Whatever happens to them, happens from my point of view. I’m grateful for the amazing mass effect trilogy & being able to experience it again in one collection on PC, it was an amazing experience, so thank you (old) bioware, I’m content

i need ratchet to be cheaper than $30 personally since it’s not an entry im really fond of after how trash the remake was.

i dont think $ony games ever go on sale for dirt cheap though, maybe i’ll check cdkeys or something similar

@Bez87 i think that’s invalid since adults are the ones that make the games. i don’t think age has to do with critiquing whether a games legitimately good or not. plenty of games ive played as a kid that sucked & wasn’t able to put my finger on as to why until i got older & realized why

@VeldinX gaming was more niche and underground back then so games could get away with things, so even if there were some offended critics it wasn’t enough to matter unlike today

@Porco agreed. it’s diminishing returns on all facets now, basically. To the PS5s credit - it obviously does showcase its next gen capabilities over the ps4; but eh, as you’ve said, the element of surprise, game design & creativity is very low. games matter most.

@Porco id say 7th gen (ps3) was the golden era of gaming - i believe franchises hit their peaks that generation in terms of innovation & every following sequel is a rehash of the evolutions of that era. also , it was the sweet spot between having great single player and multiplayer games - no other console gen provided robust single player AND multiplayer games; games were also more complete and costed less, DLCs were actually an afterthought, online was free. think about it - we got TWO gta’s that gen, THREE mass effect games, THREE uncharteds, THREE arkham games, rockstar games actually released more that gen as well - midnight club & RDRD, LA Noir, also we had TWO Fallout games, and so many fighting games! nowadays we just have street fighter , tekken, and the upcoming tokkon.

i could go on, third party AAAs were dropping like candy and $ony exclusives were system sellers and were new IP. we had it made and didn’t realize it

it’s no ps1, ps2, ps3, or ps4. ps5 is proof that high sales don’t mean quality.

my hype is really low and i didn’t bother watching the trailer for the mere fact that it isn’t out until the end of next year. what an extremely long wait

@CWill97 you know they remastered GoW3 for ps4 right? or are you trying to play the series canonically? though i recommend holding off on GoW3 because of spoilers and how much improved it is over the first two - save the best for last kinda thing , haha

@Oram77 those are from players having high end GPUs with garbage CPUs and/or not enough ram, a lot of ppl still think you only need a high end graphics card to run games. Also using BL4 doesn’t hold much weight either - a franchise that’s had a history of releasing shoddy on all hardware to this day

@Oram77 The only pc players that complain about optimizations are those that don’t upgrade all the necessary parts and think that there ps4 era PC can still hang. my 2021 prebuilt PC still going strong & have had zero problems

the first & 3rd negatives are pretty major tbh. abrupt ending & bad enemy variety is rough

time for pro users to get a PC, lol. the grass is greener 😂

@PegasusActual93 each new game after 2013 just got worse , 2013 was very good and arguably the peak of the reboot. the multiplayer was also fun

story mode still should’ve been in this $70 game though.

@TheArt in my opinion, of course. the ps5 has the better hardware, sure. i’m talking about relative to their times the experience they provided. ps4 was more exciting & there’s still some things ps4 has (or had) that the ps5 doesn’t software wise.

also ps4 controllers didn’t drift nearly as much as driftsenses

@get2sammyb i’m indifferent towards guests , it’s called sonic racing , all-stars was intentionally a crossover series. sonic team/sega not producing a story mode in this game that introduces new OG characters is a missed opportunity and let down for a $70 game .

I never thought i’d like this game but the beta impressed me , i can’t wait for it to release.

the hoverboards, the maps, the drifting, and the roster sold me on it . still hope we get another riders game in the near future though
