dead By Daylight clone but with Bloober behind it I'm hopeful after SH2 and the mighty Cronos. Hell I don't even mind their older games so this could be top drawer.
Decent showing, great to see Wolf Among Us getting some love, can't wait for the second.
Interested in quite a bit here especially Star Wars, Gundam and Turtles! My god I am an 80's child
This morning I have been busy resticking my first DualSense and watching F1 so haven't had a chance to check it all out, but I DID catch the StellarBlade trailer earlier which I was very surprised to see. Didn't catch much other than it looked cool. With a date (or even, window) I might be more hyped, but it seems a lot further along than I expected, so that's fantastic!
Most of these look really good, much better than the SoP IMO.
THE LAST RONIN LOOKS INCREDIBLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well. It’s lovely to finally have so many events one by now. Rating SGF strong 8/10, with SoP following with 6/10 and now waiting to see what MS has to show. What I liked personally on SGF is diverse genre of games, you got 1st person games, 3rd person games, horror games, etc etc. Compared to Sony’s usual 3rd person games looking like every other game they release.. SGF was incredibly fresh and interesting to watch.
Some great looking have to look forward to. I might be in the minority but Alien Isolation 2 is my most anticipated game - more than GTA 6 even. Closely followed by Gen Atlas, Control Resonant, Crossfire, RE Veronica, Wolverine, Wolf Among Us 2 and maybe Dawnwalker... more for the neverending backlog. Oh to be young again.
Hands down, the Resident Evil: Code Veronica remake and Fumito Ueda's gen ATLAS were the absolute highlights for me. Absolute peak reveals. Also, even though we already knew about Blood Message, that new story trailer still looked incredible.
No mention of Forefront??? Still no VR helicopter/Apache gunship game haha
@AdamNovice Zero chance it releases in same quarter as you know who
