Perhaps they wanted the exclusivity to have the Sony marketing behind it. People pay attention when Sony markets games.

Battlefield 6 destroying COD this year is a good example. I know casual gamers who got BF6 through marketing alone.

I have zero intention of getting a PS6 until it is absolutely necessary (Next blockbuster AAA Game exclusive to it)

We know most games will release on PS5 and 6 for the first few years. Im not shelling out probably $600-700 for slightly better graphics

Yakuza 0 was my first and best Yakuza game back in 2019.

I hope there is a minigame as addictive as the Cabaret in Kiwami 2. Spent hours maxing that out and ignored the main story 🤣

Buy a game if you know you're going to play it immediately. Otherwise you will likely get it cheaper if you get it later on.

I've been gaming since I was 4 and the reasons to upgrade are becoming increasingly less. I'm content with the PS5 and with cross gen games lasting longer each gen, I don't see myself seeing the need to upgrade until 2030 or beyond

This is the answer. It wasn't great in the game and its even less so on TV. I'm curious to see if there is a fall off in viewership similar to how many people dropped the game once we got to this part of the game.

My sister watched the show having never played the games and lost all interest by episode 3 after THAT scene.

It was a horrible decision back then and it shows now. But remember, we can't provide criticism or we are problematic.

Playing through the remaster now so this is welcome.

That's 100% the goal. They did the same with GTA 5. They know they will make $Billions already next year in Holiday 2026.

They will release it on PC in 2027 and then again on PS6 in 2028 and the new GTA Online will make sure they don't release a GTA 7 until PS7 in late 2030s

Genuine criticism isn't review bombing. The ratings for the season have dropped for a reason. When season 1 is being praised, nobody questions 10/10 reviews but when season 2 gets lower reviews its now review bombing?
