I've been spending some time with my PS3 slim for FF X HD and Fatal Frame II. But this afternoon, i can't sign in to PSN from PS3. It showed error and this error block me from playing any games, digital or physical which is weird. The error showed 'this game have time limit' and ask me go to setting and set the time clock based on internet, which also showed error. I wonder if Sony secretly turned PS3 into must online console with their latest patch or there's something wrong with my PS3 slim 🤔. Anyone in here experience the same with their PS3?

Beside FF X and Fatal Frame II, i'm playing Ys VII on Vita.

@HonestHick Obviously digital numbers would look bigger when these companies include DLC, MTX, and F2P / digital only games. It's never been a fair comparison and they did it to push "physical is dying, digital is the only future" propaganda as well deleting second hand market. These companies wants total control and every single cent because they don't like to see customers have more options and some ownership from their games.

So no, physical media is not on "life support", not when it still generating $Billion of revenue every year. Heck, there's more and more people buying DVD/Bluray movies these past 2 years.

Completely removing physical media from consumers option is a dumb move. Big stores like GameStop, Wall Mart, etc can do whatever they want. But that means great news for other game stores who's still selling physical games because they will get more customers.

Lol GameStop is a bad example. They have bad management and garbage service for years that they refused to fix. Hence why less and less people buying games from them. Why would you spend more money buying physical games with bad condition from GameStop when you can spend less and get better from other stores?

And GameStop selling more t-shirts and dolls doesn't stop them from closing hundreds of store. Heck, this year they possibly could go bankrupt.

Meanwhile. My local store who's opened since 2000 or more than two decades ago is still thriving selling physical copies. They have excellent service and good price and that's what people want.

I never like card games including the ones in FF like Tetra Master and Triple Triad. The good thing is it's optional.

I'm glad i never touch gacha games.

@MrPeanutbutterz I'm also on my SF 6 break. Last time i played was back in October / November when there's a free multiplayer weekend. Played some ranked match with Ed and fought some Sagat and C.Viper. I'll coming back when Alex released or in April. I probably gonna buy Alex if he's fun to use.

@JustMyOpinion Considering this is a new IP and have AAA budget unlike Pokemon, it's possible they could do a lot more without limitation place by Nintendo or Pokemon template.

@Coolmusic Yeah it has Wild Hearts vibe. But for me, it also has Princess Mononoke and Nier Automata vibe which i'm also really like.

@zidane4028 Are those brand new copy from 2016 / 19 really legit? I mean, i've read plenty of them doesn't have white Playstation strip / seal and just 3rd party reseal. Some also have pixelated / off-color cover art.

@Rich33 I've seen some grifters who claim Sony paid Circana to lies / showed fake numbers. Like what's the point for Sony to do that, make their shareholders and Sucker Punch angry? Lol. But yeah, it's nice to see the game sold well and with Yotei success, big chance Sucker Punch already got the greenlight for a new Ghost and maybe a new IP as well. I believe Sucker Punch only make 3 games for each series before moved on to a new IP.

I'm surprised there's still retail store who stock brand new PS2, PSP, and Vita copy.

But not surprised with some people going back to retro games / console. I'm also saving money to get an og PS2 + a second hand copy of Front Mission 4, Ace Combat 4, Shadow of Rome, Viewtiful Joe 1, Max Payne 1, and Xenosaga eps 1.

@Bob_Tempura 2XKO is F2P and it has multiple beta test. Beta test is important to gather players feedback and stress test the network. In fact, Highguard really needs a beta test after the meh revealed. But eh, no one gonna miss if another live service bite the dust 🤷‍♂️

Capcom goes super hard with Alex!

They changed him from a hybrid charge-motion input grappler/brawler to full motion input grappler/brawler with stances. Now he have command dash with multiple follow ups and 11 different throws like hot dang!

Kinda funny that he's a New Yorker and a wrestler who turn heel but they gave him an uplifting theme fits for a hero composed by a legendary Japanese band 😆

@nomither6 SF 5 doesn't have AKI, Terry, Mai, Ingrid, Elena, and C.Viper as DLC. Nor it have Dee Jay and newcomers Jamie, Manon, Marisa, JP, Kimberly, and Lily in the base roster.

If it's not dead then they wouldn't cancelled the remake.

As a company, Ubisoft is like a zombie. It's been dead for quite some time but it still moving aimlessly.

I never heard of TCL though but i used to owned Sony's CRT. The TV was solid and worked for more than a decade until it's completely dead. Since then i owned Samsung or LG tv.

I think you read it wrong. TCL and Sony will form a joint venture by making a new company. TCL owned 51% of that new company, not Sony's share.

Code Veronica deserves a remake and 5 also to some degree. But i don't see the need to remake 0.

Instead of remake 0, i rather see Capcom remake RE Survivor or Outbreak. Heck, just make Revelations 3 with Rebecca, Billy, Sheva, or Charlos.

PS4 would be 13 years old this november. The old machine deserves a long rest from carried 8th Gen console (and very early 9th Gen console) alone while other consoles like WiiU and Xbox 1 really messed up.

I never played the 2nd game but gameplay wise, the 1st game was okay. But the story, characters, and music was unmemorable af. It's far inferior compare to other PS1 beat em up like Gekido or Jackie Chan Stuntmaster.

Also, i never like LRG and they never bother release digitally or physically for Asia region :/

The lore sounds interesting and i would try it if the game have single player campaign.

You only seen the minority cause games like Helldivers 2, Apex Legend, Fortnite, COD, FF XIV, or Marvel Rivals wouldn't do well on PS5 if PS5 community are so anti-online.

Even some games with online multiplayer like SF 6, Tekken 8, GT 7, or MH World / Wild have big and very active online players on PS5.

@Foxhound Yes all three of them have official english localization. But only Chaos Rings 3 who received physical copy and it's only for Japan.

I never heard of this game but it kinda looks like Katamari Damacy.

@KidRisky Contacting Sony customer service is a waste of time and Chaos Rings preservation community pretty much gonna suggest to jailbreak Vita or played on emulator. As a customer, there's nothing i can do legally to get these games back to my download list.

This is why i never like digital games and must always online games. They are designed to messed up the customers one way or another :/

Some cases did removed the game from your download list and blocked any access to redownload them.

I bought Chaos Rings 1 on Vita and Disgaea 1 PS2 classic on PS3. But after Square and NISA delisted both game from Vita and PS3 store, they also completely gone from my download list. Since then i can't redownload them anymore.

The same with P.T. I can't redownload it because Konami delisted from the store and my download list.

The saddest thing is Chaos Rings 1 doesn't have physical release and it was one of the best JRPG that Media.Vision ever made 🥀

@Max_the_German There's nothing complicated from performance & quality mode, BC, or a game with standard / deluxe editions.

There's nothing complicated from reading a description or watching a trailer to see which game is a remake and which one is the original BEFORE you buy a game either.

I'm playing:

• Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction / PS3
  I bought a second hand copy, pretty cheap like $3, and so far i'm having a blast. But this game is almost 2 decades old and it still looks pretty good too. Sony is really lucky to have Insomniac as one of their top notch 1st party studio.
• Ys: The Oath in Felghana / Hard diff / PS Vita
  I'm almost at the end, just 3-4 more bosses. I can't count how many times i died and restart with some bosses like Guilen, Gildias, and Zirduros to the point i'm almost give up to finish this game with Hard diff. But i keep pushing on and now i can see the light at the end of the tunnel...
• Detroit: Become Human / PS4
  It's scary that this game have one of digital newspaper / magazine showed World War 3 at the Arctic, close to what's happening right now involving US, Russia, China, NATO, and Greenland...

Capcom have all RE 1-4 og and remake in the store and they didn't delisted the og to prevent someone buy the wrong version because they are too dumb / lazy to read the description and check the screenshots / trailers.

@datamonkey Yes there's free flight mode after you complete a mission. But take off, landing, and mid-air refueling only for specific missions.

I think i've seen Magical Truck Adv on my Timezone like many moons ago. I never try it though.

@VeganH They don't need to since the gacha market on PS is oversaturated (this, Genshin, ZZZ, WuWa, Honkai, Seven Deadly Sins etc etc) and Sony earned 30% cut. Pretty much Sony made pure profit without spend a cent to make these gacha games.

The devs Toge is from my country but i rarely played any of their games. I'm happy they have success though and with pixel art graphic too.

I reccomend A Space for the Unbound, an adventure game with pixel art and also published by Toge / Chorus Worldwide but developed by Mojinken which also from my country.

I enjoyed the manga, owned the full set 41 volume. But are there anyone who really hype / expecting this game especially when it's a gacha game?
