@NinjaNicky
"Sony hasn't released a good PS5 yet (I mean proper exclusive, not a PS4 upgrade). Its been out almost 3 years, they need to stop with the PS4 games and give us PS5 games."

Astro's Playroom, Demon's Souls, Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart (exclusive until very recently), Final Fantasy XVI, Spider-Man 2 (out next month).
None are on PS4.

Loamy's right, you're a sad, sad man who gets off on baiting.

Trying to finish Ghost Trick Phantom Detective this weekend, such an amazing game. Will move on to Alan Wake Remastered next, my objective being to complete all the best PS+ Essential games before letting my subscription run out. No way am I supporting Sony's scummy price hike.

Any recommendations as to the best Essential games? Bloodborne and Control are some of the obvious ones...

Re: Best Trails Games Ranked: Which Trails Games to Play and Where to Start

Foxhound

@chibuki Nope, the only correct starting point is Trails in the Sky.

I unfortunately discovered and started this amazing series with Trails of Cold Steel I & II, and they ruined Trails in the Sky for me.

And as for "2. The story is completely standalone, makes almost no reference to any preceding Trails game"
Uh, WHAT? You know that's not true lol

Trails of Cold Steel I mentions so much from the Sky trilogy that it's very easy to feel completely lost.

Some of the stuff a person starting with Cold Steel will ask themselves:

Wtf is a bracer?

Who the hell are Cassius Bright and Leonhardt?

Wtf was the Orbal Shutdown incident?

Not to mention that playing Cold Steel before Sky spoils the identity and roles of two very major characters...

So yeah, no, Trails in the Sky is by far the best way to start.

@Fishnpeas My thoughts exactly! This is not worth buying as we know Atlus will definitely release an updated version of this game containing the missing FES + FeMC content a year or two after this release... All part of their strategy to make fans splurge their hard-earned cash twice or more, just like they did to great effect with the 3 versions of Persona 5...

Re: DriveClub Has Already Been Delisted in Multiple Territories, and Fans Aren't Happy

Why are so many people defending Sony and/or putting the blame on the players? The fact remains that Sony outright lied, and delisted the content around 36 hours before it was due to be removed.

Imagine applying for a job, getting the offer, and being told you're required to sign the contract before 31/08 23:59. You sign it on 30/08 and are then told you did it too late, so they hire someone else.

Same scenario here!
