I started Ys Memoire: The Oath in Felghana last night, the nostalgia is strong with this one, having played the PSP version ages ago!

@PuppetMaster The logic is very sound. While Asobi did make one amazing game in Astro Bot (ranked at #1), Atlus made three amazing games (two of them ranked at #2 and #10).

Considering how challenging it is to release just one great game, releasing three of them in the same calendar year is an extraordinary feat, one deserving of winning best developer of 2024.

Atlus, Falcom, and Shift Up would be my top 3

Wii U - big flop, so much so that Nintendo had to make the unprecedented move to release a second home console during the same generation, in the Switch...

If the Switch 2 is too similar to the OG Switch, there is no guarantee of it being a success..

@Kingleo31 Yeah I noticed that too. The second half of 2024 is when big hit games that could easily have run on PS4 stopped having a PS4 release: Life is Strange Double Exposure, Dragon Quest III HD-2D, Lego Horizon Adventures, to name a few.

Stellar Blade. Finally bought the game during a Black Friday promotion. Didn't expect to love it as much as this, close to a masterpiece imo!

And here I thought The Game Awards couldn't be even more of a clownshow. Looks like I've been proven wrong.

What do you mean PS Stars "may" have been nerfed?

First they decrease the expiry time of points from 2 years to 1 year.

Then they choose to no longer give points for renewing/buying a PS Plus membership.

Now they remove several exchange options.

Not to mention all the technical problems these last few months.

If that's not total nerfing, I dunno what is!!!

I love this game. Got a copy early 2016 and was amazed at its quality. My favourite ever non-Gran Turismo racing game for sure.
