Apparently so, as the official X (or Twitter) account for Dragon Ball video games has confirmed a new title will be unveiled in January.
It’ll be presented as part of the Dragon Ball Genkidamatsuri, a real-life event scheduled to take place at the Makuhari Messe in Japan on 25th January, 2026.
The new game will feature as part of a stage show, with the panel expected at 11AM local time.

It’s worth mentioning there’s no guarantee this will be a PS5 game, as it could be something on competing platforms or even mobile.
But seeing as we’re now a year removed from Dragon Ball Sparking Zero’s launch, we suppose Bandai Namco could have something new cooking for consoles by now.
