Want to hear a joke that's not funny anymore? Uncharted 4: A Thief's End has been delayed again. It's not funny because we're being deadly serious – and so is Sony. So serious, in fact, that Sony Computer Entertainment America president and CEO Shawn 'Crash Bandicoot t-shirt' Layden has personally posted the news on the official PlayStation Blog. Yeah, he won't be laughing either.

The game was originally due out near the end of 2015 before it was pushed back to the 26th and 29th April in North America and Europe respectively, and now, it's been postponed yet again. This time, it's apparently due to Sony gunning for a worldwide release, and it'll be giving itself more manufacturing time to make that a reality.

"As you know, Naughty Dog is wrapping up production on Uncharted 4: A Thief's End with the game on track to go gold and into production later this month. In an effort to meet the considerable worldwide demand, and to ensure that all gamers worldwide have the opportunity to play the game on day one, we have chosen to postpone the launch of the game by two weeks to allow for extra manufacturing time," Layden explains in his post, before revealing that the title will now launch worldwide on 10th May.

Thankfully, it's not that big of a delay, but bloody hell, we're still trying to come to terms with the fact that this is actually happening again. How hungry are you for Uncharted 4 at this point? Can you wait an extra week and a bit? Don't delay your thoughts in the comments section below.
