Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 has been such a booming success that, yes, a film adaptation is in the works — and the voice of Gustave already has someone in mind to play the part.
Charlie Cox, who lent his voice acting talents to the character in the game, reckons Robert Pattinson is the right choice to play him in the movie — but he'd still like to do the vocal performance.
Speaking to GamesRadar at this year's BAFTA Games Awards, Cox responded to a question about revisiting Gustave in some capacity, to which he said he'd "love" to.

"My involvement with this, as minuscule as it was originally and how it's now expanded so much, has been nothing but an incredibly humbling and enjoyable experience," he says.
"So, yeah, absolutely, yeah. I was thinking that they should probably — if they make the movie — they should get Robert Pattinson to play the part, and I should do the voice. Because then they would have pretty much the exact Gustave from the game."
If Cox really did reprise his role as the voice of Gustave, he'd of course sound exactly as he does in the RPG — but he reckons Pattinson would be a great fit to portray the character on-camera. "I just think Gustave looks like Rob," he says.
To be fair, he does. When you see them side-by-side, Pattinson could definitely pull that off.
The film is no doubt in the early stages, so it'll be a while before any confirmations about casting or anything like that.
