Resident Evil Requiem has been out on PS5 for a full week now, and we hope that's been long enough for you to see its horrors through to the end. That's because we need you to give it a review score.
The game went down extremely well with critics. It's one of the highest-rated titles of the year so far, and we imagine that it'll be in the Game of the Year conversation eight or so months from now.
Indeed, we've seen some serious praise heaped on Capcom's latest. We've seen lifelong fans of the franchise call it one of their favourite instalments, and we suppose that makes sense, since Requiem leans quite heavily into nostalgic territory.

It's a bit of a love letter to the series as a whole, combining old school survival horror sections with stints of all-out action. It's an impressively dynamic and often breathless campaign.
For the record, we gave it a 'great' 8/10 in our Resident Evil Requiem PS5 review. We loved its fantastic mix of high quality gameplay, but we did suggest that it's a little lopsided in favour of the aforementioned action.
"On paper, Resident Evil Requiem is essentially a two-in-one package that delivers both excellent survival horror and action gameplay. It is that in practise, too, but the playtime imbalance between the two is enough that you’ll get too much of one and not enough of the other," we concluded.
We also wrote a hefty Resident Evil Requiem guide, if you need any help reaching 100% completion.
