I agree it would be good if chadley was cut. The amount of times he calls you on that stupid device to say something meaningless was annoying. Would be good if they focused on QoL improvements too like faster climbing, less janky traversal etc.

Is a shame the bungie deal has probably tempered their enthusiasm for a deal like this. Is a shame as an WB acquisition would bolster their first party output which has been terrible this gen.

Wow that took me back 25 years. Enjoyed combat evolved but got bored from halo 2.

Seeing this has surprised me as I wasn’t interested before but might give this a shot cos nostalgia. Plus the graphics look sweet.

If it ships on the actual disc and at a decent price will be a bonus.

I would argue these weren’t chasing fads, there was nothing in the market like them at the times they released for them to chase. They were first to market and created the fads.

Ironic considering the devs and publishers have played a big part in keeping the cross gen going with last gen releases.

I’d much rather have a high capacity battery. Sony controllers always perform badly in that area. My switch pro controller probably lasts twice as long.

The constant drivel the commenters used to say as you were racing I think was the reason I fell off the crew. Was so cheesy and unwelcome. Though there’s a good racing game in there if you mute your tv! 😂

Nice to know I’ll be able to play this in the future if I decide to though it’s a decent game it was a bit too “dude bro” for my liking and a good example of Ubisoft trying to be cool, making it very uncool.

Is there an actual ps5 physical release?

Just had my date with Tifa in rebirth and enjoying picking this up again after I dropped it last year. Is a superb game and I have full faith in the 3rd entry when it arrives in 2030!

Sucker punch have done a superb job with this series so kudos to them. As much as I like these games I hope they don’t become a “ghost” studio now pumping out game after game like so often happens. Their next game being something different would be nice.

I wonder if ps4 will still be supported when ps6 comes out and for the first time we’ll have a 3 gen cross gen lol.

I’m happy with my pro. The hardware isn’t a problem, I just want more Sony first party releases. The company know games take longer to make but haven’t invested enough in their studios to negate that.

The only thing that will get me interested in a ps6 in 2027 is the potential handheld.

Combat evolved was the only halo I enjoyed and I didn’t get bored with. Not sure if I’ll be in to this but interested to see what they’ve done with it.

I’m not massively into remasters but both infamous and sly I’d be down for.

So with an even more capable console meaning even longer game development cycles does that mean we’ll get a PS first party title every 18/24 months instead of the 12 we have for ps5?

In my opinion Sony need to invest heavier into their studios to be able to have a more regular game release cadence.

This is a good example of how this gen has gone for Sony so far. Demon souls came out at ps5 launch and only just now are that studio staffing up for their next game, wow.

It’s now we should be expecting their next release if anything. Madness.

This played like a dream on ps5 pro already so doubt I’ll bother to check it out at nearly 100gb update!

Considering how long cross-gens are and will likely be even longer for PS5/6 I’ll probably keep my pro for quite a while before grabbing the PS6.

That being said if there’s a new portable for PS6 I may bite sooner.

Still can’t believe they paid that crazy price for them. Felt like a knee jerk reaction to Microsoft’s Activison deal. Almost everyone except Sony seemed to think it was a good idea and time hasn’t changed those opinions.

To think of not just Sony’s failed live service games, bungies live service acquisition is much worse and larger in scale.

How much are they going to spend (waste?) chasing this dream?

Just reminding me I have to get back to finishing Tsushima before picking this up. For some reason dropped off that and never returned though it was good, I think open world fatigue kicked in.

@KidRisky I agree. If I had gamepass I’d be ok with the middle tier. I’m in no rush to play a new game day 1 (99% of the time) and would be happy to wait a year.

Yet some still talk about the “free” games they get every month 🤦‍♂️
