@Areus Yeah same. You needed to unlock all the cages to be able to access the final level, and they were extremely tough to find and reach. I speak for my experience playing the game as a kid, but I think even adult-me would still struggle!

@UltimateOtaku91 FuRyu games are generally horrible. Reynatis is garbage as well. The only semi-decent ones I've played are Caligula Effect and Monark.

Falcom gets my vote, 2 mainline Trails games in the same year is insane. 2026 will repeat the trend with Horizon and Sky 2nd Chapter, I can't wait!

@Ludacritz What would be a fair price to buy the game? I loved the PS2 Budokai and Budokai Tenkaichi series from the early-mid noughties and reading comments similar to yours stopped me from going for the purchase

Definitely will play it at some point, but Trails Beyond the Horizon mid-January onwards followed by Dragon Quest 7 have priority

Lately, the trend is for PS4 versions to be omitted (Tales of Xillia Remastered, Tales of Berseria Remastered, Dragon Quest I & II HD-2D Remakes, Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake, Gex Trilogy, Triangle Strategy, Trails in the Sky First Chapter, to name a few) despite them having a Switch 1 release and perfectly being capable of running on PS4...
