Its really not. I missed having party members to control and previous entries had much deeper combat to master.

I understand they were experimenting with this but it strayed too much away from Final Fantasy. Felt like I was playing a worse version of Game Of Thrones

I was incredibly disappointed. I love final fantasy. Played nearly all of them but I just couldn't get into FF16.

I made it more than halfway through but found myself forcing myself to finish it instead of wanting to play it.

This was me. Never had an Xbox so got a series S to go through the xbox catalogue and any gamepass games day 1

Currently playing it. Does everything a sequel should. Definitely going for the platinum.

Remasters of PS4 games screams creatively bankrupt.

Game plays fine on PS5 as it is. Love the game but hard pass.

If I didn't already have a PS5, I'd agree with you. I would play on PC. Better for the consumer and more variety / free online play etc.

Yet I do have one and have spent £500-£1000 on hardware. If for example, PS exclusives came day 1 on PC, instead of buying PS stuff, i'd build a nice rig with that money instead which allows me to play nearly everything except Nintendo games.

These companies aren't our friends. They want our money. I'm well aware. I'll game where its most convenient to do so, in the above scenario, a gaming PC would be far more economical with more variety (Steam /Gamepass /PS)

The writing is on the wall. If they do that with PS6, will simply game on a PC instead and not buy the PS hardware.

You could be right. As a consumer, my only interest is whether the PS is a worthwhile investment for me. Whether me playing Sony exclusives alone doesn't benefit them, that's their issue. I saw their product and got it for my own reasons. It would be up to them to convince me to play other multiplat games on their hardware (sales / dlcs etc)

I'd have little incentive to have a PS5 then. I'd sell it and game on PC.

I'd have access to Steam / Gamepass & PS Exclusives Day 1. Why would I have a PS5?

This strategy appears to be successful for Sony so we should expect this to be the new norm.

As long as its not day 1 on PC, then I don't see the issue. Get a PS5 to play the exclusives earlier than PC.

Expect a delay to Spring 2026.

The latest Like A Dragon came has 4 years between them. Thats fine especially since they released other games like Lost Judgment and the man who erased his name inbetween.

Elder Scrolls & GTA 6 is taking the absolute piss. At this rate, we have to wait until 2037 for GTA 7 lol.

When GTA 6 is reported to cost $2 Billion and AAA games need 10+million sales to just break even, industry is in trouble.

That makes business sense.

Releasing games day 1 on gamepass 100% eats into potential sales.

This sums up gaming and media in general. My backlog forever increases with each new month of PS Plus additions.

Great problem to have but I now almost never buy anything full price because there is something I have to catch up on

Pro Clubs is fun but I rarely get the chance to play with the lads at the same time. Back in my uni days, it was damn near daily. Now we lucky to play at all.

As someone who only plays Fifa for Seasons mode, this is a good month.

Stopped bothering to buy it full price when I know it will come to subscription services within the year.

Spring 2025 was already a stretch. Holiday 2025 is more realistic.

These headlines are misleading when we know the vast majority of sales are digital.

No point buying Persona games at launch.
