Great to hear. My brother has a PSVR and it’s a ton of fun with certain games. It’s not something I care to get at the moment but later down the line when I have a PS5 and possibly have my own place I can totally see myself snagging one if the games are there with it.

My brother and I will have to download and play it this coming weekend. It looks fun. Nothing groundbreaking, but worth trying.

I removed my old comment because I thought the remaster was the one on the right... which I now know it isn’t. I might just be crazy but the older version looks way better too me... very underwhelmed. I got the originals on PC so I wasn’t planning on getting this anyways but I’m just a bit surprised is all lol. I’m sure the remaster will be good though.

I do plan to get one eventually for whenever I move out. I've had a lot of fun playing Astro's Playroom and Spider-Man and I'm going to want to be able to play the new Ratchet and Clank and Gran Turismo when they come out.

I won't be getting a PS5 for a little bit of time but if I were to get one I would definitely pick up Sackboy and Spiderman. Out of the third-party titles, I'll eventually be getting DIRT 5 and Assassin's Creed Valhalla for PC when I free up some of my gaming backlog down the road.

I’ll be waiting to pick one up. I’ll play the new Spider-Man, Sackboy, and maybe even Horizon on PS4 Pro and wait for either a price drop or a limited edition to come out sometime next year when there are more games. The PS5 looks great but since I have a Pro it doesn’t look like it has a ton to offer me this year, especially since I’m not a die-hard Souls fan.

They breathed new life into three of my favorite franchises. I'd say that's commendable. They're definitely improving and I'm looking forward to seeing what they bring us next!

Interestingly enough this game was made with Unity. This might be why the visuals might not be super smooth all the time. Regardless, good review and I'll probably pick the game up when it gets a bit cheaper.

I have a PS4 Pro but I’m also fortunate enough to have a good gaming PC as well. As such I just buy the single-player exclusives I want physically and get all my multiplayer games for PC. Unfortunately there is very little Sony can do to make me ever pay for PS+, but who knows, maybe they’ll surprise me.

10/15. Actually pretty surprised I scored decently well. I’m a little cheesed cause I had a brain fart with the Sly Cooper release date, if I didn’t rush through that question I would have gotten it right lol.

Nothing huge. Far Cry 6 looks interesting. Assassin's Creed Valhalla and Watch Dogs Legion look good nothing to freak out about. Really wish we got a new Splinter Cell... and also my promised copy of Watch Dogs 2 lol.

@Mrnotultra Yeah I was planning on getting this digitally on PC but with that box-art I may just end up getting a physical copy instead for PS5! It's so beautiful to the eyes!

Rise of the Tomb Raider is one of my favorite games of this generation. Definitely snag it if you haven’t played it yet. Really fun and still looks beautiful today.

This is such an amazing lineup of games. I’m really excited for Gran Turismo 7, Ratchet and Clank, Horizon Forbidden West, Spider-Man, and even Sackboy!

I never played a Dark Souls game but Demon’s Souls is definitely interesting me as well.

Glad to hear. It's what got me to switch over from XBOX to PlayStation. I'm super excited for not only The Last of Us 2 and Ghost of Tsushima, but all of the new exclusives coming out for the PS5 as well!

Wish they would just make these all night events. It's at 4 PM where I'm at and I probably won't be back until 6 or 7. Ah well, no big deal. I'll just skim through the stream and watch all those 4K trailers as they pop up.

I prefer 60FS as well but higher resolutions are nice. Let's hope most, if not all games, run at a smooth 60FPS and something well above 1080p. Even 1440p looks phenomenal if you're not right in front of your TV or monitor!

I remember being hyped for the original Project Cars back when I had my XBOX One. I got it day one and was soooo disappointed. The game was super difficult to control and the campaign mode just felt bland. I love Forza, Gran Turismo, GRID, and even the NFS Shift games (which were made by the same developers) but for some reason Project Cars just didn't mesh with me. I heard getting a wheel helped a lot but I didn't want one of those.

All that being said, I know a lot of people like these games and this new entry seems like it is more approachable to people like me. I'll wait for reviews and fan feedback, but perhaps I'll give the series another go when the price goes down.

8 out of 15. I’ll take it considering I’ve only really played a few GBA games I’d say that’s pretty decent. I have the trilogy on the Switch but I never got around to playing it lol. This is a good reminder to play it soon

Good. Too many developers care too much about length that their games end up feeling emptier or requiring more grinding. Valhalla seems to be fixing Odyssey’s main issues.

I love PlayStation but man, I’ve never liked the ergonomics of the DualShock controllers. They just felt like this weird blocky mess in my hands. Really liked the direction they took with the PS4’s DualShock and the DualSense looks like perfection to me. The design of the XBOX One and Switch Pro controllers with the beautiful white/black/blue aesthetics, HD rumble, and a built in microphone so I don’t have to use a headset of my phone for Discord. Can’t wait!

Hopefully this is true, really like the look of the setting based on the image!

Good review but I’m passing. Multiplayer is the big thing I would care about and that’s gone. No Spec Ops co-op is just icing on the cake for me to skip this remaster. I liked Modern Warfare’s campaign back in the day but didn’t think it was anything incredible. There are much more interesting and ambitious shooters these days for me. Glad for those who love the campaign though.

That aside, maybe they’ll bring back the multiplayer later. Didn’t the Modern Warfare 1’s remaster initially only include the campaign? Maybe I’m just being silly lol.

The deep dive didn't do anything for me. My decision to get a PS5 at launch will be solely dictated by the exclusives. Hoping for at least one big game that I'm interested in to come out then. I also just recently got a powerful gaming PC so an XBOX is completely off the tables now. I got this PC for Forza, Ori, and other MS exclusives now

Solid announcements but probably didn't need an entire 1 hour presentation for it. I can see how others saw it underwhelming considering they spent a long time explaining SSD technologies and the overall hardware seems a bit inferior to the Series X on paper. I have a pretty powerful PC so this didn't do much for me, I really just want to see the exclusive games.

I actually really like it. It’s not supposed to be this radically new thing. It’s just CoD with a battle royale. I’m not even a big Call of Duty supporter yet I’m having some fun with it. The simplicity works well imo.

I already have the Uncharted Trilogy but for those without it, then this is a great month for this collection alone.

I could care less about Goat Simulator. My brother showed it to me last year and I got bored of it within 2 minutes. There’s barely anything you can do in it and basically no objective or progression. Probably won’t even download it even with it being free lol.

So yeah nothing for me this month but happy for those who haven’t picked up the Uncharted games yet.

I'll pay $500 but I think that's my cap. Hopefully there are some good launch titles, too. Looking forward to the game announcements!

I'm very excited for it. Games already look terrific with my PS4 Pro and 4K TV setup but... better graphics and new games are always exciting!

I really don't have much time to game these days so I already have a huge backlog thanks to PS+. It's really great deal now but it's just not for me.

I wouldn't mind a new game but given the series track record, I'd prefer a remake of the originals. The Vita version was surprisingly solid though.

Definitely better than the standard box-art.I don't usually use reversible covers but I'll probably be using this one.

Well I am one of the five people left on this planet who hasn't played The Last of Us so this is a nice month for me. MLB The Show 19 isn't bad but I'm not sure how much I'll play it. I'll give it a go I suppose.

I'm all for it. It's been a while since a new Spyro title came out that felt traditional and was actually good.

I've been wanting to buy Wipeout for a while now but never caved in because of my backlog. Super happy to see it's free this month. Sniper Elite 4 looks like good fun too. PS+ has been good to me these past months, I've barely played online this year but the free games are making it way more than worth for me.

The Last of Us Remastered would be nice as I still haven't played that yet but think the sequel looks incredible. Gran Turismo Sport would be nice too. I'd also like to see Bloodborne, Ratchet and Clank, DriveClub, or Until Dawn... but sadly all those titles were already free before I had my PS4

I graduated in May and just recently started working full-time. Also been a lot more active and have been running just about every day. Pile those two things on top of of my long commute and I really don't have much time to game outside of the weekends now. A bit sad, but I do appreciate my free time a lot more now. Looking forward to picking up Three Houses soon as my last big summer title!

@mookysam I'd insta-buy a remaster of 1, 2, or Deluxe. So many good memories with those games! Controls feel perfect and they're still challenging to play today!

Good to hear. I like more single-player options and I'd love to see the game run at 4K 60fps.

Very odd. I was going to take PES for a spin but I have to say I'm much more interested in Detroit: Become Human. Was actually going to pick the game up earlier this year but didn't due to my backlog and hopes that the game would become a PS Plus title eventually. Super stoked!

For the first time in a while, I dont really mind what ends up being free in July. Between Borderlands: The Handsome Collection, getting back into Modern Warfare, and finishing my backlog, I really don't need anything else to play at the moment. Plus, Mario Maker 2 comes out in a few days!

Regardless, I hope it's a good selection for the sake of others!

@BridgeToClarity Same here. My old laptop took over 2 minutes to start up and another minute for the OS to be fully functional. Now I boot up my new laptop and I'm ready to go in about 12 seconds. Very excited to see new consoles adding them!

I feel like the same could be said about most previous generations, minus when 3D gaming was in an infancy. It's actually good to hear that the PS5 isn't anything "disruptive" as it means developers shouldn't have a tough time transitioning from the PS4 to the PS5 from a game development perspective. I'm personally excited to get full 4K gaming, higher frame-rates, and negligible load times. I love my PS4 but I'm stoked for next generation.
