Re: GTA 6 Trailer 2 Is Finally Here, PS5 Graphics Are Jaw-Dropping

@HonestHick yeah console gamers moving to PC is a bit of a scary thought I have to admit.

Ironically I think it’s mostly down to Sony and Microsoft causing that. Sony releasing first party on PC, MS going heavy with gamepass and basically leaving the hardware race. Then you have the increase in console hardware and software it’s understandable people are choosing PC instead.

Re: Talking Point: What Should Ghost of Yotei's Biggest PS5 Improvements Be?

I think for me I’ve realised recently I’ve been enjoying more linear/condensed games like wukong, expedition 33 etc.

I know I’m only one person but open worlds have got a bit boring. The devs have such a bit area to fill content so of course there’s got to be copy/paste content to help fill it. That’s where I’m a bit fatigued.

The likes of horizon, spider man, ghost etc are all brilliant but it’s the open world they’re built in I’m a bit tired of.

@TenakaF yeah thanks but I don’t know if you replied to the wrong person? I was talking about perfect dark.

Also not sure if your comment about “consoles stagnating or in decline” is massively accurate. Nintendo’s current console is the second best selling ever at over 150m units. The PS5 is tracking next to the PS4 at a much higher price and having launched with the covid supply shock. It’s only Xbox that’s doing badly in the hardware race.

Re: Opinion: If You're on the Fence, Consider Buying a PS5 Now Before the Prices Inevitably Rise

@BrintaPap this is how I feel.

Sony, Nintendo, Microsoft are all making massive profits and it seems they are using the "tariff" excuse and rising development costs (that's been happening for decades and isn't new) to justify increasing prices again. They could easily help the consumer by not doing so. However I understand they are a business and greed is real in business.

For their sake I hope the increase in profit they get per sale negates the lower volume of sales. If not I'm sure the prices will come down. It feels like they're testing the water of what price people will accept.

I'm like you and gratfeully can afford it but I'm not paying for something that I feel is bad value.

Re: Indiana Jones PS5 Is Selling Faster Than on Xbox and PC, Claims Analysts

@AhmadSumadi exactly, he’s so iconic he should be seen! I think the devs realised that hence why they at least show him in gameplay cinematics…

I played it just passed the Vatican level (no idea how far that is into the game) and don’t think I saw anything up to that point that couldn’t have been done in 3rd person.

Anyway I have to get back to a game that poops all over Indy in my opinion, CO: Expedition 33!
