Rollerdrome should not be ignored. It’s a cross between Tony Hawk Skater and the Max Payne games. Addictive and rewarding so anyone saying that it’s crap clearly haven’t got the cojones to try things first before passing judgement

@get2sammyb they own the ip but they don’t own the game as I believe Microsoft invested in Insomniac making the game for them. Same situation with Dead Rising 3 when the xBone was announced. Microsoft paid Capcom to make the game for launch in which it only released on X and PC

That’s a weird thing to say, I imagine a lot of the messages he and others were getting are from worried Xbox users who are rightly getting very worried. So you’re listening to these people and you’re going to reassure them in a week with news that could be pretty detrimental to customers loyalty to a system

@HotGoomba Apple have ZERO interest in the console gaming business. Their focus is elsewhere such as automobiles, movies, health wearable advancements, building their own in house silicon and so forth. I very much doubt they want to invest in bringing out a console when their biggest rivals in Silicon Valley is potentially winding down their hardware side.

I always said it’s a win/win for them to release on other platforms whilst offering a cheaper offer via their GP. They’re going to make a lot of money back quicker so it’s not like this is the end of MS as a gaming entity. Sadly, it’s going to upset a lot of fans who have heavily invested into their ecosystem.

When they got the Activision buy going I always wondered how they could afford to have a game like Doom become platform exclusive when it’s been a ip that has always been available to any system that wants it.

Considering the most recent Indy film bombed and the one previous to that being just ridiculously stupid I would imagine they’re probably panicking about how many people are going to be interested in playing it. The fact it’s Machine Games doing another nazi shooting game has put me right off the idea.

I’m trying to 100% WoLong having got the dlc in the sale. Suddenly it’s decided to be challenging whereas the base game was ridiculously easy. It’s a poor mans Sekiro considering how easy it is to parry. The end of game content is non existent compared to Nioh 2.

The Finals, I’m still playing but I’ve maxed out the season pass and player level so I am starting to think about uninstalling for a month. I really hope there’s more than one map with S2 because I really don’t like this spoon feeding from studios with their online game services. I miss the days of say a BF4 where you would get four maps bundled together.

Started playing Overwatch 2, it’s not bad. I was going to uninstall but I quite enjoy the no recoil shooting and kill streaks.

Next week, Helldivers 2 take over !

I’m starting to feel I wasted five hundred quid with the naive belief that I would finally get to play Half Life Alyx. Surely they know it’s what the majority of VR2 owners want to play on the system?!?! At least back in the Vita years they had people who would work to get requested games on the system . Who the hell can we ask these days who will even listen?

If Ronin is anything like WoLong I’m out of buying it. Been playing WoLong the past few days and it’s easily the weakest Team Ninja game I’ve played.

@Nekomichu yeah, I did one dungeon early on in my Sorceress attempt and I had to run through the entirety of the dungeon being chased by the Butcher. Eventually he stops chasing, I bailed, lesson learned. Agree it’s easy, I just got cheaply killed from being distracted by others in the house. I’m going to wait for the new season to start for the events before I try again.

@commentlife I’m at lvl 100 and I don’t feel powerful compared to others. I’ve been trying to get hold of a specific aspect for my Barbarian and it will not drop so I’ve hardly touched aspects for the build. Think I need to reset all my skills and try another build setup in the hope that I can at least go into the Uber Lillith battle with others and do some sort of damage on her. Then there’s the hardcore mode, got myself up to lvl 32 and got killed cheaply. I’m looking forward to moving on from this game

I attempted to take on Uber Lilith yesterday as I was closing in on the platinum and got wiped out with her first attack. Sigh, I just don’t have the patience to put myself through x amount of chalice dungeons to be at a strength to take her on solo.

Got two tasks to do in Arkham Asylums predator games and I’ve got two platinums done and two games uninstalled from my very full PS5 hardrive.

The Finals, I reinstalled this game once they did an update and I started to enjoy it again for a few weeks. I’m starting to get a bit fed up of how frustrating it is dealing with the light build players. Some seem to be more bullet sponges than others and of course when I’m playing light you’re dead in seconds. Then they have all kinds of skills available to them compared to the other builds and it just feels like they need to be nerfed. It’s frustrating

Got like three weeks to find something to play before Helldivers 2 releases

They were forced into making this game, no doubt about it. Warner really are hopeless but you can be certain that the micro transactions will be perfect on day 1

It’s a wonderful remake, on par with RE2 and that tram system really makes the game better. I’ll be all in on a Dead Space 2 remake but I would imagine it won’t happen for a while

Diablo 4. My build has become all powerful, I’m currently level 85, and I’ve been blasting through nightmare dungeons and getting even more stronger.

Uninstalled The Finals last night. The drop off from the initial few days of having fun was pretty severe for me. As it is at the moment, is nothing more than an infuriating bullet sponge and poorly balanced game. You can get the first shots on others with a more powerful gun and still end up second best. The respawn timer is another gripe. you can be timed out for 15 seconds or so and if the other squad members die in that time you get another 20+ seconds added to your wait. I could go on but it’s uninstalled

Tempted to buy the Return to Arkham collection this weekend or buy Alan Wake 2

The idea had amazing potential considering how great the online mode was but if they were struggling to make it work then it’s good that they cancelled. Get off Bungies back, some of you! There’s a high standard of quality with first studio content and if Bungie said it’s not a great idea then you respect their honesty in a world where people seemingly don’t want to accept the answers they need to hear

….the spawn timer needs to be changed. It’s infuriating how if you’re killed and on a ten second time out and the other team mates get killed you will then have another 15 seconds more to wait.

Has anyone else noticed that this game has a platinum yet is free to play? I always thought f2p on PSN were not allowed one

@Grimwood it’s criminal how that mode hardly got any kind of attention to detail by Dice. They spent more time taking features out of that mode like the credit store, xp gains, maps made smaller (the Dubai one) and now it’s a ghost town on the PS side.

The heavy takes a ridiculous number of shotgun bullets to take down and the portable turrets need to be weaker to destroy. That’s my main gripes with the game now that the initial buzz I had for this last week has eased.

I’m looking forward to Helldivers 2 although I’m worried it might lose something of it’s magic by going third person

Will Marvel except their ip being put up on GamePass when they could be making the kind of money Sony bring them with SpiderMan games?
