What I don’t understand is why some games get away with being reported on about things like this while others get singled out and picked on.

Brilliant game second only last year to donkey Kong for me.

Completed it when it originally came out and had no interest in the remake until I saw the trailer and have to say I’m now tempted. Might grab it in a sale…

Can’t MS see what a joke they’re making of themselves? If you look holistically at all the things they’ve said versus the things they’ve done including the 180’s it’s like a badly written soap opera.

Their lack of direction is embarrassing to the point that I’m embarrassed for them.

Yeah the Galaxy movie was weak (with the exception of mini Bowser) but for some reason with Zelda being live action I have a small amount of optimism it'll end up better.

Love seeing Capcom back on top as well as Konami back in the game.

The thing is xbox has struggled to compete with Playstation over 4 generations with only the 360 coming close. However since then they've bought a massive amount of developers and IP and it puts them in a position to genuinely compete with Sony.

Not only that buy Gamepass clearly isn't the cash cow they thought it'd be but they have the output to make xbox desirable if they go exclusive. Whether additional sales made from doing that would cover and exceed sales lost from playstation who knows but they're probably the numbers MS is looking at.

FFS... those first 4 words of the title got my heart racing.

@Dalamar no it really feels like Capcom are in a league of their own this gen.

MS obviously just (incorrectly) assumed so many people would sign up for GP if they added COD it'd offset their losses from sales.

That never materialised and now the cracks definitely seem to be growing.

Sony are so confusing in how they invest in things and drop them so quickly such as these studios, PSVR2, Vita etc. They're masters at wasting money.

@DennisReynolds I agree, story’s in games are usually laughable anyway to the point I skip most cutscenes and dialogue these days rather than listen to a load of waffle.

Not played crimson desert yet but for me the lack of story work probably be a bonus.

Yep the new xbox looks like part of the plan to get xbox console players over to PC for inclusion into Windows gaming...

Who gives a crap if there’s some leaks a week early. Everyone will have it and see everything in a few of days anyway so what does it matter. Those that don’t want spoilers will just have to not watch those videos/read those articles, it’s very easy!
