Re: PS4 Game Expiry Timer Sparks DRM Concerns, Here's What We Know So Far

@RockyOfficial Problem with that is a lot of more recent games are little more than a game key on a disc. Starfield for one, Crimson Desert another. Granted with the latter you get a pretty plush deluxe edition for the same price as Starfield but even so.
Capcom on the other hand have done us proud with both RE9 and Pragmata, both games would work fine from disc albeit maybe a few glitches here and there but nothing game breaking.

@AnginaPectoris I think the point being is that various games are released in a far worse state than this was at launch (Oblivion Remaster, Starfield etc) but somehow get a free pass. Those games were by western developers, this wasn't. Also the media hate train from various review sites also seems to follow this trend. I'm not saying all peeps have gone all korean KKK on Pearl Abyss but it does make you wonder...

@Boxmonkey Exactly, wish PUSH would do an article on how badly broken Starfield is after about 10 hours play. Hard resets required literally every five minutes. During 30 hours play on CD only had one crash, no other issues whatsoever. Well other than a few obtuse puzzles but that's all part of the crazy massive world that CD is. Peeps have a hard-on for hate with this game bit like the weird snowflakes now targeting Pragmata for the characters!
