Fans of first-person puzzle games know it doesn't get much better than the Portal series, but ChromaGun has always been a solid alternative.

The sequel, ChromaGun 2: Dye Hard, looks like it's stepping things up in basically every way.

The game's latest trailer reveals the release date, and it's not too far off:

Much like Valve's beloved series, ChromaGun 2: Dye Hard has you going through clinical test chambers inside a mysterious science company, solving dozens of puzzles as you gradually unpack the story.

This series is all about applying specific colours to objects in each room to make progress, and as with all good puzzlers, things start simple but quickly grow more complex.

As the trailer rightly notes, the game features a colourblind mode that applies symbols for each colour, giving you another way to differentiate.

With its witty tone and clever puzzles, this could be one to watch if you're into these types of puzzle games. It's due for release on 12th February, 2026 on PS5.
