Came here to make this same comment lol. I can't remember the last time Square-Enix were publicly happy about the sales for a game.

Currently playing and loving Lost Judgment, have no desire to play these so hard pass for this month.

Got 1 year of PS Plus Premium left and once that runs out, will downgrade to PS Plus Extra on a sale.

Has to be one of the worst months in PS Plus history.

The overall numbers will go down to combat the increased revenue so is it really a win for them in the end?

This is why we must never ever have "loyalty" to a corporation. Only use them as long as they are useful to you. Once that stops, abandon ship with haste.

The Saints Row Reboot ironically ended the franchise and developer.

They actively ignored fans wishes and the game bombed as a result. It would be disingenuous to say i'm shocked but I am grateful for the OG Saints Row 1 & 2

Sony reeking of early PS3 levels of arrogance again.

Gamepass is cheaper than PS Plus Premium and gives far better perks with Starfield dropping Day 1.

The fact the Saints Row Reboot is considered the best game of the month, just goes to show how abysmal this month is.

Lower your expectations for this one.

There is a reason its a 3rd party game on PS Plus a year after release.

Go in with 5/10 expectations and you may be pleasantly surprised

That's why I've never managed to get into them. I like games that show me a 100% list and I can choose what to do or ignore. Once its completed, I move on or play the multiplayer from time to time.

A game with no ending isn't for me.

People underestimate how the vast majority of gamers are not on places like here or Reddit. They casually play games.

There is a reason Fifa & COD are almost always the best selling games of the year. People want to play what they know when they have some free time and those 2 are as recognizable as they come to gamers and non gamers.

My thoughts exactly. If you wanted to use remote play, your phone, tablet, laptop or any screen you likely already have is there so all you need is your controller.

$200 is an expensive accessory for something that has literally 1 purpose.

They could release the same game with a new cover and it would still sell millions.

No wonder Rockstar are taking their sweet time releasing GTA 6.

Why bother when your 10 year old game is selling better than games released this year.

Microsoft gains influence with another major publisher and still get what they want.

PS4 has to be the most supported console of all time. Its close to 10 years old and has still been receiving major releases in its 10th year (Hogwarts Legacy, Resident Evil 4 Remake, MGS Collection etc)

A PS Plus Premium Subscription and a $100 or cheaper used PS4 is insane value for someone new to gaming.

This is why i stick to single player games and even then I have to be mindful (ubisoft games)

Yakuza and Judgment games are excellent examples of actual games. You get 100s of hours of content and feel satisfied when you hit 100%

Gamers have been conditioned to beta test games at launch and be drip fed content every few months

This is why Rockstar don't care about the vocal minority. People will complain and it will still sell like hotcakes at $50.

They have no reason to change because gamers have shown they will pay

Almost certainly not. They are bundled together. Warzone is their money maker.

The sad reality is gamers have shown they don't care about these practices so although we on here may be outraged, I fully expect this port to sell well on PS4/5 and especially Nintendo Switch.

Gamers tolerated GTA 5 on PS4 and then tolerated Shark Cards and then tolerated GTA 5 now PS5 and now GTA Plus and it still continues to sell like hotcakes.

He is laughing at us because he knows once the rage passes, it will still bring in many more millions.

This is to ensure that when this month passes, people are still able to claim and play Dreams.

There will be more PS5 users buying consoles later in the year and this allows them to try it out

To think they have managed these numbers without having many PS5 only games is wild.

Its almost a certainty that GTA Online 2.0 will be its main focus.

Going to be loaded with microtransactions and GTA Plus. I expect them to minimise the single player and incentivize people to play online.

The Rockstar we knew has been dead for a long time.

No interest at all. Played and beaten several times on PS3.

Well said. This episodic format where you wait for the next episode really messes up the consistent flow of the game.

They are basically telling people not to bother getting it until the full season is complete.

Agreed. My friends haven't bothered upgrading because there has literally been no reason for them to.

They played GOW Ragnarok. Horizon Forbidden West, Hogwarts Legacy and they love COD so they have been playing COD MW2 as well.

The only time I can see them upgrading is this winter once Spider-Man 2 and games like FF7 Rebirth come out which are PS5 only.

This winter is the only time there is a real need to upgrade. Nearly all PS5 exclusives can be found on PS4.

Baffles me too but If people have shown they are willing to pay £60-70 every year for a few updates, I would give the people what they accept from us as a publisher.

Makes you wonder what the heck are the other studios doing when Insomniac could have 3-4 games released this generation so far and they have none yet.
