Re: 'It's All a Bit Depressing': Just 13% Think PS5 Is Worth Its New Price

Sergo

@Gedrick Unfortunately, mate, they are not. I wish those were. PS5 is using DDR5 which went through the roof alone. AI projects are taking all of it. I agree that this should not be like that but the current AI craze totaly twisted things - economy wise, logic wise, everything. Look what happened to TVs.

Re: 'It's All a Bit Depressing': Just 13% Think PS5 Is Worth Its New Price

Sergo

@dskatter Well, is the truth attack ?
Yes, prices are high but not Sony's. The hardware they buy is with high prices. I used to be a PC gamer and I am happy I am not anymore. So, hating Sony is nonsense for me. They do all they can - remember last time when RAM jumped they forsaw this and were piling up stock and this held for maybe a year. But, they sell hardware that it is produced now.

Re: '$1,000+ Consoles Could Become the Norm': PS6's Price Touted to Touch Four Figures

Sergo

Oh come on.....enough already with this nonsense. For many years now a good gaming PC is many times more what it used to be and I do not see PC games jumping off bridges. Also, it is one tine buy in a 10 year generation life. Wtf.
Oh, yeah, and since this is the end of consoles, where people will go? To PC where only the GPU is that much.🤣🤣🤣. Come on, get real ffs

Re: Sony Announces Gigantic PS5 Price Increases, Effective from April 2026

Sergo

Come on guys...you act like Sony is the only one doing it. Everything is going up. EVERYTHING. So, why do you hate Sony? Also, thank the so "great and unbelievable" AI for the tech issues.
But, as history showed, Sony will continue to make lots of money. Remeber how everybody was sure that the price of PS5 was soo high and then the figures showed the opposite.

Re: Resident Evil Requiem Story DLC Confirmed, Bonus Mode in May

Guys, a bit help here. I am not good at aiming so I use the aim snap assist. But after the last update it is gone. It is in the menu along with aim follow but if those are turned on or off..nothing happens. The sensitivity of those I set to 10. Nothing. And I was playing with that so far. Does anyone has this issue? Can some one try and advise, please. I reinstalled it and even wihtout the update it is still like that. Very strange

Re: Opinion: The Euphoric Reaction to PS6's Rumoured Delay Really Confuses Me

Sergo

One thing that the author misses is that PS5 was launched during tough times and in some areas it felt like paper launch. Those consoles were so hard to get so the actual availabilty in the stores was maybe a year later.
Then comes the very late use of the hardware. I got mine in the begining but still after a year or so we got a proper PS5 game. So, the actual feel of a new console is much shorter.
And I will add and say that to me, mos devs were indeed lazy since we got the syste utilized in her mid life ... first half the only advnace was the SSD, but many had already done that on the PS4s.
In my deffence - you see how the Pro is utilized ... again it will be fully maybe just before the the 6 comes out. Yes, I know the pro is the test bed of the 6 but still...

Re: Sony Set to Delay PS6 Release Date, Claims Financial Report

Sergo

Honestly, where did it say that it will be delayed. This statement is just pulled out of thin air. This is not Intel that stayed like that and did nothing and suddenly, boom, you are out.
Of course, I also think that PS5 has so much room to go but this statement is just becuase they are doing good?

Re: God of War Ragnarok Adds PS5 Power Saver Mode in Latest Update, Available Now

Sergo

@twitchtvpat Yes, I know the "idea". It was supposed to be also for the Portal sinc it goes at 1080p max. But still, lower power modes always affect performance. Gamers always wnat better fps and better resolution and graphics and this is just the opposite of this power save mode. And also, the actual power saving is negligible (if any actually)

Re: PS5 Controller's Removable Battery Seemingly Debunked for Now

Sergo

@1970sGamer Not exactly mate. You are correct it is a standard but physics is physics. This is why on the charged USB-C is not used. I am not aiming here for an argument just advising.
If you plug the controller in a cable plugged in the PS5 or in a laptop it will charge on both places but the intensity and the "filling" of the battery will be different.

Re: PS5 Controller's Removable Battery Seemingly Debunked for Now

Sergo

OK, so, you will buy a controller with swappable batteries , then buy spare bateries....why dont you just buy another controller now .....
Also, it is best to get the original charger. I tested and via the USB-C the life of the battery is noticebly shorter than the charger. It is, of course, logical since the wattage is higher and the battery is better utilized. After 6 hours of Ghost of Yotei my controller is at 60% form full charge using the DualSense charger station.
