So let me get this straight thIs guy who is talking complete sense and is clearly a) switched on and b) talking from experiance. We're not going to listen to because gamers sent him away after they didn't like the ending to a game.

Is it really his fault that the internet wants watered down story telling that ties up every loose end rather than allowing creative people to take risks to try to deliver the best experiance so they can send off a trilogy of games they've dedicated years of their lives to create.

Great now all I'm going to hear about for months is that its not as good as the Dark Souls 1 clothing line ☺

I actually think it looks kind of cool I mean its not no mans sky levels of cool but I think the PS4 needs a good third person shooter. Its just a shame about the zombies.

Keep the battle system and the story and change everything else. Yes the dialouge has to go except "there is no getting off of this train!"

I get that donut drake was done with irony and not malice but I agree that ND games have matured above these kinds of jokes. It was the right call .

Its so annoying to miss out on a special edition because your at work and cannot sit there all day hitting the refresh button on your web browser only to see someone who's only pleasure is to have so they can sell it on at double the price.

@get2sammyb Don't get me wrong I respect push square for not taking the easy way out and slapping a 9 or 10 on the review.

I suppose what I was trying to say was I enjoyed the review without the score becuase it was refreshing.
It made me personally question whether we need scores and what value they add to the review for me on a personal level.

Reading this review it's funny how reviews are always more exciting with a score. I think its to do with trying to predict the score while reading the po's and con's.

However as this review proves you don't really need them, do you. Good review.

So far I've played Dark Souls 2 SOTFS (just took down Guardian Dragon), Bloodborne I taken down the first optional boss on NG+ working my way to the old hunters DLC. And I'm actual in the mood for some PGA Golf.. . I will wipe all traces of bosses from Dark Souls. Now watch this DRIVE!

I don't really play driving games that much anymore but the risk v reward of a good rally game is something I still really enjoy.

Less grinding = more fun for me

@Splat its almost as bad as my 40GB PS3 I couln't play sly 3 HD until I upgraded.

A huge Harddrive nothing more nothing less (even though I went with smaller chassis). I'm fed up with deleting re-installing games.

Any leak with this level on detail that doesn't mention HDMI 2.0 output is a little off in my opinon.

I really enjoyed zombiu but some of that was the gamepad. Still beating a zombie to death with a cricket bat never gets old.

Given Fromsoftware already worked on a PS4 game they could learn valuble lessons from, even if the xbox and playstation were of equal power I'd expect nothing less.

Traded in my N64 for a PS1 its turns out 18 years-ish later thats still paying dividends.

This just doesn't feel right to me you're dividing your userbase and making 3rd parties double their testing requirements. Its the kind of thing Nintendo does.

The only way this makes sense is if they add the vr processing box into the main unit. You would then technically have more processing power and its a 4k bluray anyway. Thats seems to me to be the smart move and still aligns with the leaks.

Good article for me the games are still worth my sub fee BUT I have stopped buying these smaller download only titles so it has changed my buying habbits.

I think the PS4.5 will just add the VR external box to the existing kit. I don't think they are as silly as Nintendo so won't do a "New 3DS".

So i suppose I too have faith they will do the right thing.

Its nice that this is availble as an option but I like the lore on each of the items so (almost) I'm happy to wait.

Staying with friends for most of the weekend but when I get back I have a beef to pick with The Rotten in Dark Souls 2 SOTFS and I'm also slowly working my way through Wolfenstien the new order.

POE is my least favourite part of the game. I put like 7 days into Destiny and I've done POE 3 times maybe 4. Hopefully this can win me over the problem is its getting harder to find people that play Destiny with. I really think Bungie need to get over this whole no match making on harder modes thing. People using reddit threads to play with randoms = match making.

I'm going to get through Dark Souls III and Uncharted 4 first but I will be picking this up in the near future.

That taken hunter gear is freakin awesome. Too bad its my least favourite class.

Oh I am so ready for this been playing Dark Souls 2 SOTFS which has quite literally beat the Bloodborne gun-ho playstyle out of me. Well almost I love a cheeky little attack when I should wait for the enimies first strike.

I'd also like to add that while the soul series is hard there are systems and incredible game design that underpins and offsets that difficulty. Its not like playing a normal game on hard mode.

If you've never played one you really should.

I owned this when I didn't have a memory card I know the first three hours really well! Good times.

Must resist new shiny things PSN Easter Sale left me with three new games to play two of which I haven't even touched yet.

Feel sorry for the people that lost their jobs today. Its a shame all these driving game studio's are gone because i think driving games will see a surge in popularity with VR.

I guess driving games are the new RTS.

Dark Souls III prepare to fry edition!

I kind of want to buy Knack now. I really need to know what all this sustained hype is about.

Knack is currently £5.79 in the psn sale surely the time is now! Why are people still buying it at retail.

The standard for the past few weeks Dark Souls II on PS4 and Twilight Princess on WiiU BUT there is a shock new entry in Wolfenstien The New Order.

I picked it up cheap in the easter sales and thought I'd just give it a quick try and it turns out its actually really good.

This advert looks like a scene from Zoolander and these people clearly have never played a video game in their lives, well maybe Wii sports.

Which brings me to my final point they're clearly using the Nintendo playbook to advertise to the masses here. I can only assume so when little Timmy says mum I want a playstation VR for Christmas she knows what it is but as a gamer not convinced on the whole VR thing this says "Dude, this isn't for but you mum may like it"

I'm excited to see these peps back with their own IP and it looks like its coming along rather well.

I'm interesred to see what they do because they're dropping players so we may get something meaty in the free update to bring us back but Dark Souls 3.

@Royalblues @Gamer83 @DerMeister When the game was released 7 years agao there were a number of news stories about how Sony was upset because they felt that the lead using the voice and likeness of Nolan North in an adventure game with shooting and platforming elements was to close to Nathan Drake. Its probably a reference to that.

Great games, some of my favs. I never played the DLC though and of course the guy who made the DLC for 2 famously went on the make gone home and every says the dlc is amazing but I never got round to it. Plus I only played infinite once and its in my collection already but that box art!

Its both interesting and wonderful that we live in a world where Sony's poster child is a mature man with grown up stuff to deal with. Where the person he needs to save is himself and not his kidnapped family member. In fact Elena is just as interesting if not more interesting than Nate. We've come a long way
