Re: Revised PS5 Pro Model Reportedly Coming Soon in Europe, But Don't Expect Much

People don’t want big bulky consoles, I really don’t understand why Sony went ahead with the design of the PS5. You place it on a table on its side and the thing looks ugly due to the base being bigger. You can’t slot it in narrow spaces so it has to be in more open spaces. They must have been thinking this console should be a focal point of everyone’s room when people tend to go along a more minimalist approach in how they have their rooms

Hollow Knight 2, going slowly with this one, taking it all in. The atmospheric music is excellent!

Haven’t touched Helldivers 2 in over two years so coming back and seeing all the new things has been fun. Still not a game where I feel I can play for hours. It’s more two or three dives and then I’m off.

Been playing a tonne of AoE:2DE over the past months since release. 700 hours strong including the plat since buying. I’m teasing myself to go full 100% completion. Some of the missions requiring you to complete within a time period seem impossible to do considering you’re using a joypad to make quick decisions and commands

Re: Poll: Did You Buy a PS1 at Launch?

My family had like twenty of them for the nightclub we own. New games got sent every week by PlayStation’s PR side. It was crazy, would go in during the summer daytime and play F1 or Wip3out and whatever they decided to send in. PlayStation absolutely hit the bullseye with getting the console out to the youth back then as nightclubs were very much on the ascendancy of uk youth culture. We did a promotion for Microsoft a few years after when they released the first Xbox and no one touched the unit on the evenings so we sent it back

Re: 'We'll Continue to Evolve the PS Store': Sony on Making PS5, PS4 Shopping Better

They can start by getting rid of the deceptive “…..” option box which shows the base price and the options to download the demo. I get wound up each time I see a game being sold for £99 on the store knowing other customers won’t see the other prices or where the demo version is. They know what they’re doing with this system and it’s incredibly anti consumer.

Re: Rumour: Battlefield 6 Out in October for PS5, Competes with Call of Duty

Memories of the beta and how horrid it was. Far too many players on each map, vehicles driving up the side of the big space rocket building, spawn points being abused, that tunnel that goes underneath the runway where everyone camped at the entrance on either side would just throw grenades down the stairs and get easy double kills and more. Absolute worst thing I’ve ever played in beta form. It was so bad and they continued with releasing it on launch date

Re: Poll: 5 Years Later, What Do You Think of Ghost of Tsushima?

I liked it to a point but the more I think about the game now I can’t help but feel it was a pretty weak open world experience. Sure, it was beautiful and the sword play and stealth mechanics were great but I can’t help feel it was no better than a AC game from the past in which you were having to explore the whole map and doing similar side quests. It’s something SuckerPunch have really been quite disappointing in that they haven’t really improved their open world side quests.
