Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 562

Trying to find Olympian in Pacific Drive so that I can complete my garage. Even with the resource scanner that area where you find it always seems to bring chaos to you and the car regardless of how prepared I am.

Started GoW Ragnarok but it’s a slow start compared to the previous game so I’m coming back to that.

Reluctantly giving up on the platinum for Kill Knight. A really difficult game and the challenges just add further to the misery.

Re: This Awesome LEGO PS2 Set Will Be Officially Considered for Production

I was gifted an adult Hokusai Lego set for Christmas and it’s been such a joy to assemble that I’m taking my time to complete. I would buy something like this in a heartbeat and considering that there was a NES set released a few years ago I think this could come to fruition. Be nice if they could add a tv screen with a classic game playing like the NES version

Re: Game of the Year: #6 - Silent Hill 2

Fantastic game but the use of Unreal 5 really dampens the game experience. Same issues that Alan Wake 2 had in that it looked great in lighter surroundings but in dark areas it’s a struggle to see things ahead of the character. Also rainfall looks terrible and frame rate drops. It’s a game engine that looks good from a distance but when you look closer it’s a mess.

The original writers were ballsy for doing that dark storyline with one of the characters you meet early on. A boss battle had my jaw dropped when I realised what it represented .

Re: Like It or Not, This Is Why PS5 Pro Doesn't Have a Disc Drive

I’m not paying up to £70 for a digital rental. There’s no excuse to charge the same price as a physical version when there’s no distribution and packaging costs anymore. Let’s not forget, there will only be one place to buy games in the future if physical is stopped so unless the EU want to investigate and possibly force 3rd party store fronts I don’t see anything but a loss to us the consumers.

Epic’s Tim Sweeny doesn’t seem so interested in opening up the PlayStation and Xbox ecosystem’s like he has been with Apple and Google.

Re: Poll: Are You Playing Silent Hill 2?

Tried to order it online from Very and they don't have it listed. Amazon have sold out all their stock of the game. Just checked Argos and they're also out of stock for my area.

I'm trying to refrain myself from buying digital

Re: Fiona Feeds You Dessert in PS5, PS4's Venus Vacation Prism: Dead or Alive

Does this type of game include them nagging about the littlest thing in their day that’s really upset them and you have to listen to them talk about it whilst walking the type rope of not saying something reasonable that gets them instantly upset with you?

Brief glance at another sexy girl at the pool only to find the one your with has disappeared to the hotel room and booked the earliest flight out there whilst on the phone to her best mate crying that I’m a cheating *****?

Re: Detroit: Become Human PS4, PC Sales Evolve Past 10 Million Paid Units

BusyOlf

I quite liked this game despite having doubts about it being anything but passable when it first came out. The writing was terrible but the premise of the story really opened my eyes to how human dependency to tech can be to the detriment of us all (the poorer especially) and that corporations not being firmly regulated could lead us to this point in humanity.

Also, it was fun knowing two of the lead actors in the game (Jesse Williams & Minka Kelly) were having an affair during the making of the game

Re: Tencent, Guillemot Family Reportedly Considering Ubisoft Buyout

BusyOlf

So they’ve ground down the share price down to below 10$ through their own negligence and poor business practices so that they can now buy the shares cheaper through a forced purchase and gain back their ownership whilst ripping off all their investors.

Nothing will change if they achieve this with Tencent because Tencent will probably take a back seat thinking these clowns are going to change things by bringing out more Assassin Creed games with the promise of a Splinter Cell game in the future.
