If you have 1000 and add 100% it’s 2000, add 200% is 3000 etc, so 700% increase is 8000.

1000 to 8000 is 700% just sayin!

Yes we realise keeping them online may be expensive but what many are asking for is for an offline mode once the servers are shut off. Surely that wouldn’t be that expensive in most instances?

Sony are without doubt diluting the value of the brand and that’s a shame after they’ve built it up so solidly over such a long time.

As the article says it would be nice if they actually communicated with their fans for a change. Generations ago they used to do this, now they just seem like faceless money collectors.

My thoughts exactly, Sony need to work out if they’re in or out. I think it’s only fair they tell their fans what their intentions and/or strategy is… These decisions make me think Sony are confused and not even they know the direction they’re taking at the moment.

Such a shame, I was secretly hoping we’d get a Forza motorsport one day on ps5, at least we got horizon though…

I love new hardware and am usually an early adopter but for PS6 I think I’ll probably wait a few years until upgrading. (unless I give in to hype and fomo 😂)

The generational gaps are so minor these days and cross generations last years as we’ve seen with PS4/5.

It’s not a massive deal in itself but yes it should be disclosed in my opinion.
