LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga has a new gameplay trailer, and it's packed with grin-inducing gags. If you don't already know, this massive LEGO adventure covers all nine mainline Star Wars films. It's got the potential to be pretty special for fans of the franchise.
Unfortunately, The Skywalker Saga still doesn't have a defined release date following its recent delay. It's still coming to both PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 at some point in Spring 2022.

I’m so mad. Spring 2022!?!? And still no solid release date. Trailer felt thrown together honestly. Makes you wonder what the hell they’ve been doing for the last 18 months (pandemic or not)... I’m done being strung along and let down by this game. Disappointed.
Yeah disappointed with the constant delays. Though still a day one purchase for me. Does look good, and the open-world style planets sound fun.
Spring 2022? Wasn't it supposed to come out in Dec 2020? What have they been doing in the meantime? Please don't tell me the new gens have held up the release of the PS4/XB1 versions?
Lol I remember when I was excited for this game to come out Spring 2021😶🌫️ Oh well 2022 is shaping up to be a packed year
@thehappyaerithch yeah, but I’m just so disappointed due to the lack of communication from Tt games and now another delay. From that trailer there seems to be barely any improvement over the Lego Force Awakens game that came out five years ago. It might not be a good representation of what the game is but that’s their job to show us that. It just feels like they aren’t bothered. Maybe it’s time to give the Lego license to another studio that does at least pretend to care.
GIVE. IT. TO. MEEEEE!
The reason for the delay is because they were waiting for the last two films to be completely re-written because they were s**t!
Joking aside, this looks ace.
A whole year delay... but there has been other stuff I've played so no thumb twiddling.
Happy I managed to bag one of the Han frozen in carbonite steelbooks with extra gumph.
@ApostateMage I liked The Last Jedi - only decent film in the sequel trilogy imo (well, best/most memorable scenes - Throne room, Cait). Force Awakens was a poor mans ANH and Rise of Skywalker was complete and utter trash. JJ was a huge mistake on Disney’s part.
@fR_eeBritney Honestly I'm not really disappointed by delays anymore because
1. That usually, USUALLY, means a better game
2. It means more time to play more of my backlog!
And this game still looks great, even if it's been delayed a whole bunch.
@fR_eeBritney jesus, 3 awful takes on the sequels in one hit 😂
The game will be in your hands in no time. I’m sure there are plenty others to tide you over in the meantime
@fR_eeBritney I lost a lot of faith in TT (Fusion?) with the hideous DS ports that they slung on the Vita after the beautiful PS2 quality games on the PSP.
That said, I really liked Avengers and Star Wars: TFA on the Vita as they were from the 3DS only era - only the Vita versions looked better and seemed to play better?
I'm looking forward to this but a delay of a year and a half seems a tad excessive but I think I've found the reason why:

Everyone's left...?
I'm really hoping they don't just touch up the TFA engine and apply it to the other 8 films... that's what the trailer looked like.
Shame the game has been delayed yet again to Spring 2022...hopefully the final product will be worth the wait.
@sanderson72 That does explain alot, thanks for sharing!
