Arachnophobia sufferers certainly need to be pre warned about this game. I suffer daily with mental health issues so I’m very much desensitised to spiders now but if I played this ten years ago I would have probably needed a straitjacket.

I’m done with the series, it never felt like a game that evolved other than the tech side creating bigger set pieces each release. At its core, it was stagnant and you felt like you were playing the same game each time only with better graphics/animations.

Very good, actually enjoyed the action stages of the story more than I thought I would. Still feel the formula of the first half of modern RE games being more survival and the second half being action oriented needs to change as it’s becoming more noticeable now. A company so laser focused on throwing as much money into their A.i efforts that is now seeing people skilled in a.i taking over entertainment? That’s not something I would feel comfortable about in regards to the future. They’re certainly not going to start plunging money into the gaming area again having burned so much money buying out Activision? Microsoft’s latest OS seems like such a disaster from reading people’s comments about co-pilot being shoe horned into every nook and cranny.

It would be an anti consumer move considering that you can’t sell your games or share them like you can with physical format. The store seems to advertise the most expensive version of a game rather than the standard version price. I don’t like the idea of them forcing us all to have to accept a eco system where we can only get games from them at the price they set. I think it will come with a disc drive as I expect the system will be backward compatible with PS5 games

The only thing I really remember from 2 that I liked was that they had the head guy from Warp Records doing a radio station which featured Plaid “clock” and Metro Area “Muira”. The story and script was awful, so typical of Ubisoft.

1 will always be remembered for that deceptive E3 trailer they showed. That incident for me was the start of the rot that has brought Ubisoft down.

the core community, absolutely incredible feel good vibes when someone goes out of their way to help you. when others work together in this game it’s some of the happiest experiences I have ever had and I’ve been playing video games for thirty years now. Only recently I was fighting a Matriach and I befriended a Scandinavian raider and we were jokingly bemoaning there was no loot to pick from it’s burning carcass after everyone had worked to take it down. Next thing, a random raider appeared and dropped us both a matriarch core and wished us a merry Christmas . The mad thing is, if it was any other game we would all probably be fighting to be the last one alive to take all the loot and any form of insult accepted as part and parcel of PvP. This game deserves more and i hope it gets more in terms of plenty of maps which is something that i feel hindered The Finals. It will win plenty of awards in 26!

700 hours playing Age Of Empire 2, only got 10 platinums this year, down from 19…. 26 previous to that. Could it be? could one be finally slowing down from the sickness that is hunting trophies and 100% completions 🤔

Must say I’ve gotten bored of playing the game now having sunk 200 hours into it. I just keep coming back for one more game but in truth I need to buy something else and wait for some fresh content to be added.

@species it works once you’re settled into it but when it comes to PVP matches or just doing challenges on harder difficulties where speedy actions are needed you’re pretty much disadvantaged. Saying that, I have had great fun with a controller on AoE2
