Almost certainly not. They are bundled together. Warzone is their money maker.

The sad reality is gamers have shown they don't care about these practices so although we on here may be outraged, I fully expect this port to sell well on PS4/5 and especially Nintendo Switch.

Gamers tolerated GTA 5 on PS4 and then tolerated Shark Cards and then tolerated GTA 5 now PS5 and now GTA Plus and it still continues to sell like hotcakes.

He is laughing at us because he knows once the rage passes, it will still bring in many more millions.

This is to ensure that when this month passes, people are still able to claim and play Dreams.

There will be more PS5 users buying consoles later in the year and this allows them to try it out

To think they have managed these numbers without having many PS5 only games is wild.

Its almost a certainty that GTA Online 2.0 will be its main focus.

Going to be loaded with microtransactions and GTA Plus. I expect them to minimise the single player and incentivize people to play online.

The Rockstar we knew has been dead for a long time.

Well said. This episodic format where you wait for the next episode really messes up the consistent flow of the game.

They are basically telling people not to bother getting it until the full season is complete.

Agreed. My friends haven't bothered upgrading because there has literally been no reason for them to.

They played GOW Ragnarok. Horizon Forbidden West, Hogwarts Legacy and they love COD so they have been playing COD MW2 as well.

The only time I can see them upgrading is this winter once Spider-Man 2 and games like FF7 Rebirth come out which are PS5 only.

This winter is the only time there is a real need to upgrade. Nearly all PS5 exclusives can be found on PS4.

Baffles me too but If people have shown they are willing to pay £60-70 every year for a few updates, I would give the people what they accept from us as a publisher.

Makes you wonder what the heck are the other studios doing when Insomniac could have 3-4 games released this generation so far and they have none yet.

Bioshock Collection goes on sale for under £10 regularly for those that have missed out.

Great FPS collection and for the price of a medium pizza at Dominos.

Rarely buy games since 2018 due to subscription models. As someone who games on a budget, paying less than £80/Year for access to all the titles just makes sense as I rarely ever replay games.

Sony is likely already planning for the future and how to counter this with their own moves

eg: Square-Enix being bought out.

I wouldn't be surprised if major Sony meetings are being called for as I type this.

In the short - term, nothing much will change but the precedent has been set. Microsoft is going to try buy Sony out of the gaming market and with how deep their pockets are, I am waiting for the inevitable acquisition of SEGA or something similar.

Not much will change in the short term since COD will release on Playstation for 10 years but Sony has to start making counter moves now or they could disappear by 2040
