I’m going out out tonight, but I hope to fit in a bit of Simpsons Fortnite and proceed on my replay of Ghost of Tsushima.

I’ll take the WRC game! Just finished WRC Generations so hopefully it’s similar to that.

Absolutely loved the first one but the second one kept overheating my PS5 regularly (only game to do so) so I could never get into it. Hoping this one is playable for me as they are great games.

@Templedoom Excellent point. I think most people show by their comments they couldn’t care less about developers though.
Devil’s Advocate to that argument of course is that businesses don’t care about consumers either, so it goes both ways.

On the other hand, the bonus is you can sell the game on after playing it. You’ll recoup some of the cost, and person buying it from you gets a cheaper game and the devs get nothing. Can’t sell on a digital purchase. So there is a slight upside to the consumer regardless of what’s on the disk.

If you’re not a horror fan then its pretty awful. October is more than just Halloween.

Tried the demo. Smashed out the entire hour in one sitting. Immediately purchased.

Great game, and demo doing exactly what it’s meant to.

Going to play the free trial of Black Ops 6 and complete the campaign, if I can work out how to download it!

I really liked the demo of this, but it did need some polish, so I can understand the delay.

Was like a mix of Jusant meets The Climb VR.

Dipping into Carto. And then… nothing on the backlog.

They should spend some of their budget on decent voice actors.

Imagine buying this and then finding out you don’t really like the game.

Reminds me of the very much underrated Wolverine Origins game, which is exactly what I wanted it to be. Excellent.

Wouldn’t class any of this as gameplay though, so would be excited to see some actual footage. This just looks like all the Finisher moves sliced together.

I’d be there day 1 for a decent Motorstorm remake/reboot/remaster/new game.

No interest in Saros or Tokon, so I hope there’s something else new besides Wolverine. Will be interested to see some new potential big releases for 26/27.

Having some fun on Skate, but it’s just a bit fiddly - like everything is an effort - I can’t quite gel with it.

Otherwise I’m doing some DLC on Spider-Man, which is great fun, but just more of the same.

Might give Hollow Knight another go?

Trying to ‘prove’ this legally is just ridiculous. It only needs someone with eyes and a brain to look at the comparisons and see it’s a blatant copy.

Games are just released unfinished these days. Never worth a day 1 purchase when you can get the fixed thing at half the price 6 months later. If that means the developers miss out on revenue then they should just release a game that works.

Really looking forward to it, but I’ll play it in 6 months when it’s actually patched to run properly.

Wipeout, Ridge Racer, Ace Combat… the Jumping Flash on the demo disc. What a time to be alive. Changed my life.

Why can’t they just build this functionality into the already existing app?

Premium is the same as always, a small selection of various different styles of game. It’s not meant to have every game appeal to every person.

People always moaning like they’re expecting a PS version of Gamepass with first party titles being made available on Day 1.

Tried to go back to Destiny recently after a few years away.

That was a confusing mistake.

Just a bit of Spider-Man remastered, which has been fun to swing on again. Have been playing the Marvel Tokon beta but I’m not keen.

Mainly looking to get up to date on Alien Earth which has been excellent.

@rachetmarvel I would delighted for it to be a good movie. I love the IP. I’m not saying they shouldn’t be doing it.

However realistically there are 17 listed characters, some portrayed by wrestlers/MMA stars, based on a game which sole premise is ‘people fight’. It doesn’t bode well for good acting, character development or plot. Previous game/movie adaptations inc the old Street Fighter and more notably Mortal Kombat, lead my expectations to be that this will be a cheesy action movie and nothing more.

This will be either ‘So bad it’s good’ or ‘So bad it’s bad’ but either way I’m here for it.

Where is the line crossed when Devs go from optimistic vision of what they will deliver, to just plain lies about what they can do.

I don’t know if selling their future game on "cinematic brilliance, [an] innovative game creation system, and a constant stream of fresh premium content" is just misguided optimism, incompetence, or deliberately misleading.

I thought it was dreadful and my excitement for the game has plummeted. Just flashy headache nonsense with no real sense of racing like Transformed (or Mario or CTR) had. Saved me a purchase anyway.

Claimed it, downloaded it, played it for 30 mins, deleted.

It’s very bland.

I remember the Acclaim logo with a lot of nostalgia so will be interesting to see what they come up with.

Anyone remember the campaign to legally change your name to Turok to win prizes? (And how it later turned out that the ‘winners’ were all actors and the proposed name changes were all fake?)

Is this new news? I’m sure I read about this months ago.

Do we think this will go a bit like Multiversus? Release in early access, everyone will play it, it will generate loads of hype.

Then stop for 6 months. Release the ‘final’ version which will shortly die because half the people will have already tried it and not liked it, and the other half won’t be interested now the hype has gone.

Wanted some good Gunplay but going back to Destiny 2 is just impossible now, it’s so oversaturated with menus and items and currencies and overlapping UIs. So I started a new Borderlands 3 play through which is going well.

UFC is a shame.

Plucky Squire is a great little game.

Randomly just finished the platinum on the first one and purchased the 40k/Back to the Future DLC. Day 1 purchase for me.

Great series, loved them all. Even the plot is interesting.

Basically expected a 4 player co-op with all 4 characters for the 4th in the series ever since the second game released.

Steamworld games and Islanders are all great little games, hopefully they keep it up.

Really shows how opinions differ as I think this is possibly the worst month they’ve ever had.

I’ve been playing Steamworld Build, another great Steamworld game. It’s like Anno-lite, but the gameplay loop is delightfully addictive.

I also picked up Blood and Truth cheap for the VR, and may give Endless Dungeon a try.
