Re: Street Fighter V Seems to Have Flopped Pretty Freakin' Hard

This is both good and bad.

It's good for games because it means this trend of getting less and less content in games with promises of free content will slowdown/stop. If Street Fighter can't pull it off its a risk.

Its bad because I actually love Street Fighter and don't won't to see this be its end BUT I would not buy an FPS with amazing mechanics and balance for full retail price if it only came with team death match and a training mission so why should I put up with that from street fighter

I agree the culture seems to be always about the latest thing and that puts pressure on us to complete that thing before the next big thing. It makes me sad to think someone that just brought a PS4 would never pick up Bloodborne because its old and the hype has died down.

That old gamer thing where the game says oh you can just complete the game but there is a way to complete complete the game (playstation access exlained that way better than I could) is also present and leads to the I'vd put 80 hrs into Fallout 4 but feel guilty because I've barely touched it does add to the chore of gaming.

I still love it though even if it does feel like work.

After street fighter V being all about the online I figured I needed to move the times so I decided to "Git Gud" at street fighter. I've been watching how to videos and playing ranked matches on Ultra Street Fighter IV on PS4. I won my first match last night against a 2,000 point player so I'm getting there... sort of. Theres a lot to learn and homework to do. I'm actually loving it shhh don't tell capcom I still want an arcade mode.

To relax after that I'm playing the PS4 HD port of FFVII so I can play along with the Game Informer games club.
