Another reason that the VITA is a beast of a console is the fact that it's also a Trails-machine, with a total of 7 Trails games being available on it: The Sky Evolution trilogy, Crossbell Evolution duology, and Cold Steel I & II. I'm thankful I managed to discover this gem of a JRPG series thanks to my VITA.

I love the VITA, it's my favourite handheld console of all time. A successor would be amazing.

I don't get why MGS3 is getting the remake treatment when all fans have been wanting to see for decades is the beginning of Solid Snake's legendary career in the original MSX Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2 remade in today's graphics and gameplay...

Since they want to ostracize PlayStation players, then so be it. Hopefully this game will flop hard, as that seems to be their aim here.

I know exactly how those saying the game is only 40-50 hours long "play" the game: skipping all cutscenes, not bothering to do sidequests, not talking to NPCs... It's sad, really, as that is exactly the opposite of how a Trails game is enjoyed. Imho, no other gaming series has such a solid cast of characters, worldbuilding and lore.

Sorry to hear about you having to take a break, hope you can resume it soon no problem and enjoy the next chapters even more!

This next, next, next Trails game is the 13th title of the series. Let that sink in. I'd love a Trails in the Sky Trilogy remaster since they're the only 3 of the 13 not available on recent consoles, but that seems to have been cancelled by Falcom.

I don't get these devs trying to make a game as hard as possible. A game should by default be at a standard difficulty with options to make it more difficult or more easy, not hard by default with just options to make it easier.

This practice which Microsoft and Embracer have engaged in willy-nilly is despicable, with disastrous consequences.

Sony's big mistake was allowing players from countries where PSN isn't available to purchase the game. What a colossal f'up from them.

Tunic and FC24 make it a good selection

The Stellar Blade controversy is not overblown at all. They explicitly stated the game would not be censored, then did go ahead and censor it!

In this Helldivers case, they did communicate the PSN requirement prior to the game's release, so these players can't complain!

Managed to get many hours of enjoyment playing Rebirth and Unicorn Overlord remotely via the Portal. Of course, I had to configure router settings to get it working outside of my home connection (setting up a dedicated backport) but it was all worthwhile!

Nah, I'll skip this one since it isn't possible to play solo.

Good month. Reminds me of FIFA 22 being given as an Essential title 2 years ago also in May. I'd never buy those sports games but I enjoy playing them from time to time. Tunic is the highlight of the month, amazing title.
