@CielloArc split second is legendary , i’m rebuying it on ps3 soon digitally. i had it for 360 but sold a lot of my physical 360 games towards a ps4 💀

@Matthewnh I ain’t moving anywhere if what’s ahead sucks. I’m all for innovation & progression, but if there’s nothing ahead then i ain’t settling for less. this generation (IN MY OPINION) has been garbage. Time itself isn’t a good enough reason to “move on” ; give me something tangible like progression/improvement.

Also, the PS3 was an absolute powerhouse with untapped potential despite being fully backwards compatible across all previous generations - the only “hamstring” were people complaining about the price of such value, which is why consoles TODAY are hamstrung more than ever because of the price that consumers aren’t willing to spend for something more. It’s one of the reasons this generation has been mostly PC for me.

@SuntannedDuck2 awesome. the last two chapters are pretty long & the there’s a lot of collectibles so, fortunately , you still have ways to go! enjoy every minute of this awesome game.

also, i need to get split second , thanks for reminding me! i had it on 360 but sold it to gamestop like an idiot. It’s a true arcade racer (unlike forza & the crew) that is sorely missing these days

@ItsAlwaysSunnyyy The digital PS3 version of madness returns includes the original game; i personally didn’t enjoy it, but ONLY because it was just too outdated for me, & it’s clearly a direct port of the PC game, so the controls/movement is very awkward for a game controller. it also doesn’t help that i decided to play the first game after i played madness returns, so i didn’t make it pretty far either (literally still at the beginning, actually 😆).

nonetheless, i do wish i could have enjoyed the first game, because it does look really good for its time. As a matter of fact, both games have stood the test of time graphically - the atmosphere and artstyle of these games are freaking amazing

@ItsAlwaysSunnyyy hey, i recently beat alice madness returns and, dude, that game is a f****** masterpiece , i haven’t been wowed like that by a game in YEARS! This is why the ps3 was the best generation (imo)! it’s so messed up that the sequel to it was cancelled because of EA! 😢😢

I don’t care anymore, HD2 coming to Xbox is old news now, it’s great that it’s happening, but i’m super jaded about gaming news/corporate talk right now, because of no new (AAA) IPs that i’m interested in or revivals of dormant franchises

COD4 was 60fps on consoles way back in 2007

battlefield was always behind in framerate so no wonder this is news

Ps6 will lose to PC , M$ sees what the future looks like and conformed to the PC ecosystem; $ony still thinks the strength of console has the same merit. the PS5 by far and away is no PS1/2/3/4

@Magatsuhi i’m inclined to agree. Aside from Blazblue (which also died pretty fast) & DBFZ that was only fun for a couple months before major flaws became apparent, Arcsys really doesn’t make fun games, imo.

@LazyDaisy plenty of older people play fighting games, maybe it’s just a you thing and you prefer nintendo party games. the only grind you do in fighting games is simply get better, if that’s not for you then by all means enjoy casual games, but to want fighting games to be party games is a stretch

@PegasusActual93 i played it on PC too about 2 years ago. I don’t remember the gameplay being somewhat bad, it played fine to me.

nothing of value was lost. screw remakes, bioshock 1 is just fine and is the best one

this game’s only gotten better with age! i just beat this hidden gem & it’s amazing! we need more games like this now than ever!! it’s so underrated! 😭

i could see if twisted metal was an RPG, but come on.

great for fans of the tv series; absolutely depressing for fans of the games. I really want a new twisted metal game and knowing that a tv show is more relevant than the actual game that was cancelled really gets under my skin
