Great piece it's hard to comment because you've covered the suject so well. I agree with the comments that Battlefield 1 looks better than Infinite warfare based on the two short trailers and I won't get both but I'd buy the MW Remaster as a stand alone because I've always enjoyed it.

Just put the final nail in dark souls 3 coffin so I'll probably just keep playing that until Uncharted 4 arrives.

Great read. I think it takes a game to do it right like Hitman to won games over to new concepts. Hitman has opened my mind to the positives concepts of episodic releases.

If you look at the way MCU has started slow and built up taking its time, found its winning formula and is now dropping bombs like Civil War. We could get the gaming version of that (maybe telltale is the gaming version of that).

@get2sammyb I know how you feel because I gave in yesterday and picked up the starter pack. People have told me the game is actually more enjoyable in chunks because the levels are big and there is so much to discover and do. You need to play them multiple times and only having one level at a times works really well.

I used to buy GamesTM and read it bit by bit on my lunch breaks then phones got better. I expect its story shared by many still its sad to wave another magazine goodbye.

The real question is: Is it as bad as street fighter the movie? As long as its better I'll watch it.

1 was a bit ropey but 2 still holds up really well its a shame playstation owners may have never played it

Didn't GTAV and IV for that matter launch in April/May with not even half the ads and sell really well. Sony going a little OTT I have seen a bus without an uncharted advert since Monday.

IF they get the message right they are doing ok with VR its never going to be for everyone but the PS4K after tech experts have pulled it apart and stated the difference is minimal for AAA games to the point its almost pointless. They have there work cut out.

I like it but agree with article there are balancing issues and the diffculty comes from the wrong elements in combat. I like Dark Souls because I never feel cheated and death always feels like I was to blame, like I've got greedy and gone for one hit too many for example.

I wonder if it expects you to take time to learn the controls and grind to higher level before moving on.

I also found myself facing the wrong direction in this game because it lets you run away when locked on. The problem is its not so easy to turn around and attack as it is to turn and run so I died a lot by getting hit in the back.

All in all I liked it but I want to see them release a beta with adjusted balance and controls.

Really happy to see R&C do well. I'll pick it up after I've finushed Uncharted 4.

With Dark Souls 3 followed by Uncharted 4 I'm not bothered cause I probably won't play them before junes games come around.

@kyleforrester87 I get what you're saying its just a little bit too much like go get the yellow key card so you can access this area for me.

My biggest issue with Destiny is that its a power fantasy that never pays off. You strife to become more powerful only to do harder content so you never feel the benfit of your power. Its like a carrot hanging just in front of your nose you can walk for hours but you never get closer to that sweet juicy carrot.

Given the fact this studio always puts out high quality games I wouldn't actually be supprised if they pushed out the release window to allow them to push the new PS4K to its limits. I'd consider that a good delay what worries me is lazy corner cutting PS4/PS4K "modes". Thats why I won't pre-order any games post September I'll wait for user feedback.

@gingerfrog I think the acid test will be the Oct/Dec release window lets see how many big third party games get put back to september. For example Mafia III having a 7th October release date suggest its not supporting the Neo.

Everyone I know is either confused because they don't understand what sony is trying to do or angry and sony has scored a bit of an own goal with its silence.

All Microsoft has to do is swoop in with backwards compatability, better online services, better free monthly games oh and we will never split our user base or force an upgrade on you part cycle and it will gain some of that lost ground from the worst console launch since the Sega Saturn.

Never got round to this on xbox and I do enjoy a bit of Nolan North I'll stick this on the wishlist

Its fun to watch thats a fair and valid point but being fun to watch doesn't make me want to buy it. Its a product at the end of the day it needs to shift units. Thats the bitter business reality that Street Fighter finds itself in and Capcom isn't really helping it right now. Unless its plan is to bank dat youtube and twitch money.

Not sure if I like the floating swords thing its weird they just follow behind the player but don't move. I'm being nit picky though the game looks awesome.

And it was the Witcher 3 that inspired us to do the "Unicorn Bromance" cut scene.

You can't beat bloodbornes art and atmosphere the story is well delivered and the weapons are really unique. I'm loving dark souls 3 but I'm only 2 hours in.

I've deleted it from my HD there is nothing to do with the credits you earn and all the cool skins don't unlock until lvl 40/50. Its a grind to get there made worse by the paper thin depth of the game itself.

El Shaddai mixed with shadow of the colossuss SOLD! The art style reminds like El Shaddai for sure well maybe its a little less over the top.

The mugs really cool. I think they should do a matching teapot. Nothing better than sitting down with a souls games a hot pot of tea safe in the knowledge you are good where you are for the next couple of hours.

I'll go knight (again) I'm a sword and shield get in close kind of a player. I like to hit hard and move fast.

IF Dark Souls doesn't arrive tomorrow I'll give this a go. Matchmaking on lvl 41 PoE is a big plus for me.

Wake me up when they reinvent the FPS as we know it in Titanfall 4 which I'm sure will be amazing.

OlliOlli 2 was one of my fav PS plus Games last year even though I didn't have the skills it was still so much fun to fail to beat a level. I'm going to keep an eye out for this.
