£300 for the Digital PS5 is a great price point

Ignoring all trailers as I know this is a Day 1 purchase.

Getting an Xbox Series S refurbished for £150 is going to be extremely tempting with Gamepass.

The Last Of Us Part 1 can be found for £30 regularly on marketplaces.

We're going to miss Physical once it inevitably gets phased out.

Yakuza goes on sale regularly but I highly recommend anyone to play Yakuza 0 before it leaves in August.

Parents should not be putting their credit card details on any console. Use giftcards and actually monitor what their children are spending it on.

Bioshock Collection goes on sale for under £10 regularly for those that have missed out.

Great FPS collection and for the price of a medium pizza at Dominos.

Rarely buy games since 2018 due to subscription models. As someone who games on a budget, paying less than £80/Year for access to all the titles just makes sense as I rarely ever replay games.

Sony is likely already planning for the future and how to counter this with their own moves

eg: Square-Enix being bought out.

I wouldn't be surprised if major Sony meetings are being called for as I type this.

In the short - term, nothing much will change but the precedent has been set. Microsoft is going to try buy Sony out of the gaming market and with how deep their pockets are, I am waiting for the inevitable acquisition of SEGA or something similar.

Not much will change in the short term since COD will release on Playstation for 10 years but Sony has to start making counter moves now or they could disappear by 2040

A Bully sequel would likely underwhelm without their involvement.

Will be interesting to see how Yakuza 8 and other RGG are received compared to their previous ones.

@ShogunRok I am definitely big into the story,world,character building part of final fantasy and I am decent at action games so I reckon I will buy this Day 1 and start playing over the weekend after work.

@ShogunRok As a Final Fantasy fan that loved the older FF titles, would I be put off by the seemingly huge change from RPG to action game?

I wasn't that much of a fan of FFXV's combat system although I did enjoy FF13's combat.

They know this is going to sell 10 million + copies within weeks without the need for a demo.

I anticipate it to be the highest selling game of the year if it matches the numbers the first game did in 2018.

Only worth it if its cheaper getting the 2 years through the bundle.

Then any new Playstation user getting this is a no brainer.
