We’ll say one thing about Street Fighter 6’s skins: they always look awesome.
Unfortunately, many fans remain frustrated with how slowly they’re being added to the game. Case in point: 17th March will see two new outfits, for Elena and DeeJay, added.
These are still part of the Outfit 4 swimsuit series which started some months ago. Some characters still only have two costumes to choose from.
“Six months for two pairs of shorts,” one disgruntled fan wrote on X (or Twitter). “Wow, slow down Capcom.”

Another added: “If we add up all the time since the Outfit 3 drop, it's absurd how long it’s taken for all characters to get a new costume.”
Indeed, all 18 launch characters received their Outfit 3 costumes on 1st December, 2023 – that’s more than two years ago now.
We will say, both Elena and DeeJay look great – we love the Daisy Dukes on top of Elena’s swimsuit, as well as the peek at DeeJay’s speedos beneath his shorts.
But at this rate, we may be moving on to Street Fighter 7 before every character’s got a fifth costume. That release cadence does seem slow, even if it’s obvious a lot of work goes into these.
