Fingers crossed for PSVR2 support and at release, or at least announced that it is coming so people can ensure their first playthrough is the correct one. Plus PSVR2 support for RE7 would be grand as well, just a simple port would do (for me), dualsense is fine.
@colonelkilgore I always think it is good to be a little behind with RE as they often do gold editions, decent dlc and other things like VR. But I shake my head at someone who is 25+ years behind.
Well, they've already cut QA out of the development cycle so it is difficult to see what else they could cut to shorten cycles. Joking btw, love you Todd (gimme Skyrim VR2 please).
@AdamNovice I think we are talking about the same Sony, I should have mentioned First Party like I did in the initial Housemarque article. But hey agree to disagree and all that.
God dammit. Sony seems to be doing everything except releasing (new) games these days or putting any effort into VR (ports etc..). Reminds me of Xbox and their controllers....want a new game? Here have a controller/comic.
Fingers crossed for PSVR2 although that would be highly unlikely and tbh it is starting to feel like if you want any First party games in VR then get a PC. The June showcase can't come soon enough. (Apologies for the moan, the Monday blues have taken over )
After the complete mishandling of Mafia 3 trophies I won't touch another Hanger 13 game. First the game was released broken, then fixed, then broken and finally abandoned. See the thread on psnprofiles for more info, that thread is now many many pages deep, people have even created patch regression tools for that one blasted game.
After eight years since my first trophy, I have finally managed to click with Helldivers. Also Midnight Suns, Puzzling Places and Epic Rollercoaster (I actually don't think it is THAT bad although still would have preferred Rush of Blood vr2).
Can't wait for a new splinter cell and if Ubisoft has any sense (they don't) they will do a season pass which includes a port (ubi don't remaster) of Blacklist. Blacklist was released just a few months before the PS4 and it is crazy that it hasnt been ported.
@colonelkilgore I dread to see it, the last roadmap was dire but they did seem to rip it up and start again (I say rip it up and start again ). Please Sony for the love of God show the PSVR2 some respect.
This is why I couldn't understand the Devs championing the ABK deal, as the more studios MS has the less reliant they are on third party to boost the gamepass catalog.
How Phil, Matt and Aaron avoided being part of the 1900 ex employees is beyond me. But hey not content with failing in the console space they now want to fail in the handheld space. Absolutely bizarre. Of course the crazy shilling fanbase and shilling media is partly to blame, I still remember the end of first year report by the dimwits on IGN, if I remember rightly they gave the PS5 after Returnal, Astro, Demons Souls a B- grade and gave the "we have nothing" Xbox a B. Bonkers.
Just finishing up House of Ashes, pretty good even if a bit dark and less than likeable characters. Also started Tales of Arise.
@Darude84 That is a great deal and I would have jumped at that but unfortunately I live in the U.K., thanks for posting though and I will wait for a similar deal over here....I'm in no rush though as I'm still enjoying PSVR1.
@Zeke68 I actually think it was most likely the exact opposite in that she disagreed with Jim and Hermen and they said "Listen Connie it is our way or the highway" Obviously I could be wrong and it wouldn't be for the first time.
NBA 2K is to PS Plus what MLB is to Game pass, only not quite day one. A bit slim pickings this month (wasn't Lego DC on PS Plus a while back?) but I will play RE3 and possibly Midnight suns as I have heard that is good.
@Shushibda Indeed, the 80s were the best and one of the reasons I dislike GTA5 was because the radio stations just didn't appeal to me. I do like to just cruise around listening to some block rocking beats (90s stuff was pretty good as well although the decline was clearly audible). Again, personal opinion.
Wasn't too interested in this game initially as it seemed too rage inducing, for me at least, but since they have introduced an easier mode I'm quite looking forward to it.
Hope everyone affected lands on their feet. I know it is popular to blame Jim for all of this but I also think Hermen is equally responsible, if not more so....can't wait for that Horizon remaster. I won't go on about my previous psvr2 comment but I would have thought the easy money would have been to move London Studio over to a PSVR1 port studio as I'm sure many PSVR2 owners would gladly pay to play their beloved PSVR1 games again, not to mention new to PSVR games as many PSVR1 are still unbeaten.
I suspect Gamertag will lose his bet. Before the PC announcement I would have put it at one or two this year but now I think zero which is sad, even upsetting. I hope to be wrong as it has put me right off purchasing one until more PSVR1 first party ports(hell even one would be nice) or announcements (I did hear that Twisted Metal might be coming as a hybrid game).
@thefourfoldroot1 I hope you are correct because when I read this story my immediate thought was "oh dear first party software support looks even more unlikely now". Unlike many people I don't see the positives from this (for ps5 players) although I guess it might be the cost of the headset down in the long term so there is that. I hope I am wrong with all the negative thoughts.
The PS5 trophies are a mess so I will be playing the PS4 version. Anyway just watched a digital foundry review and John states "we look at every version except PS4" Noooooooooo!
PS. Love all the crazy trophies which will require multiple runs so trophy hunters will still be playing it even after the PS6 is released (possibly).
If it cuts down on the crazy number of stupid Xbox fanboys on YouTube/Twitter/X/whatever then I'm all for it.
Joking aside I wonder if it is why Major Nelson left, he probably thought "oh no way am I dealing with those obsessed fanboys...I'm outta here" Pete Hines thoughts would also be interesting.
@colonelkilgore The crazy thing is that without ABK this new strategy might not be happening, possibly. And to think that Jim was really trying to save XBox from themselves. Again, possibly.
Well I think we all know now that the narrative "Gamepass is profitable" was a bit of a porkie although I think we all suspected it. Anyway sad day as competition is needed although Sony hasn't had competition for quite some time, and it shows.
@thefourfoldroot1 What about Flight simulator on PSVR2? That would be awesome.
How this didn't get a PS5 release, therefore supporting PSVR2 for years to come is beyond me, Some of the decisions made by PlayStation these days are truly baffling.
@thefourfoldroot1 Apparently you can play it solo but it is a tough game, however you can level up ala Souls genre so hopefully you can overcome the evil within.
@ztpayne7 Yeah I didn't mean to derail the topic. And yes I did see that Sonys incompetence had struck again and the Devs said something about it not being on their bingo card. Still it seems to be in a fairly good state (only from what I've seen and I've yet to play it) although hotus support seems a bit broken, however there may be other bugs so waiting for the patch might be best. I did hear that both dualsense and sense controllers are supported.
It actually does look kind of fun. In other news, Ultrawings 2 stealth dropped on the store yesterday. Looks pretty great (as the original was) and a decent price of £16. Hopefully PushSq will do a review, there is loads of content in the game so I don't expect it anytime soon.
Not interested and it doesn't need a remaster. Now Until Dawn Rush of Blood needs a remaster for PSVR2, not to mentioned that even the current version (PSVR1) has issues on PS5.
It is interesting because I was reading a community post on PS Access's YouTube channel and the comments were mostly pretty negative which is surprising because their comment section is normally very Pro PS and positive. Imo I think PS players have reached a tipping point with all these remasters, GaaS and lack of a showcase/roadmap. It is going to be interesting if the Horizon remaster is true because that will really cause a scene.
With regards to the TLoU2 remaster, I actually think a £10 upgrade is okay whereas the Part1 remake I did consider a cash grab.

Re: Dragon's Dogma 2 Slated for Adding Sinister PS5 Microtransactions at Launch
Next up is a patch which adds dialogue to your pawns, "Sir (or Madam) should buy a multipass at the Inn".
(Repeated every five minutes, per pawn).
And then every so often, possibly midfight, all the pawns get together and chant "Multipass!".

I bought it, and I don't even own a PSVR2 (yet!).
Re: Dragon's Dogma 2 Has Over 1,000 Unique NPCs, and If They Die, They're Dead
Capcom should do their own take on Rainbow Six Vegas terrorist hunt and have a counter on the screen, "NPC Hunt".
I miss RS Vegas, shame they never ported them.

Also Puzzling places, the 400 piece puzzles are no joke.
Possibly starting Outer Worlds.
Re: Xbox's Pentiment Is Out Now on PS5, PS4
@colonelkilgore Trophies but due to a parity clause there is no platinum and the trophy score adds up to a 1000 rather than the usual ~1300
