Re: 'We Were Forced to Change': Sony CEO Outlines Shift to Entertainment, and Says PS5 Must Be the Best Place to Play

@HonestHick i’m waiting for you to make the jump to PC. i’ve been trying to encourage you even before the price hike! i keep telling you that you’ll love it. your consoles ain’t going anywhere, mine are still here! 😂

also, putting the ps5 ahead of the ps4 is a bold move. i’m guessing it’s because of the controller?? anyway, long live the Xbox360! best console of all time! 💚🤍💚🤍

@HonestHick haha yeah..the ps3 controller wasn’t for everyone, i personally love it , but as i’ve said - the 360 was just so damn good when it didn’t RROD. I was fortunate enough to never have to deal with that, so i had no complaints with it , the ps3 on the flip side was just so slow & behind in what the 360 did better. I never had YLOD either, or did? like i said, i pretty much burnt my ps3, it was poorly ventilated, my ps5 recently burned too several months ago and i had to replace the motherboard 😂

also, i agree about the live service agenda. it was trash and partially why i say that the ps5 is by far the worst playstation

@Northern_munkey the reliability was fixed with the jasper model . sorry you had a tough 2 years but it was great the remaining six of that generation.

funnily enough my fat non BC ps3 broke when i played Sonic Unleashed on it. I can’t remember what the issue was, but what i do remember was a bright red screen with a bunch of chinese or japanese letters appearing until it completely shut off. maybe it overheated? i think it did, i remember it being pretty hot when i picked it up. anyway, i just got another fat ps3.

@LowDefAl ah s*** , i forgot about their cameras , especially in films. but even then, all that is absurdly expensive, so i still hardly (not entirely) see $ony electronics. Good catch

Their headphones must be selling well for industry use because I don’t really see those either. Meanwhile something like Windows is universal and commonplace + industry standard , i think even more so than mac - i think .

I thought that was pretty much widely known that playstation has been carrying $ony. I hardly see anyone with sony electronics. Kind of the same way Windows has been carrying M$ & handhelds have been carrying $***endo.

Whats in $ony’s favor though, is that playstation has generally been the de-facto place to play games (save for the PS3), so I guess it all works out for them in the end. Sony is Playstation, imo.

Re: Everyone's Talking About DriveClub Again, PS4's Underappreciated Racer

idk how dude can’t believe it’s a 12 year old game. I can’t believe there’s people out there that still don’t know that we’re at a point of diminishing returns, graphics peaked already & 2014 is really not old. like, does anyone really think that games from that era will ever be considered “retro”? no way

also, i never played driveclub, need for speed rivals was my jam; drive club looked boring to me

Re: '$1,000+ Consoles Could Become the Norm': PS6's Price Touted to Touch Four Figures

nomither6

nothing about a console is even close to being worth $1000

at all

Also, i bet the same ppl that are voting yes/maybe are the same ppl that criticized the early ps3 for being “too expensive” despite being worth the price and offering more as a console in its respective time period than any other console ever has. ppl called sony greedy despite each system being sold at a loss, meanwhile the ps5 and ps5 pro were overpriced from the get-go

Re: 'This Is Unsustainable Madness': Modern Video Game Budgets Are Out of Control

stop focusing on the cinematic bs and make a video game. $ony loves to splurge on gratuitous crap and it’s like they lose sight of what a good game is. it’s not the graphics, it’s not the camera angles for that perfect walking simulator shot, its not trying to write a script for a future netflix adaptation; it’s gameplay & the lore of the world with brief cutscenes. bring back the ps2/ps3 style games.

even mass effect, a game that has so much lore still never felt like a bloated interactive movie because a lot of it was told through gameplay including interacting with the selective conversations.
