Re: Some PS5 Owners Might Be Paying More Than Others on PS Store

Considering that they put the most expensive version front and centre of the games store page and that you have to find and click on the “ … “ option (not obvious to a lot of customers) to find out the price of the base version I think we should all be treating this with a lot of cynicism.

Re: Battlefield 6 (PS5) - The Best Battlefield in Over a Decade

It’s the maps that are the only thing that’s stopping me from getting. The ones in the beta were flat and uninteresting. Trying to get a friend to jump into the beta and the first map he tried he got hammered. we both sunk over 1000 hours into the flawed 2042 but it at least it had some really fun maps. It concerns me that none of the maps In the BF6 beta had anything memorable happening within them that made me want to tell friends “this is a battlefield map!”.

Re: The Finals Update Brings New Time-Limited 'Heaven or Else' Game Mode

The updates to the classes are a lot better now than back around season 4. The middle class have a gun (P90) with a fire rate that matches what the small class has. Close combat fights between small and middle were very much one sided affairs if your guns firing output was slow. The heavy class have a portable healing station which can be picked up and reused elsewhere (as with other devices). The game looks so much better with the new palette of colours. You really see things stand out more on the casino map. The walls are a darker colour which makes everything else look sharper. Positive steps forward I feel. Just a shame that it’s still a massive grind for a certain trophy

Re: Poll: What Review Score Would You Give Hollow Knight: Silksong?

Big disappointment, look I like hard games and I know that if I can’t do a certain section I need to either take a break and come back with a clear head or I need to explore other areas and look for upgrades to my toolset. This game is not fun because of how you are constantly taken back to the last resting spot after a death that it becomes repetitive and boring having to retrace your steps to get back to your death spot only to die again. I have not got the patience or perseverance with this as I just can’t stand having to take the same route back to the spot I messed up over and over again.

Re: Revised PS5 Pro Model Reportedly Coming Soon in Europe, But Don't Expect Much

People don’t want big bulky consoles, I really don’t understand why Sony went ahead with the design of the PS5. You place it on a table on its side and the thing looks ugly due to the base being bigger. You can’t slot it in narrow spaces so it has to be in more open spaces. They must have been thinking this console should be a focal point of everyone’s room when people tend to go along a more minimalist approach in how they have their rooms

Hollow Knight 2, going slowly with this one, taking it all in. The atmospheric music is excellent!

Haven’t touched Helldivers 2 in over two years so coming back and seeing all the new things has been fun. Still not a game where I feel I can play for hours. It’s more two or three dives and then I’m off.

Been playing a tonne of AoE:2DE over the past months since release. 700 hours strong including the plat since buying. I’m teasing myself to go full 100% completion. Some of the missions requiring you to complete within a time period seem impossible to do considering you’re using a joypad to make quick decisions and commands
