I can't justify that. I'll stick to PS Plus games and buy the odd game day 1 like GTA 6 and sell it once i beat the story to recoup some costs.

Square Enix have high sales expectations so it wouldn't be wise to release it exclusively to PS6.

I fully expect Part 3 to release on PS5, PC, Xbox and the inevitable port to the next gen consoles where all 3 games are packaged in 1 bundle.

GTA 5 being among the top 5 most downloaded games 12 years after release is insane

FF7 Rebirth was my favourite game of 2024.

I love football but see no need to get the yearly releases. It inevitably comes to PS Plus or goes on a deep sale for £10 or less

Precisely. Astro can't even begin to rival the popularity of Mario on a popularity scale. Kids to grandparents can recognize Mario.

However Astro Bot as a game was great. I'd say it can compete with the best mario platformers of the past 40 years

After Veilguard, expectations are low to non-existent.

Astro Bot may not have the same popularity as Mario, however in terms of quality, I'd put Astro Bot up against the best Mario platformers ever
