Horizon is in the current dealmania sale, just under 50,euros.
It has been on sale a few times according to platprices and always at the current sale price.
Also as I mentioned in a previous comment, the best deal in the current sale is Galaxy kart at around four euros. There is a demo so try and see if your VR legs can handle it.

Personally I’m swimming* in Psvr2 games, plus having recently signed up to PS Plus Premium means even more of them.
The last six months have been crazy and next month we have Wanderer and Hitman both releasing on the same day.
PS. Bargain in the recent sale is Galaxy Kart for £3 (for PS Plus peeps).

*That reminds me I must buy Subside.

I know neither of you are interested in trophies and such but the first comment in PowerPyx’s trophy guide gave a great summation of their time with the game.

I haven’t bought any remasters of games that were playable on current gen, I fail to see the point.
However I have purchased remastered/ported PSVR1 games and I see value in those ports but clearly Sony do not...seriously where is Wipeout psvr2?

Anyway, a few multi platform VR devs have stated that their PSVR version is outselling the Meta version so perhaps Powerwash would have sold well on PSVR but I guess we will never know, which for me personally is their loss as I already have too many great VR games to play.

Playing Valkyrie Chronicles on PS4 for the first time despite owning the PS3 version which I never got round to playing.

I didn’t know there was a Stalker trilogy patch inbound which is nice especially as it is on my to buy list.
As for Deus Ex. Very annoying when there isn’t any stat provided to show whether you have voided a trophy or not. Crazy how basic and easy to provide information is absent.

It would be nice if they ported Skyrim to psvr2.
I would actually buy it again, for the fourth time (all on PlayStation consoles).
Of course if Oblivion supports psvr2 then I would buy that, probably not otherwise tbh.

Witcher 3 PS5. Clearing up the dlc trophies.
Plus GT7, I was also taken back by the hour weekly challenge then shocked again by how little the race winnings were.
Watching Death on the Nile and tempted to reinstall AC Origins.

Indeed. As Ron B would say “I don’t believe you”.

Arcade paradise vr is just under a tenner plus the three game bundle (inc tin hearts and last worker) is around 16 quid.

Playing RE4 remake in VR which is pretty fantastic, eclipsing RE7 VR1 for me whilst it isn’t as scary it is consistent in its quality.
Anyway just completed the second run which was knife and pistol only which was really good fun in VR, dual wielding works great.
Now onto a Pro rocket launcher run.

Oops, yes 9£ or 10 bucks/euros.

Have you tried using the toggle grip hybrid option in the Village settings? I had to use that because I too was dropping the gun all the time.

Shame it doesnt include a remaster (just a port would do) of Rush of blood, then I would have seen some value in this remake.
But hey I'm sure there is an audience somewhere and I hope they enjoy it as it is a good game....just be sure that nobody makes it out alive.

Just finishing up Thief, not bad but certainly not great either although I guess we have to take what we are given in the stealth genre.
Also watched For a few dollars more so itching to replay RDR2 but I will have to resist as my backlog is crazy.
Up next is RE village in VR and probably puzzling places to calm down.

@colonelkilgore I quite enjoyed Dead Space 3, played it in coop, there are coop trophies.

Great to see people mention Hitman PSVR2, that was also my standout from the show and I jumped up in delight when that was shown.
Midnight Walk was also a standout, I really enjoyed Lost in Random so I expect Midnight walk will be great with bags of charm.
Metro looked great as well although it wasn't a surprise and I'm trying to avoid seeing too much footage.

Ghost of Y was the obvious flat highlight.

And Hitman PSVR2, the show was worth it for that.
£9 or 10 buckaroos.
Out in December and trust me to have just plugged in my PSVR1 and started it this last week.

Hermen pops up at the end and says "One last thing, we've heard all the shouts about the price of the Pro so we have decided to include the stand."
The crowd goes wild.

That aside, fingers crossed for RE9 with VR2 support. I do expect lots of "built from the ground up" BS for the unnecessary remasters of Horizon and Days Gone.

Apparently Hermen has arranged a landfill site already, an undisclosed location possibly in New Mexico.
Let the hunt begin.

Slightly off topic but gamescom related, apparently Atomfall (Rebellion) will have (to quote Xbox) hands on experiences.

I quite like frog games although I'm not very good at them, I manage the road bit okay but normally a turtle submerges whilst I'm waiting for a log.

Anyway based on that picture, it is official, Sony have lost the plot.

Sony will be praying that it is a gaas giant rather than the black hole that Concord is forecast to be.

Microsoft, sorry Xbox needs to buy up some media companies just so they can compete.

Also bought Towers n Powers with 90% at £1.39.
It is a VR tower defence game similar to PixelJunk Monsters.

Bought Stilt (VR2) which at £1.59 has a massive (word of the day) 90% off, Shirley a misprice.

Nice. I held off buying this until a VR edition was announced.
Along with this announcement last night at the UploadVr show, a game called Cold VR was also announced. It is a Super hot clone which normally would be a bit off but this is fine as seeing that Superhot doesn't seem to be coming to psvr2.

And as Kidfunk says where is power wash? I suspect that is locked up in some exclusive deal but I'm waiting for that.

The writing was on the wall when they introduced the product with a Blog post, everything since then has been half arsed.
Thankfully third party seems to be carrying the product pretty well.
A shame overall and people at Sony involved with this should be ashamed.

Hitman is only on VR1, which I've put away. I am using VR2 though and really enjoy it, just finished Switchback (Shirley Sony would have the intelligence to remaster Rush of blood for when the new Until Dawn comes out .... or perhaps).
Also playing Vertigo 2, GT7, Puzzling Places. Yet to start the Resident evils. I totally understand the frustration with Sony and they are doing their best to convince me to go PC next gen but I'm trying to forget that and enjoy VR2 for what the 3rd party are bringing to the table.

One of the locales has a very bleak feel, clearly based on a location not a million miles away from here (I won't spoil it because it is quite stunning). Perhaps more of a winter game because of that one location but hey sometimes you need to that something to get away from the current heatwave (joke, for us at least).

I quite liked DA:I and would think that it still holds up quite well today although it is nearly a decade since I completed it.
PS not as difficult as the guides would suggest, imo, although not a cake walk either.

Dragon Age looked far better in gameplay whilst the trailer looked awful, however the jury is still out as I'm not Bioware as we know and love even exists anymore. We shall see.
Also not a fan of all this purple / magenta in games, obviously someone has carried out aesthetic studies but it is getting quite boring now.

Behemoth for me. Great to finally see some gameplay and it was far better than I expected. Plus lots of post SoP roundups with various youtubers and the odd media outlet (Eurogamer).
Aliens looked good as well, fingers crossed for that one.

Sad to hear as I quite like JC and Mad Max was very good despite what George Miller might think.
I also recently completed Generation Zero which I enjoyed despite the negative reviews. They have supported that game pretty well with a patch for 60fps when played on ps5 (it is still a PS4 build). The game is on PS Extra is anyone wishes to give it a go.

The problem is that the longer Sony take between communications the higher the expectations are, you only have to read the PushSq staff editorial before the "show" to see how rampant the expectations were.

And the less said about opening with a ten minute cgi for a (on the face of it) bog standard arena shooter the better.

I think Hermen will go down as the worst CEO of Sony, the company seems to lack direction and focus (except for that moolah). Hyperbole at the moment most definitely but time will tell.

@colonelkilgore It is interesting to me how many people including yourself are still playing PS3 games, it really was the best generation. Now we have the opposite, the best hardware but the worst games.
Sony gimme that PS3 emulator.

Looks great and far better than what I envisaged which is a rare thing to say these days about games.
I do think that the scope of this project perhaps ballooned which explains the quite lengthy delay it received last year, but I think we will all be thankful for that.
Highlight of the show for me.

Much as it pains me to say but I won't be buying this without VR2 support, I know I will be missing out but so be it.
Perhaps if it is ported to PC then I can play it in VR, with mods.

Sad but good to see VR2 supporting comments on the Blog, shame Sony don't read them.

Behemoth looks great, as does Alien although we need a bit more gameplay on that.
Absolutely pathetic that Astro isn't a hybrid especially as the gameplay looked basically like Rescue Mission, thankfully many people seem to be voicing their opinion on the Blog, just a shame Sony doesn't read it. Perhaps if it comes to PC then people can mod it. I did say in a previous comment that the announcement of the PC adapter was the death knell, well this announcement is them taking a whiz on the grave.

As for the rest of the show, not too bad although ten minutes of Concord cgi wasnt necessary, they could have just say "Now imagine viewers another Overwatch clone"
