Totally agree with No1.

AC2 had such good set pieces and was a massive improvement over the original.

My main reason for staying with physical over digital is the fact you can recoup some value by reselling. With prices skyrocketing as they are that’s becoming even more appealing for me to stay physical yet with a digital future the loss of that option means gaming will become infinitely more expensive.

Here you go Sony:

Pros - Switch 2 hardware looks great with hdr, vrr, 120fps, 4k, mouse control etc. It’s even priced ok. Most games are SP and not live service which suits me perfectly. Metroid Prime 4.

Cons - Switch 2 games are priced horrendously meaning I’ll buy less on S2 than I did S1 and probs more on PS5. Game chat is 20 years too late. Game key cards are the worst idea since square wheels. Nintendo are showing their greed by putting shareholders ahead of their customers. That rarely ends well.

Just my 2 cents…

Lost interest in this when I realised it’s not SP.

I definitely appreciate being able to buy individual games on ps5 vs the subscription only Nintendo option.

If duskbloods was single player game that would’ve been a system seller.

As it is it’s just a disappointment, for me anyway.

Interesting art but is probably not for me.

Exactly why I don’t think we need a PS6 for many years yet.

I’ve always seen both my PlayStation and Nintendo consoles as the perfect compliment to each other.

Having both has always provided me with all the gaming I need and don’t look at it like “this is my primary console, this is my secondary console.” They’re both just there providing what I need.

@OorWullie actually that did look quite cool when I saw the mouse controls. Think it looked a lot better than ARMS anyway!

The game pricing is insane and double what I pay for Switch 1 games. If there's no discounts to be found I'll end up only buying the mainline Nintendo games and everything else on PS5.

Metroid Prime is probably the only game I'd even consider at those inflated prices...

Metroid Prime 4 at 4k 60fps (and mouse control) sold it for me. The Duskbloods and Donkey Kong also looked sweet!

I'm sure my PS5 will love having this as company sat next to it!

Looking forward to seeing more on switch 2. I’ve always gamed with a Nintendo/Playstation combo so this’ll sit nicely next to my PS5!

It’s a shame they haven’t strayed too far from the usual Ubisoft open world formula.

The reason I like outlaws so much is partly because they mixed it up and added the reputation system.

The graphical improvement in generations is so minor these days the PS5 may as well hang around until 2030-35 when some kind of meaningful improvement can be shown.

With Covid and long dev cycles I’m one of those that feels like this generation hasn’t even properly kicked off yet…
