Still working for me with full credits although I didn’t accept the terms and conditions that appeared on my screen when I tried to view something within the apps page.
I’m not paying up to £70 for a digital rental. There’s no excuse to charge the same price as a physical version when there’s no distribution and packaging costs anymore. Let’s not forget, there will only be one place to buy games in the future if physical is stopped so unless the EU want to investigate and possibly force 3rd party store fronts I don’t see anything but a loss to us the consumers.
Epic’s Tim Sweeny doesn’t seem so interested in opening up the PlayStation and Xbox ecosystem’s like he has been with Apple and Google.
Buying this would be a nightmare for me. Keep it in the box and let its value go up in time? Or pull it out the box and start playing games on Pro settings knowing the value has gone down?
I’m not bothered about numbers and user metrics when the matter of child pornography is not the first thing they should be addressing in their response to these claims. My sister is already worried about my little nephew playing that game enough as it is. They better address the moderation problems fast
Tried to order it online from Very and they don't have it listed. Amazon have sold out all their stock of the game. Just checked Argos and they're also out of stock for my area.
Does this type of game include them nagging about the littlest thing in their day that’s really upset them and you have to listen to them talk about it whilst walking the type rope of not saying something reasonable that gets them instantly upset with you?
Brief glance at another sexy girl at the pool only to find the one your with has disappeared to the hotel room and booked the earliest flight out there whilst on the phone to her best mate crying that I’m a cheating *****?
I quite liked this game despite having doubts about it being anything but passable when it first came out. The writing was terrible but the premise of the story really opened my eyes to how human dependency to tech can be to the detriment of us all (the poorer especially) and that corporations not being firmly regulated could lead us to this point in humanity.
Also, it was fun knowing two of the lead actors in the game (Jesse Williams & Minka Kelly) were having an affair during the making of the game
@GamingFan4Lyf That change should have happened a decade ago. They’ve been sacking their best talent on higher wages and getting in younger staff who can find themselves being quickly promoted to manager roles over experience
So they’ve ground down the share price down to below 10$ through their own negligence and poor business practices so that they can now buy the shares cheaper through a forced purchase and gain back their ownership whilst ripping off all their investors.
Nothing will change if they achieve this with Tencent because Tencent will probably take a back seat thinking these clowns are going to change things by bringing out more Assassin Creed games with the promise of a Splinter Cell game in the future.
@wiiware it’s been leaked by developers inside the studios to commentators online that they have been letting the skilled ones leave and have been replacing them with junior developers. Cost cutting measures, hence why in the past few years their games have been atrocious at launch.
Will be interesting where CEX are going to place a bike in their stores a few years from now. The glass cabinets won’t be one place it will be going in 🤔
Oooooof that stock price plummet will continue and the shareholders wanting the Guillemots out are only going to be further galvanised in warranting having them kicked out of their own company.
I came to the conclusion with the first game that it needed Keyboard and Mouse support in order to achieve success with the hard settings. Loved the game though
@Korgon did you miss the management behaviour with women? That’s a good place to start and the dragging of heels by the Guillemots to change the toxic work environment. They’ve been slowly burying themselves over the past few years ever since they stopped the previous buyout.
This reminds me of the time I had to sit in Ibiza airport for 21 hours due to my airline having a breakdown and having to bring another plane to pick us all up. I was so sleep deprived by the 20th hour that I couldn’t stop laughing when we all got sat in the flight and they handed out complimentary mini coke cans. A ingame trinket, absolutely meaningless gesture and of no value at all.
What film did Eli Roth make for him to be able to then go on a possession of crap films leading up to Borderlands that no one other than Randy Pitchford wanted making. Surely not Hostel?!?
Have the PR people at Ubisoft been telling review sites to give this game a glowing preview? Because last month you rightly reported how poor it was and now both yourselves and Eurogamer seemingly are trying to sell it to us all.
This game gives off that post E3 WatchDogs where we all started to see the game for what it was after they hoodwinked us all into believing it was next generational graphics and animations. This is what they do and why so many people hate Ubisoft. No it’s not because it’s the cool thing to do. It’s because they deceive the purchaser for as long as possible right until release day because they focus too heavily on release dates and shareholders.
Who remembers that video someone created of Watchdogs before release and after release and how barren the game was in the end. It was depressing, they then did the same thing with The Division. So yeah, peoples hatred for Ubisoft can be easily justified
I have a feeling, and it’s just that, that they might do something with a certain down and out trio (not spoiling) who eventually come to Kiryu and the gangs aid at the Millennium Tower . Something about the conversations Kiryu had with them about helping Kasuga had me thinking that maybe they’ve got a story direction lined up featuring them. Just a hunch
Also, a number of the cast from Judgement appearing in the past two Like A Dragon games. Perhaps they’re starting to wind down Judgement stories and bringing that cast in to Like A Dragon games?
I want to apologise to all of you as I bought the GTAV online last week. If it makes you feel better I regret buying the game because the character controls and animations are seemingly still stuck in the early 00’s despite the amazing sandbox experience it no doubt is
