As for the game, I checked the DEMO, I expected it to be much harder ( not that it is easy) but I might check it out later in teh year. Before the DEMO I was 100% NO, but now I pinged it in the wishlist. I am supporter of the DEMO approach.
(turning the time machine on - how cant I be a fan of the demos since back in the 90's the only way to check on some games was DEMO CDs in the PC magazines . It was so cool though )

I am at Banishers now and loving it. No other game has made me want do all side quests as this one. Only 1 left so am sad. Next in line is Pacific drive so it seems i am going by the list of PS

Just the next example where you should not buy games day one. Just leave them get to discount period in time and bonus you will get patched and properly running game.

If it is VR, I will pass, but if it is a regular game, oh...day one for me.

I am almost done with Banishers and to me this is a great game. Not sure if there was another one that made me want to do all side quests - so interesting stories and intertwined. Realy GREAT game.

Then why are 99% of games rendering perf mode on 1440 or 1080 and again not fully 60p fps? If ps5 is enough then coders are to blame.

Like this is the only game in the world.... Honestly, what's the difference if comes out 2026 or even never come out? Others will.

One thing is to say there will be such in a game which you are going to publish, but this is whole other level ... deleted from wishlist and 100% not buying it. ( BTW due to PS store rules, since you downloaded and played you can not ask for refund ... this for me is total deceiving marketing which is punished by law. )

@DeathlySW You just said what i thought. Lazy devs will hide behind that tech. But imagine how lazier they will get... kind of a spiral (hope i am wrong).

Sounds good, I have it pre-ordered, but just started Banishers, so I hope some patches land till I get to it.

I would jump on board so I can get steady 60 fps on 4K. But some better coding will be needed too and not again rely on the hardware only. We have good examples what can be achieved with some proper coding.

When I hear live services i know it means cash before all...no thanks.

Simple logic - MS, that is on the stock exchange, will hide such profitable business plan and not use it to increase its stock value ... yeah, right. They hide it because it was a bad idea and Sony did great to look at their game and go by their plan which has proven itself for many years.

Well, personaly, I have games that I wait for and not neccessarily the AAA mark, but still same will of playing them. For example Banishers (just came in hot in the mail ) and Pacific Drive. I did not even considered Spider man. So, just some games can not define the whole portfolio. I am sure some REALY good games will pop-up during the year.

And this is how you loose potential 10 from selling it early. My theory continues to prove itself - alway buy games several months later. It will pay off in smoother experience...and maybe some discount.

Only Hellblade, Indie and Wolverine...we already have forza horizon copy... not much else for me there.
However, some of those are already at PS. Did I miss the point in the question?

I wish all those remakea and such be done with. It would be much better all this time to be spent in new games. Never new why people are hyped for smth old in a fancy dress...

For me the current one is more than enough, but it never froped so fast a 3 hours ... that must be a game with constant vibrations. Also, it very much depends if the vibrations are set to Heavy, med or low (not sure the exact wording). This plays a big part.
But as for how they did it - well, you know that AAA batter from IKEA and Duracell are same form factor, but last diffrently So, they improved smth.
But it is very cool that it is a bundle - most people have one controller, and with that you get second and the station has 2 slots. Cool.

And Hogwarts legacy wasn't nominated for a single award at the game awards. This is indeed WTF situation. The most sellling game of the year did not get nominated for anything. OBviously the gamers do not understand sh*t about games It deserved a couple of trophies there.

Yes, they should not have delayed it. However, it does not matter to me. This will be the first one to get in 2024 just will wait for some review to make sure. But it is 99% sure. Till then I need to finish Jedi Fallen order (yes, shame on me that i am now discovering this game) and i got in ps plus Wild west which i will give a shot to.

Well, i am with Sony on this one. Why they are at fault for not allowing other controllers. Why would they do it. They created their product - console with controller. You do not like it, use smth else. Next step is Merc will be at fault that i cant put bmw engine in it. WTF....
