Well, even though I want 100 such games from them, I know that there is 90% chance that all will go to hell. Right now this stands as masterpiece series. Maybe best leave it like that and have it as benchmark for others to aim. Not ruin it's reputation.

That OK but as DF saw, there is little to no tech upgrade on the ps5. Not to mention the pro - absolutely nothing there.

One thing that the author misses is that PS5 was launched during tough times and in some areas it felt like paper launch. Those consoles were so hard to get so the actual availabilty in the stores was maybe a year later.
Then comes the very late use of the hardware. I got mine in the begining but still after a year or so we got a proper PS5 game. So, the actual feel of a new console is much shorter.
And I will add and say that to me, mos devs were indeed lazy since we got the syste utilized in her mid life ... first half the only advnace was the SSD, but many had already done that on the PS4s.
In my deffence - you see how the Pro is utilized ... again it will be fully maybe just before the the 6 comes out. Yes, I know the pro is the test bed of the 6 but still...

Well, for me 2027 was the soonest possible and meaning 2027 holiday season. Realisticly 2028. So, to me this seems like 1 year delay which is not that much. PS4 had 7 years so nothing out of the usual according to me.

Honestly, where did it say that it will be delayed. This statement is just pulled out of thin air. This is not Intel that stayed like that and did nothing and suddenly, boom, you are out.
Of course, I also think that PS5 has so much room to go but this statement is just becuase they are doing good?

@twitchtvpat Yes, I know the "idea". It was supposed to be also for the Portal sinc it goes at 1080p max. But still, lower power modes always affect performance. Gamers always wnat better fps and better resolution and graphics and this is just the opposite of this power save mode. And also, the actual power saving is negligible (if any actually)

Will there be a single user using this power saving crap?

It was absolute pleasure. It ran smooth as butter and it was gorgeous. The story was very nice and it had very good twist. Enjoyed every minute of it and will be happy to buy M2.

@1970sGamer Not exactly mate. You are correct it is a standard but physics is physics. This is why on the charged USB-C is not used. I am not aiming here for an argument just advising.
If you plug the controller in a cable plugged in the PS5 or in a laptop it will charge on both places but the intensity and the "filling" of the battery will be different.

OK, so, you will buy a controller with swappable batteries , then buy spare bateries....why dont you just buy another controller now .....
Also, it is best to get the original charger. I tested and via the USB-C the life of the battery is noticebly shorter than the charger. It is, of course, logical since the wattage is higher and the battery is better utilized. After 6 hours of Ghost of Yotei my controller is at 60% form full charge using the DualSense charger station.

If this feature is to save power for the upcomming PS6 handheld, wouldnt this be more appropriate to be active when you use the Portal??? the whole thing is such a mess and honestly, totally rubbish.

@themightyant Exactly !!! The more comprehensive comparisson would have been to match only games that have physical and digital releases.
Many articles are trying to dwarf the physical sales but things are very different. Also, those articles take only US, UK and couple more. For example in Eastern EU physical is king.

@Slideaway1983 No , not the graphics. It is so boroken. i mean the state in which it is, not to mention in which it was released. I am not fan but gave it a go .... damn, it was so choppy, so crazy NPCs, so many borken things that it immediately went ot the second hand market.

Damn, Cerni might be right at the end. PS5 Pro might indeed turn out to be the most powerful console

I enjoyed it a lot. Not sure what all this b****** is about cinematic, short and all this. It is great game with a great story. More then I can say of some of the latest AAAs. Money well spent.

So, PSSR is very bad. Everything flickers when on. Moving is a bit arcade. The guy just mives like the flash when you change directions. Needs more work.

Well, I will go with IGN review and + something on top. Awesome redemption after mafia 3. I love it. This one stays on the shelf, not reselling it. My oppinion is whoever is skipping it based on reviews and is fan of single players with good story is missing out big time.
