Both games are dropping Day 1 on Gamepass so Xbox have to market them hard to make it worth the investment.

It will likely always sell more on Playstation regardless though.

Curious to hear the overall sales numbers after one week.

Yakuza is now a mainstream franchise. No english dub at launch will hurt sales although I highly recommend playing it in Japanese.

I'm like you. I rarely buy games day 1 as there is always a backlog available through PS Plus Premium.

Games I want to play day 1 like Spider-Man I will buy, beat and platinum within a week or 2 and then resell for close to the amount I purchased it for.

Did this for GOW Ragnarok and essentially spent $10 on it after reselling it.

3 years into PS5 and nothing even hinted at by Naughty Dog yet Insomniac is about to release its 2nd major title.

Dragonball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 3 was my favourite back on PS2.

Easy enough for anyone to pick up and have a good time and deep enough for people to master too.

I still play Factions to this day. TLOU multiplayer is so much fun and especially with friends.

How they messed up this badly when the formula was already there is insane.

Perfectly fine with 2 discs to store games. We have been doing it since the PS1 days and if you don't want discs, you can always download.

This is what happens when you ignore what made you the company you are today and go chasing what everyone else is doing.

AAA Single Player games. This is what Sony is known for and what makes them win the console generation after generation. Don't fix what isn't broken.

Saints Row was the first game where I had to immediately go into the control setup and try play with it to make it even playable.

Then after playing a few missions, I deleted it and will almost certainly never go back.

The review scores were justified.

10 Million sold in the first week is my prediction.

Swinging should be easy to do that anyone can grab a controller and do it but have enough depth that people who get really good can swing faster and with more finesse.

That's why Rockstar has little incentive to push out GTA 6. Their 10 year old game is consistently in the Top 10 and makes them billions each year.

I love Naruto (Stopped watching when Shippuden finished. Had a good ending.) Played all the ultimate ninja storm games so I'll likely wait for a sale since I have all 1-4 games.

Callisto Protocol is something I would try but not buy to try.

Exclusives have always been part of gaming. You now have a choice to make. Stick to playstation (which most people likely will do) or get an Xbox to play Xbox exclusive games.

Same thing with Nintendo. Lets not cheer Sony keeping things exclusive by buying Insomniac but get upset when Microsoft does the same thing.

Yakuza 0 is one of my favourite games of all time and I love the fact this franchise doesn't wait too long until the next game is released.

1-3 years is the sweet spot. You can fully enjoy one adventure (in this case two!) before the next one drops.

Just finished Lost Judgment through PS Plus and I am stoked to play these Day 1

Its incredibly ignorant of people to assume their way of thinking is the only correct way.

The Yakuza & Judgment games have always displayed the female characters as being just as capable as the men from Sayama, Seto, Saiko, Mafuya & Haruka who we literally play as in Yakuza 5 as she takes charge of her destiny and life and makes decisions for herself to Saoru who was responsible for bringing Ichiban and team together in Yakuza 7.

I'm excited for the game. I appreciate Japanese culture a lot (Clearly as I love these games, anime etc) and understand that the culture there is different to mine and that's fine

This was expected. They will use Cid & Vincent to help market the 3rd game or they will be part of the "Intergrade" DLC for this game.

Competition is good for us the consumer as stuff like this forces Sony to keep innovating to stay competitive.

Also lets be real, if Sony had the finances to make such a deal themselves, they almost certainly would too.

Final Fantasy X Remaster -154 Hours (Platinum)

I mainly play single player games but love the multiplayer for Uncharted 4. Reckon most of my games are in the 30-40 hour range.

The fact this is all they do for a 10 year anniversary is beyond pathetic.

But then again, they have no incentive to try harder when people continue to buy the game and pay shark cards regardless.

2023 has truly spoilt us with games.

Red Dead Redemption 1 selling like hotcakes just goes to show that people on websites like these are the VAST minority when it comes to gamers.

People complained about the $50 price tag and the masses have shown they don't mind it. These practices shall sadly continue.
