Re: Hands On: Is the GTA Trilogy Really That Bad on PS5, PS4?

lordzand

@Setzer90 your comment speaks for itself. It's brainless because it's become mainstream. That's right you're a sheeple now.

People can have opinions. You should support that since you want to express yours. It seems to me like you're the one pushing cancel culture and also authoritarianism.

You don't get to decide what people say.

Re: The Elder Scrolls 6 Isn't Coming to PS5, But It's Not About 'Punishing Other Platforms'

lordzand

Late but this is bullcrap. I will not pay Microsoft a cent for this games. They can take their monthly subscriptions that means you don't really own the games all they want. And Sony can too. But it is unsustainable and a loss when you really look at it.

Just wait till game pass is a $1 for three months and play it on PC. How does that $1 pay for the games? I'm doesn't. Streaming services and gaming services aren't worried about profit as long as they can claim they have no subscribers to investors. It's a game they play where they pretend they don't know you made three accounts for trials. They say it's three new people.

Re: Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne HD Remaster (PS4) - A Cult Classic RPG that Deserves a Better Rebirth

lordzand

People whining about not getting Dante are missing the point that it was just a marketing gimmick in the first place.

I don't think it's greedy to sell a marketing gimmick but I do think you'd have to be stupid to buy it or complain about it really.

It doesn't effect the game in any way and you guys have no clue if they had to pay additional licensing to include Dante in much the same way that old TV shows have to relicense music for streaming or not use it all.

Of course, why bother doing any research or even bother to think when you can regurgitate the tired DLC bad forever party line.

Re: PS5 Redesign to Manufacture in 2022, Will Likely Only Alter Internals

lordzand

@Kidfried can you really say I wasn't worth the time to talk to when you just twisted whatever I said to fit your own narrative?

Saying something's overstated isn't the same as saying it doesn't happen at all. I don't know why that's hard for some to comprehend.

Pretending 8 in 10 have it when 1 in 10 do is overstating it. Using terms like "privilege" to describe something I paid for just highlights how misleading many are being.

Re: PS5 Redesign to Manufacture in 2022, Will Likely Only Alter Internals

lordzand

@Maverick85

You lost the moment you attempted to hold me having too much of a life to respond to your comments as a bad thing.

The other person did use the term "confront privilege'. I strongly support you learning reading comprehension.

Saying a problem is overstated doesn't mean it doesn't exist. It means it's not as big an issue as it was made out to be.

Perhaps you should learn the meaning of the word exaggeration instead of just living it.

Re: Poll: Is PlayStation Losing Ground to Xbox?

lordzand

I don't understand why one has to win and one has to lose.

People are aware that nothing dies in the console wars anymore right? There's more than enough profit to support three console makers and probably even more.

Re: Hands On: Maybe Don't Buy Disco Elysium on PS5 at Launch

lordzand

@Olmaz from what I understand it's a lot better. However I play this game on my laptop and not my PS4/PS5 because it's a CRPG so I can't say for certain. Sorry.

@theheadofabroom it may well be considered a digital magazine but it's still hosted on blogging software.

Re: PS Plus April 2021 PS5, PS4 Games Announced

lordzand

@rpg2000

Right I'm aware but I do appreciate you reminding me.

That's nice of Sony but you a lot of those games are VR only which requires another 400 dollar plus add on to play. It's cool that they're giving HZD away but its regularly 10 dollars top on sale, 20 regular and it's marketing for the upcoming game.

The thing about narratives is that they're constructed the way the person creating them wants them to be.

@themcnoisy see above. Also I was referring specifically to the PS plus games because that's what this article is about. The PS Plus collection requires a subscription to use. When they duplicate games that are available only with PS Plus that's an issue. PS now is at least a different service and fee so that's slightly more understandable.

Re: PS Plus April 2021 PS5, PS4 Games Announced

lordzand

@themcnoisy

It's not a giveaway. You literally have to pay them money each month for the free games.

I congratulate the media sites and marketing gurus who have redefined free to mean you pay for it monthly. They deserve an award.

Re: PS Plus April 2021 PS5, PS4 Games Announced

lordzand

@2cents what an immature response. You obviously go into the Sony is your best friend category. Go sympathize with a business more than a human. It's a sure sign of a healthy well adjusted adult with real relationships.

Also you don't know what the word entitled means. I didn't expect Sony to give me anything. I paid for plus and my consoles. Learn to use the word properly.

@thefourfoldroot You mentioned it in your response to me. You said the attitude was indicative of the current political climate.

Re: PS Plus April 2021 PS5, PS4 Games Announced

lordzand

@Alfieburns I've been here for quite a while and on NintendoLife for about two years. It's always been the way. I lurked a long time before joining too.

You have two types of people at both sites. The kind who defend Sony nonstop (though it's way worse with Nintendo) and the kind who don't. I find that more frustrating than "calling people names" personally. It kills conversation and goes nowhere.

There are maybe a handful of people who have more nuance than that here.

That and the people like @thefourfoldroot who agrees with me but felt the need to mention politics. It's nothing political so I'm not going even going to touch that except to say I'm sure we don't agree on that.

I pay Sony. Sony is not my friend. Generally speaking if a video company is your best friend, at that point maybe the people calling you names aren't the problem.

Re: PS Plus April 2021 PS5, PS4 Games Announced

lordzand

Another bad month. First they punish me for actually buying FFVII remake and then ask me for more money for extra dlc then they give out duplicate games. I'm aware part of that is on Square as usual.

To be clear, I don't care if I'm lucky to have a PS5. Sony does little to nothing to cater to us and gave us those free games as a door prize for having little to no exclusives and little to no third party support for the PS5.

If we want to complain about them giving us duplicate games every other month we definitely can. I'm sure your daddy Sony will be fine.

Re: Hogwarts Legacy Stupefied Until 2022 on PS5, PS4

lordzand

Oh no what will I do without what is likely another poorly done Harry Potter game?

But seriously delay until ready. Cyberpunk should have been delayed on everything because it was horrible on everything and half finished. People still blaming the PS4 like any version of that game worked properly.

I'm hopeful that this will be good.

Re: Reaction: How Does It Keep Going Wrong for Big Game Launches?

lordzand

It's because people identify with corporations easier than the people.

@SidNightwalker is the perfect example of this. He says that we should expect this and that it's consumers fault and then goes straight in a Nintendo PR line that doesn't exist in reality. Nintendo cares about quality that's why they started releasing limited time only digital versions of roms and plan to do start doing this regularly.

Almost everyone has a favorite corporation for some reason. It blows the mind honestly.

Re: Sony Removes Cyberpunk 2077 from PlayStation Store, Pledges Refunds for All PS Store Purchases

lordzand

@zekepliskin I never was rude to him. We disagreed but I didn't make fun of him like you did.

I also didn't conveniently suck up when I let my true feelings slip out. Yes you agree with him despite deleting where you said what he said was idiotic because it was "misattributed".

I'm glad you're finding me funny because I'm not even trying and it means you're use to low quality. I don't even find this entertaining honestly. It's not even quality trolling anymore. You must be with the CDPR trolling department. That would explain a lot.

Re: Sony Removes Cyberpunk 2077 from PlayStation Store, Pledges Refunds for All PS Store Purchases

lordzand

@zekepliskin do you know what abusive even means?

Someone disagreeing with you is abusive now? Pointing out your mistakes is abusive?

You straight up made fun of him. You didn't care enough to realize how different the writing styles were or that they were in two different areas despite copying them which no one else does.

It's just sloppy and sad at this point.

How will you ever live with me now? Wait you don't....so how am I abusive? It sounds like you need a safe space my friend.

Re: Sony Removes Cyberpunk 2077 from PlayStation Store, Pledges Refunds for All PS Store Purchases

lordzand

@zekepliskin one and then two. Don't forget you really ripped them apart too. Aww he saw it it's ok you don't need to change it now with some lame excuse. You also doubled down and told me I said them. This is the moral compass we should be following

And if you hate misattributed quotes maybe should you apologize to the person you forced them on?

Also I don't know who @Toypop is responding to either but if anyone decides to read this comment thread I hope they enjoy the antics of the Three Stooges.

Re: Sony Removes Cyberpunk 2077 from PlayStation Store, Pledges Refunds for All PS Store Purchases

lordzand

@Toypop I definitely agree with you about the game journalist. I would even say that they're not really acting as defenders of the consumers but attempting to calm things down and ride the middle as long as possible so they don't look culpable.

I've seen so many articles that misrepresent the way CDPR handled this in a positive way while completing ignoring any problems that I can't agree with part of what you said but I do agree they acted completely unethically.

I hope people don't forgot that either. They probably will though.

Re: Sony Removes Cyberpunk 2077 from PlayStation Store, Pledges Refunds for All PS Store Purchases

lordzand

@Toypop but you are white knighting. Maybe you don't intend to or mean to buy you are definitely white knighting the devs. You're not attacking them and no wants you to either but you're literally defending them non-stop and making excuses. You're also attacking other gamers which makes the least sense.

It's your choice what you want to support or not to support. I completely get that. I just don't understand why people have to defend them. They did something wrong. Even they apologized for it.

It just boggles my mind but it's your right and I support it. Doesn't mean I have to agree though.

@zekepliskin and you were wrong. He's not of my generation. Not that it matters but since you brought it up.

Re: Sony Removes Cyberpunk 2077 from PlayStation Store, Pledges Refunds for All PS Store Purchases

lordzand

@zekepliskin lecture lecture lecture.

You didn't respond to anything else because you know there's no point.

You're wrong. He's wrong. Not my job to know how old you or he are.

Not all games are buggy messes. Nice that you ignore that for semantics.

And no the reason I call people paid shills are when they find it easier to sympathize with a billion dollar corporation than other human beings like themselves. Now you know.

Also you're going to lecture me about age when you're the one who brought up in the first place? That's some new level trolling there. I didn't make that part of the conversation you did.

Re: Sony Removes Cyberpunk 2077 from PlayStation Store, Pledges Refunds for All PS Store Purchases

lordzand

@Toypop I didn't preorder.

No one knew about the rest of your stuff until after the embargo on reviews lifted well after the release of the actual game.

We were presented it as real footage.

I didn't expect a lot but you didn't even try. Why does it upset you so much that people got their money back and brought a lot of attention to what is a huge problem in the gaming world? I don't get it.

And for the record every game doesn't do that. I pre-ordered FFVII remake and Persona Royal and they worked fine. VII had a bit of texture pop in but no bugs or glitches. I'm willing to write Royal off as it's an update but Persona 5 also had no crashes and no problems.

Resident Evil 3? Pre-ordered and no crashes.

Re: Sony Removes Cyberpunk 2077 from PlayStation Store, Pledges Refunds for All PS Store Purchases

lordzand

@zekepliskin you guessed wrong considering I'm nearly 30. I'm guessing you're a shill paid or not given the way you comment on everything I say telling me how wrong I am and insulting me.

It's kind of sad.

Just to add you know how many clients would tell me, if I delivered a ***** project that didn't meet expectations, that it was their own fault, they expected too much, and they were going to give me the time to fix it? Absolutely none.

@Toypop Sony didn't. They did because it was a horrible game and it made them look bad. They also probably did it because CDPR had a marketing deal with Microsoft which it's still on Xbox.

You realize that our actions are more than likely what caused Sony to pull it in the first place? White knighting implies we were all ok with it and Sony just saved us without us asking. They didn't. People got denied and didn't give up.

I know that doesn't count because it doesn't fit your narrow agenda need to look down at us. This is being responsible for your actions. They have to be responsible for theirs too. I don't understand how people can say we all have to be responsible but a business can just do whatever.

Re: Cyberpunk 2077 Consistent Crashing Issue Still Not Fixed on PS5, PS4 After Patch 1.05

lordzand

@Emilebusinge yeah the city is large but there's little to do and so many decisions just baffle me. Like why for Sidegigs do I have to answer a call and then get a text message. Why can't it just be one or the other?

@zekepliskin says the person who's calling everyone who disagrees with him a troll. Funny how that works.

I'm sick of being told there's something wrong with enjoying the downfall of greedy companies or douchebags. There's not. They're getting why they deserve for attacking people who didn't like the game and saying they had no problems. Now they do. It's hilarious.

It's always nice when someone preaching politeness calls you ignorant and rude out of the side of their mouth. I've come to expect that from hypocrites though.

Re: Sony Removes Cyberpunk 2077 from PlayStation Store, Pledges Refunds for All PS Store Purchases

lordzand

@Toypop I've heard this line before.

The difference is no one has ever made those companies pay for it. CDPR is paying for it.

You can't play victim when you are the victim. And you can just say it happened before so let's just sit down and take it like good boys and girls.

Nothing changes unless you do something. You realize that right?

Also people didn't buy the game sight unseen and I didn't preoders. CDPR and the media both decided to feed people fake performance and lie through their teeth.

If we keep letting it happen guess what? It keeps happening. I'm glad people finally decided they had enough. I can't see how anyone but a developer or someone in the industry could be upset about this.

You're just being a defeatist and an apologist for a corporate practice that has gone for too long.

Re: Cyberpunk 2077 Consistent Crashing Issue Still Not Fixed on PS5, PS4 After Patch 1.05

lordzand

Hey at least you can take solace guys in the fact that a lot of the pc players who made fun of you can now not launch the game, are having saves deleted, seeing a 20 fps drop for no reason, and all sorts of fun stuff.

It's also disturbing to me that there are people in deep denial about the state of this game. I hope they're just paid trolls or something.

@jess3a3 don't know what you're on about. The coverage on here has been honest and balanced but most of the gaming media have been down on the knees for CDPR for the past week making excuses and acting like nothing's wrong. You must be reading something else.

Re: Poll: Did You Request a Cyberpunk 2077 Refund on PS5, PS4?

lordzand

Cyberpunk is GOTY.

Glitch of the year.

I bought it on PC and refunded it at 11 hours. So glad I didn't get it on my PRO God it was horrible enough on something more powerful. The new 1.05 patch is preventing people from playing, deleting inventories and dropping pc framerates. Don't know how it is on Sony.

Horrible game and horrible company. I'll have flashbacks to doing that Delamin quest under the bridge forever. Stupid ai makes civilians duck so they get shot, them police then teleport in all around you cuz bad programming then you die. Over and over again.

Re: Sony Removes Cyberpunk 2077 from PlayStation Store, Pledges Refunds for All PS Store Purchases

lordzand

@Toypop that's such an old fashioned way of thinking.

This is the new age. If you did you're one person, and there ways of giving people who don't pay money back just saying. All kinds of ways.

This is a company that did something wrong. They need to pay. You need to stop echoing the tired morality of a generation that spent years telling me that I don't know the meaning of money only know to tell me I think my money's worth too much.

Games are a product. If someone sold your toilet paper that made your ass bleed, no one would be saying well you should have known that toilet paper was bad.

It really boggles my mind.
