Unfortunately it screws over those of us who already have PS Now. Not much point if they’re going to be putting them on Plus anyway.
Looking forward to trying SFV’s storymode but couldn’t care less about PUBG. If I where to play a BR game it would be fallguys and if it had to be traditional BR I’d go with fortnite.
I would rather play Barbies Shopping simulator than either of these
Both already available on PS Now. What the *****, Sony?
Maybe will try SFV. It’s been a long time since I played a SF game so perhaps it’ll scratch an itch I didn’t know I had. Probably not.
I'm dropping Now when my sub is up in a week. Having the same games pop up on both services is a waste of money, and I'm a little dumbfounded at how they don't see that.
For fans that actually have Plus and Now this is a huge middle finger and disrespect. Worst selection ever. At least pick one indie game and a "now" game, not both of them from psnow...
@Deadhunter I cancelled mine last week for exactly that reason
Not every country has access to PS Now, just saying. I am really looking forward to try Street Fighter V.
PS+ whiners drive me insane anyone with a brain cell knows you get huge value out of plus every 12 months!!! but still, they pop up bores me to hell.
Meh, I don't really care.
Still have way too many games at this point so a "bad" month for most is just a meh to me.
@David187 completely agree, bring on the mass of self entitled cry babies who "hate" Sony because they give them free games they've already played. Boo freaking hoo. Don't like it, lemme show you the door 😊
I for one am happy. We need more SFV players on the servers. Especially newbies, as those who still play online are mostly hardcore fighters that are difficult to defeat.
@gollumb82 Thats why I don't play online. ☺️
You heard @Spoonman-2 , folks, and so has Sony. Don't be too surprised on September 30.😆
Street Fighter V is a good fighting game but realistically you're going to want the Championship upgrade anyway. As for Pubg, does anyone care about this game anymore?
@djlard
I hear you. I don't play online much as well. Tried CoD MW but got slaughtered most of the time. I do find the multiplayer in SFV fun, even when I lose. It's just so much more thrilling trying to outsmart the other fighter (compared to playing against the CPU). Especially when you succeed
big fan of capcom but not a fan of fighter games. played the other on games pass and hated it battle royale games are not my cuppa tea ether
I haven't played a Street Fighter since SF II Turbo on my SNES so might give it a go.
@Teej13 free games you say, so I get to keep these games forever? Also my mate cannot seem to download them, he doesn’t have Plus but that’s fine right as these are ‘free’? Any ideas?
@David187 Yes, some people always whine and they won’t be pleased, however, not all of us are in that boat.
I would have been happy with these games if I didn’t have them both on PS Now.
They are both available on that service and I’m paying Sony for both, so why duplicate? I’d have been fine if only one was on Now or if they gave us some bonus content or something, but they didn’t.
We are paying customers who are investing into the company. So it is hard to not feel short changed on this occasion.
Yes, PS Plus is great value, and it is the luck of the draw as to whether you own the games or like the games, but it doesn’t meant Sony haven’t cocked this one up or screwed over one of their customer bases, which they have on this occasion.
Honestly SF V is a really good fun game, I bought it on disc at launch, so im looking forward to replacing it with a digital version, PUBG I dont care about at all, tbh I thought it was free already as its a Battle Royale
Not spectacular but it's okay, I own neither, will at least try player unknown
Better than last month, but still not very good.
Don't get me wrong, I love a bit of street fighter, but let's be honest V is pretty gross with all the in game ads when it's loading and the characters locked behind a grind or pay-wall. As for pubg, well... meh 🤷
I really don't wanna hate on Pubg, but there are objectively far better BR games out there and we all know that! I'll try SFV though, haven't played a fighting game in years!
Crap selection. This will be the first month in awhile that I dont even add either title to my library. Btw you gotta love Sony double dipping with PSNow. Probably didn't cost them much of nothing to add these to Plus with them already being on PSNow. This is a prime reason I didn't resub to PSNow once mine was up.
Probably won't download either, which is fine as I have many many more hours to go in Pathfinder:Kingmaker.
Rubbish selection! I'll give Street Fighter a go but can't see me playing it after that
I don't even have a ps plus. I only renew my subscription when I want to play with friends. Other than that i'm sticking with ps now only
First of all, not every country has PS Now, and i think majority doesn't have PS Now, if their country has it. second of all, you pay 60 a year for Online Services and 24+ free games every year, sometimes being pretty big AAA games. Someone want to explain to me how 1 bad month means the whole PS+ Service is trash and bad of value?
@raven11229 I don't think it is, I'm not sure who (if anyone) has said it is. Still if people don't like the selection they will say so and while I don't have ps now, if I did I'd be angry about it too.
Now I'm not particularly interested in either game this month but that doesn't bother me, I've enjoyed some of the games this year. However the thing that annoys me is that I MUST have ps plus if I want to play with friends and that's a giant piss take.
So what with Sony finally looking like they are going to open up their first party games to PC's I'm going to factor in the cost of another 6 or 7 years of plus added to the cost of the ps5 when deciding whether to buy a ps5 or build a pc.
It's weird the people that take offense to PS+ criticism. Often times the games suck (like this month) and most of us, having paid for the year because they've made that the cheapest option, have little recourse but to complain a little. Like, why get so defensive about it? It's baffling.
Neither of them are games that I'm particularly bothered about playing to be honest.
And no, not every country has PS Now and not everyone who can subscribe to Now does. But the point still stands that anybody subscribing to Now almost definitely subscribes to Plus also. Those seem like loyal PS customers yet that loyalty is being neglected, nay, penalized even, when Sony pulls this double dipping crap. I don't even have PS Now and I think it's crazy that they do this.
@Bliquid The video talks about how to unlock the extra characters or that you can buy them so it seems pretty certain to be the base game
Not interested in PUBG, or really any batlle royales. Have had SFV since launch day.
@dr_lovejoy Hey, Doc. I agree with the sentiment, but you know I gotta hold my corner here... If your friend subscribes to PS plus he/she will be able to benefit from playing online with friends and make the most of an online storage cloud! The online servers require maintainence, hence the cost... Whilst they are a subscriber of this service, they will be able to access free games given every month! Hope that answers your question!
@gollumb82 I've tried multiplayer MK XL a few months ago, but it was like playing against cheat bot. In Tekken 7 I didn't even finished story final boss (that Casanova or Gramatica or whatever it is called...). But when I played SF IV on ps3 I remember it was fun. Hope it continue to be fun and looking forward my favorite Blanka, E Honda and Dhallsim. ☺️
@Teej13 @David187 The problem I have with PS+ is that the value has constantly gone down, while the price and the number of users has gone up.
Before the PS4 : online was free, so PS+ wasn't needed, it was just a luxury item, a premium to get "free" games every month
When the PS4 came : online got behind a paywall, but we would get 6 games (for those with a PS3, a PS4 and a Vita, it was a boon!) And with cross-buy, we would get 3-5 games to play on PS4 every month, very diverse (from small indies to AAA)
Now : online still behind a paywall, only 2 games each month, and a even higher price
The only thing that stayed consistent is the exclusive discounts, and even those are not that often incredible for PS+ users.
That is why I get mad sometimes, because I see the service I'm paying for more and more getting worse and worse.
@Spoonman-2 Or enjoy real life? Nope, that's a horrible idea, sorry for my suggestion, I'd rather play videogames. And I agree, both games totally suck.
@Rhaoulos
I was just being silly, sure I get my moneys worth out of PS+
Fall Guys Level 40, so many hours thrown into that whilst I can’t work
I don't understand how people figure Sony is giving me anything for free here. I pay for this each month. I can complain about it all I want.
They aren't bad games but im hoping for red dead redemption 2 or assetto corsa or something
@raven11229 I tell you my story. I don't play multiplayer (any of kind except maybe 3 fights in some fighting game) and pay for PS+ just to have random monthly games and sometimes hit pretty descent discount on some games or add-ons.
Compared to last year, there were at least 3 free games and i grabbed about 25 games out of 36+.
This year, I grabbed about hardly 5 games and we are turning last guarter of year, ok around third of them I already own, so without them I would grab around 11 games, and that is that disbalance I am complaining about...
Know that in my country is PS NOW unavailable, but I'm not interested anyway in it.
@Olmaz I couldn't agree more. I hadn't looked at it like that. I'd love to think it's inevitable that prices will rise, same with everything, but when you read it like that it does seem like a disservice. I'm a glass half full kinda guy, some games I've got seemed rubbish and ended up being faves of mine so I'm happy to try a bit of everything.... Apart from Farm Simulator... That was a kick
Rubbish month for me. Not interested in either. Was thinking of getting PSNow, but seeing the comments not going to bother.
But I'm still playing Fall Guys from last month so it's all ok. You can't 'win' every month 😁
You want GaaS everyone?
Hot stinking GaaS?
So much GaaS it gives a warm feeling in your trousers. With lumps.
Think i'll be too busy enjoying Tony Hawks this month to be honest
PS Now to get NBA 2K20 & Rise of the Tomb Raider in September too?
@djlard IKR? Online fighters are no fun anymore. It's nothing but a bunch of wannabe pro gamers and streamers who obsessively play until they can juggle you the entire match.
Honestly could care less wither way.
What does bother me are the entitled brats crying and whining that the games are crap. I mean you have to remember Sony is running a business not a charity, they don't owe you ANYTHING and HAVE TO give you anything. Be quiet and be grateful for what you do get.
Seems like they should just blend now and plus into one service. Instead of having a month to "get" the games, just add the games on the list of available games. Of course killing off a service means less money. But I think this unified service would be stronger than both being separate.
Sony had one job: 2 games that are good and justify part of the PS+ subscription but this is just pitiful. An outdated game from a dry genre and SF5. I'm not playing PUBG and I hate SF and Mortal kombat style games so I'm not getting that either. You could of thrown anything else in and I would say that its fine.
@darkswabber I'm almost tempted to give fortnite a go.... just for the She-hulk skin!
@raven11229 The problem is the sheer number of bad games we've gotten this year. I mean during lockdown we got City skylines, last month (august) we got a campaign from 10 years ago now we are getting a crappy BR game (PUBG).
It's not that the value is bad it's the fact that they are not going for the high score in terms of games but going
"oh that's been on sale for the past few months and no-one is buying that so we should make that free" or "oh that's got meh reviews we should ditch that"
Before city skylines became free I saw it on sale and it's dlc in december 2019, sims was with it. Now PUBG which was and still is buggy and has been on sale a lot before now. I don't have PS now available to me because I'm in New Zealand so I'm kind of relying on the PS+ games for something new that I might like and right now when it comes to next gen I'm going to ditch PS for Xbox since PS are not giving me confidence or making me satisfied in my purchases. At least Xbox has a subscription that's available in my country but even Sony can't do that.
Street Fighter V is a great game for those that haven't tried it yet.
I can't really complain about them to be honest, and I say that as someone who rarely even plays the games they give us. The discounts offered by the service are the real benefit to subscribing, the free games are cool but I usually buy what I actually want to play, and those games rarely are put on PS Plus.
I don't care when there is a a few months I do not care for. In fact I expect it to happen half the time. There are others that will enjoy this month.
To be honest none of the plus games have been good this year except for February. I hate sports games, online only game, visual novels and walking simulators and i hope no more of those games come to plus. I'm not expecting them to give out new aaa games on plus but they could be giving us better games. Most months I have either played or owned before and don't care to play again or garbage games that I could care less to play. Hopefully the plus games start in the future. There is nothing I would spend the money on to buy if they weren't included with plus.
Reading some of the comments here makes me think I havent really missed anything since I let my sub lapse in 2018. Was going to re sub in sep so I could play nioh which was the last game I think I got, but the complete edition was on sale so I just bought that. I already own SFV too so if thats the basic edition I guess I'll wait until a month comes along with like death stranding offered or something to play the other games I got through it which will probably be years into the next gen.
Crap selection. Games are all rentals. Also haven't had PS+ for 1 1/2 years.
SF V is a great game, but I already own it, and PUBG, I don't care.
Not a fan of either of the games, and for the first time I wouldn't be bothered even "purchasing" it.
But I still think some people will find it as per their liking. Just not my month
@Teej13 you know people have ps now right? So stfu its a slap in the face for people who have ps now
Both games have very specific markets and i think that's why the rest of ps+ subscribers who are not happen to be part of those markets can be easily irritated.
Unlike when you put more broadly accepted games, like... say, horizon zero dawn, god of war, or spider-man. Those games can be easily accepted by more people, and less people will get irritated by those awesome titles.
Don't get me wrong, some people will always get irritated (WE ALREADY HAVE THOSE GAME WTF SONY), that's just the way our world works now, but i imagine the numbers would be way less.
Already own SFV: CE and have zero interest in PUBG
The games are getting worse, Xbox is looking better at the minute, they’re making it easy for me to pick my next console, we pay a lot of money for ps plus and we’re getting nothing for being loyal!
I mean these games are okay but why do our cries for knack 2 fall on deaf ears?
@Saitama117 @djlard
Just to echo your sentiment: I hate playing fighting games against guys who juggle you the entire round or finish you off with one 30-40 hit combo. Not hating, but matchmaking in these games could use some balance. Either that or the option to play only against lower level opponents.
No another month of when these games are on Now and if you paid bought both it's a screw you scenario. There's load of game they could try to put out but they don't seem to care what goes out anymore, the way Sony is acting it's like the PS3 all over again smug and ignorant.
It's like in a meeting it goes like this....
Sony rep: "item #6 on the list pick 2 games for sept free stuff",
Sony director of gaming (not Kevin butler: "oh just slap whatever we put out on now again they won't notice"
It bothers me a tiny bit too that both games are already on Now, but I'll get over it if it doesn't become a standard. Either way, both games are not my cup of tea. I really don't like BR or fighting games. I'm still going to download them though, as a matter of fact I've already downloaded SFV because my daughter is into fighting games. I mean, maybe I'll change my mind in the future and they might disappear from Now.
It is 3 months in a row of ***** selection for this guy though. XD
@David187
Right, 70 bucks a year (CAD) to play a game I just spent $79.99 for on a system I payed over $600 for. And to BORROW a couple of games a month. You are a toxic consumer man. You don't know what value or quality is. They haven't done a damn thing to improve the network or anything with the money we spend on ➕. It's pure profits. Stop defending billionaires that don't give AF about you.
They really shouldn't have them both on PS Now and PS Plus aonth apart (in the case of Street Fighter)
@Saitama117 what is IKR?
Multiplayer was always pain in the a$$ for me. Since Starcraft, where whole army attacked my base 1 minute in game, when I just finished building barracks. I is always speed hell...
Nope i hate BR games especially one as outdated as PUBG which i thought was f2p anyway so now im even more pissed they charge £20+ for a BR game with micro transactions.
SFV i like fighting games but i grow tired of them very fast i always have since SF2t as a kid i degenerate into button mashing after a while as it gets harder lol, just a problem I've always had, i dont know why they cant do a MP game and a single player every week.
Give us a FF game the X&X-2 pack please.
Starting wonder if they will just roll PS now into PS+ for PS5 i think its better than just a possible crap free game every month
Bloody hell there are some cry babies on this site. I thought that was only the Twitter babies.
So what if it’s on Now and PS+ it’s one month where you don’t play the FREE games. It’s not like there isn’t 100s of games to play already. Instead of crying about it why don’t you just cancel your sub and shut the f**k up like an adult. Bloody entitled children.
@darkswabber I don't even like Fortnite that much but even I can see that the game is a lot more stable and more appealing. I mean seriously, PUBG came out several years ago and it's STILL a buggy, lag-ridden mess to this day. And they're trying to hype it up. Don't make me laugh.
Love the fact a lot people are saying stfu to some unhappy peeps, calling them kids etc. They are probably the kids who's parents pay their PS+/now when your an adult with BILLS and you go 3 months paying something with nothing in return or even duplicates you'll get angry.
Saying about the discount too, have you been out recently?
PS store games are usually dearer than in shops for a physical copy, most games in GAME UK, are 50-55 the same games on digital are 55-60?
Cutting out the middle man AND disc printing cost AND charging more?
This is why I'll never go digital until its mandatory, plus i get to trade in a game I'm probably never going to play again to get my next game for EVEN CHEAPER
@TheAnnoyingFan i didn't even know pubg wasn't f2p like most other BR games anyway so charging for a micro transaction laden game already in its genre is stupid
Rubbish anyway.
Game ur not my cup and yeah, wtf Sony? I pay 9.99 monthly and year subscribe 60 €, thats not much though and many games to play but 2 games what free with now anyway.. Thats a place where to think..
Now i hate - i love so much rocket league. Maybe i move that on pc and stop paying Sony double. Thats not the first time too though. Maybe sometimes one game what match and once a year but 2 games, thats like who have both just robbing money.
Sure, I didn't buy them yet or would have bought them, so ideal games to get for free.
Crap games yet again and no they are not free I know I pay 60 quid a year for this crap.
I guess I’ll play street fighter but I’m excited to play Marvel’s Avengers and Tony Hawks 1+2 so I don’t really care about the upcoming ps plus games and I’ll be get mafia at the end of September. I have a Busy months ahead
@Banehatsu You know these are optional subscriptions, right? I mean, you could always.... I dunno... Cancel ps plus if you're not happy with it? But we won't do that, we'll keep paying and keep complaining... Then we'll get the ps5 and spend the next 5 years complaining they're not doing it right whilst we keep paying them...i can understand the frustration that PS now has one of the ps plus games... But I don't have ps now, so this is a win for me.
@Teej13 how is this a win for you? You know no ps plus means no multiplayer
@David187 No need to make sense. Just be offended, as one completely and totally should every month.
Next Poll. Should PS Plus and PS Now be integrated into one service with a $9.99/month fee?
Yes
No
Maybe
F#% that
What’s PS Now?
Feel like Sony kinda missed the mark on this one. These are very heavily niche for highly competitive players. Street fighter has become a slurry mix of precision combos that lock opponents in substantial beat downs, and without constant practice most players won’t hold up in online match’s ranked or casual. PUBG on the other hand being the MAC daddy of all battle royal, feels like a stripped and clipped version of MAG without all the chaos of 127 teammates shoulder to shoulder hurling grenades into the unknown hoping to drag the poor sob at the objective people are bum rushing. I was just hoping for something a bit more substantial that isn’t going to inspire a broken-controller-against-the-wall rage quit fest.
@Banehatsu I have ps plus, just not PS Now. So it's a win cos I get SFV and Pub G. The way I see it is I pay £20 every 3 months to be able to play online and for Online Save data storage... The games are a nice bonus.
Ik but this is so unfair to the people who have ps now yes ik we are going to complain when ps 5 launches but just cause its a win for you does not mean its a win for every one its just unfair
I feel bad for you because ps now games are really good so yeah
@Mr_Low_Key you sound like a moron
Let us get soul caliber 6 instead os sfv and ukpg is so crapvon the ps4 give us a game like grand tarismo
@Spoonman-2, open world map, cruising the streets in a pink corvette convertible..?
@dr_lovejoy wow you are dumb
People arguing PS now customers are being f'd over, need to realise there are SO many more customers on PS Plus than PS Now. I for one am extremely happy about SFV but couldn't care less about PUBG. PS now has a such a large variety of games with more being added all the time. Of course there's gonna be overlap, why be mad. You get what you're paying for on both lmfao
I have had PSPlus since 2012 and have learned to take the good with the bad, but this is very frustrating. I bought a years sub of PSNow last month after talking with a friend about how the PS4 game downloads makes it pretty much a Tier 2 PSPlus (i.e. pay $60 a year for 2 games a month or $120 for multiple games). I don't see them as free games because as long as I am a paying member of both services I have a license for the games just like if I "bought" them on PSN. If I renew every year the game stays on my HDD the same way "buying" (securing the license) does.
Since digital games aren't really owned by the consumer, the least Sony could do is provide some interesting titles NOT available on both services! Unreal...
@Spoonman-2 that's disturbing.
@zupertramp - ps+ costs, literally, pennies a day - why would anyone waste time complaining about it. i think it's a waste of time to complain about a service that is so cheap to begin with.
@JRSIV 60 dollars? i pay in the 28-32 dollar range for 1 year ps+ codes from CDKEYS. they're currently offering a 1 year code for 31.89.
@sonicmeerkat - because the only people mentioning knack2 are trolls trying to be funny.
@quiomar01 - no. i have zero interest in psnow. why should i be forced to pay 10 dollars a month for something i don't want?
Your giving us a free game and an old one really psn dick Turpin had the decency to wear a mask
@eddie429 it's about value, not total cost. And you can break up the cost of anything into pennies per x, but it doesn't actually make the total you spend any less.
Also it's an article literally asking people's opinions on the games where, if I'm getting this right, using one's time to complain is a waste but using one's time to respond to those complaining is totally sensible?
@eddie429 I bought my PSNow sub for $49 on CDKeys and the PSPlus on some holiday sale; that's not necessarily the point. It wouldn't change a thing I said if the nut for both services was $90 a year for both. There are people who pay the PSN $60 prices all day long not aware of third party discount online services, which aren't foolproof by the way. There's a 25% off sale on both services on PSN as we speak. It's what @zupertramp is trying to say: this is a question of value, and to put both games of a PSPlus month out already available on PSNow is just not valuable to the consumer and will definitely make me and I'm sure others rethink renewing both simultaneously ever again.
I might play PUBG because my friend Aisaka Megumi is partner with PUBG Japan & PUBG Mobile, she plays on PC alot but i dont have PC, i am on PSN though, currently enjoying Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 ☺
My personal opinion is this is a middling month. I don't own either game and won't be downloading these. No offense to PUBG or SFV - my backlog is literally hundreds of games deep at this point, just not enough time unfortunately.
Also, I think PS+ is still a good value, for most people. The recent releases seem to favor multiplayer-centric games (which aren't my cup of tea) but the overall quantity of games is still decent for the price, even if that only translates to maybe 5 or 6 games I'm really interested in over a year's time. Also worth noting you can get annual PS+ subscriptions for much less than the $60 asking price with just a little forethought and research. You shouldn't be paying more than $45 for a year if you put any effort into looking for a deal.
All that being said... PS+ is starting to bother me. Yes it is a "decent" value, to me. But only just barely at this point. I have been a consistent subscriber since the service launched in 2010 when nobody even knew what the hell PS+ really was aiming for back then. But let me tell you - there was a smorgasbord of games released monthly - PS1 and PS2 classics, PSP and Vita games, and of course PS3 games too which hit a nice balance between AAA and indie. More than just the 6 games everyone is talking about here.
Admittedly those days were too good to last and it probably wasn't sustainable to have 20-ish (!) games downloadable from the PS+ page of the PSN store at a given time. No joke.
The worry for me is PS+ has been pared down time after time in the last ten years as others have mentioned, with consistently less value on offer. First, less games (down to 6 - 2 for each major platform). Then later, even less games (2 Vita games each month were dropped). Finally, they dropped the games down to 2 a month recently after PS3 got the axe. Some guessed they were going for quality over quantity and the games offered would improve and be curated with a more watchful eye. That never happened in my mind - in fact quite the opposite as they started putting out older and older games with an increasingly questionable value proposition.
PS+ is still a decent value and I'll still subscribe. But just one more step backward and I will cancel. And I figure I'm not alone. A lot of more casual gamers that don't play online or online-phobic gamers such as myself will make the same judgement call if the value declines any further. They've pushed their luck and so far it has worked for them - they have record subscribers - but they've reached critical mass in my opinion and any more pushing will snap my goodwill and many others I imagine.
I'm happy for getting Street Fighter V for PS Plus. I've been wanting to get that game but never did because I always had other games in my back log to play. As for PUBG, I'm disappointed. I actually bought that game and played it and I thought it was horrible, honestly Apex Legends and Fortnite is better than PUBG. SO.... i can say that I'm only happy for SFV but not for PUBG
I have to Buy this Ps+ membership bcoz Of playing Multiplayer in warzone and extra Storage only. I got screwed when I knew that you are giving discount in old Crap games. Your Selection of games is bad. Its better that there should be a Poll of Games that we can vote. Add Assassin Creed or Call of duty games or any other new games.
Seems the results indicate that most people aren't happy with these games. I already own Street Fighter V on PC, and I honestly couldn't care about the multiplayer aspect. PUBG? In my opinion, battle royale games are just a waste of time.
@darkswabber Don't expect much. I really don't understand why casuals refuse to look at Fighting Games for what they are. They're really a rewarding experience you can share with various types of people.
You just need the friends that are willing to take you to the next level. Don't you guys want to be more than just mashing buttons with no intent on controlling these actions, picking the sweetest moments? Learning how to actually do special moves?
It's really sad that they've compromised this game for the hardcore crowd to garner attention from newcomers but it the end it doesn't matter. Fighting games are a discipline, like anything else in life. The fun is the bursts of knowledge you gain. The journey, not the destination. Like that for a lot of us who play these games.
@PretendWorking 95% huh..well do a little research..the USA, Germany and Japan account for over 75% of ps4 units sold..and guess what..we all have access to psnow..sony has been double dipping from psnow titles this whole year..go ahead and look it up. This is just like when they gave farm sim 19 and cities skyline..both are on psnow..sony has been screwing over its MAJOR markets. So you think it makes good business sense to screw over the people who actually buy and use their services?..let's not mention the poll results..20% are happy..while 56% straight said this month is trash. Side note 2020 is the only year where sony decided to start double dipping and it took until September for the majority of the gaming community to catch on..hence why so many comments are complaining about the "free" games being on both services.
@darkswabber why do so many people call fallguys a BR when it's not even close to one
@lordzand you're paying less than the games value
@TheRogueScotsman you mean like I would during a sale? I guess any game I buy at a discount is free now?
Edit: and with plus I only have access while I subscribe. I pay for the games and access to them.
It stinks when both titles in a month cater to same audience. I don't play multi player fighting games, so September is a wasted month for me. 2nd or 3rd time this year, bummer.
Sony give us good games every month but not all are going to be our cup of tea. PUBG isn't my cup of tea but I will have a dabble on SFV for an hour but just the other month we had CoDWW2 and SWBF2 which I loved. I always check out GwG every month as that makes me happy as they really do get crap games.
Already looking forward to see what we get next month.
I'm here like every month just to say I only have PS+ to access online multiplayer!! I just want Sony to separate the PS+ from online gaming!!
@PretendWorking 37 mil usa..10 mil japan..44 mil all of europe..of which Germany has 9 mil and the uk has 8 mil..rest of the world..get this 19 mil..so of the estimated 110 mil units sold the psnow available number is without looking into each individual European country(which would only make the number more in my favor) 64 mil..prob add another 10 mil or so from other European countries that have access..so without that and just usa, japan, uk, and germay we are at 61%..if I do some "research" into other European country sales and what they classify as "rest of the world" im quite sure 75% or higher have access..as for people who have access and choose not to use said service..well that is besides the point..my statement was based upon who has the actual ability to use it..you are stating 95% do not have access and that is clearly not the case as almost 50% console sales come from USA and Japan alone..do you understand what I was saying now?..oh and those numbers are reported as of May 4th 2020..simple Google search and you can find console sale reports
@Teej13
Are you trying to wind people up? We pay for this, it's not free 🙄
@Teej13 but people that do pay pay for both services have a right to complain, especially when you can get both of these games on a service they already subscribe to.
@Steve30000 I get where everyone is coming from, and I'm certainly not trying to wind people up. Everyone has the right to be upset and complain, what annoys me is that it's a constant stream of complaints. Maybe I'm in the wrong, but my personal opinion is, if you're not happy about something, don't keep giving them you're money. I wasn't impressed with PS now, I didn't like the majority of the selection of games they had and it wasn't worth me paying money each month for. So I cancelled my subscription. Ps plus, personally, is a service you pay for to be able to play online with friends and I make the most of online storage which has come in extremely useful when my ps broke and I didn't lose all my save files. The games, for me, are a bonus. Some months there are games that I've just bought a couple of days before on a deal, but I don't pay for the games. If I wanna buy a game, I'd spend that £19.99 every 3 months on getting myself games that I want Instead of relying on a mystery box. If you want a snickers, you don't go out and buy a lucky dip and hope to get a snickers. The games are a great addition to a monthly service (to play online). Every time I've had a problem online, Sony sorts it out straight away. That's what I pay for. I can see why people are annoyed, but it's a matter of subjective opinion. Personally, if you're not happy with the games, cancel the subscription and just have one or the other. Same reason I have Netflix but not Prime... I'm not gonna get everything, but I'm not paying twice for the same films
@Banehatsu I get what you mean man. I guess it's subjective for me. I'm just sick to death of people complaining every month who continue to pay. Its not mandatory, ya know, if ya don't like it, don't buy it! (that was t directed solely at you, just in general)
True i just want something good that's all tbh
Really bad month tbh. I can probably see some value in PUBG (not for me of course, for others), but basic SFV is one of the worst experiences with a fighting game. If it was arcade edition, then maybe it would have some worth, but in its original state it's just bad.
Put this on right next to mays selection cuz goddamn these games are bad
Soooo... I've tried SFV and must say there are more loading screens, than gaming itself. 🙁 Really don't understand, why there must be loading for some meaningless "traveling to another location" screen. And that face off animation followed by "supported by" screen? The worst of it is, that it's NOT skippable. I'm.... disappointed. 😐
None of them interest me! Bad selection of games ! Hopefully October will bring Days Gone,Dayz ,or some other picks Like dying light, resident evil Biohazard,and/or spiderman
@djlard IKR is an acronym for "I know, right?"
@Saitama117 Ahh... I would never find it out in milion years. 😂
