Awesome, I hope it’s true! I haven’t played a ton of Splinter Cell games but I really enjoyed Chaos Theory and Blacklist. I’d be down for a new entry as long as it stays true to its roots as a stealth game.

I cannot wait for this. I like the old Crash games, but the original Spyro trilogy had some of my favorite old-school PlayStation games.

Wow... time flies. I remember watching the reveal in February and the E3 presentation in June. Crazy, feels like the current gen systems are only a couple years old. Hard to believe this console generation could almost be over.

I hate how secretive companies are nowadays with their games. So many games I'm looking forward to this year haven't even been officially announced... new Sonic Racing title, Shadow of the Tomb Raider, and a few Nintendo titles for the second half of the year. Eh, at least I won't have to wait long before they're shown off.

Awesome! I'm a bit disappointed there is no Switch version but I'm glad it's going to come to PC at some point. Looking forward to it!

I'm getting my tax refund this month so if Sony could just bring the price of the PS4 to $200 again, that would be great.

@DLB3 Funny enough it's true it's been $5 a lot but I recommend picking it up sometime. Not amazing, but a good action/adventure game nonetheless and well worth $5. Bought it last summer for that price and enjoyed it.

As others have mentioned, Borderlands Handsome Collection should have made the list somewhere. But I also suppose that's more of a co-op affair rather than a random local-multiplayer party-type game.

My local multiplayer is basically the same as it's been since I was in grade school: Nintendo games. Specifically Mario spin-off titles and Smash Bros. They're too much fun and they span older consoles all the way to the Switch.

The original Spyro was one of my favorite games back in the day, it was one of the very few games that I played that wasn’t a Nintendo game. I’m so happy this collection is announced (or at least, pretty much is)!

Nice to hear it’s picking up more publicity outside of Japan. I had a couple friends tell me about Monster Hunter World which is neat considering they didn’t even know it existed on previous systems.

Sonic and All-Stars Racing Transformed (what a mouth full) is still an exceptional game. It was one of the only kart racers to ever put up a reasonable fight against the more recent Mario Kart games. I still fire it up from time to time on my PC and VITA, so I'd buy a successor right away!

Here's what I want:

o Sonic Unleashed/Generations/Colors successor (without the cringe-iness and mistakes Forces made) with Chao

I'm waiting for the PC version. Don't want to pay for online and would like the ability to play it anywhere on my laptop.

That's pretty impressive... well, given the game ends up being as big as I hope! Regardless, this is small enough to fit on the Switch with ease... please Capcom... I'm already waiting for the PC version, so if a Switch version gets announced, I'll be sold.

I loved the Tomb Raider reboot, and Rise of the Tomb Raider is one of my favorite games of all-time. Bring on the announcement!

As a sucker for handhelds, I'd love to see Sony enter the handheld market again. If they made a portable PS4... I'd be all over that. Granted, I'm not sure how practical it would be to see that anytime soon without it costing a fortune.

I've said a million times that I'd finally purchase a PS4, but never did due to other financial obligations (school, rent, laptop, etc). I'm hoping to finally pick one up next summer. I'll consider getting the pro if hits that $350 price next summer. Gonna have a HUGE backlog of PS4 games to pick up!

To those who pick these games up every year, are they worth it? The only MLB The Show title I've ever owned was The Show 14 on the VITA. It was pretty fun, nothing spectacular, but having the full career mode on the go was a blast. Perhaps I'll pick up another version whenever I eventually pick up a PS4.

I hate GameStop but this is actually a pretty good deal for people who aren’t collectors.

Still plan on picking up both whenever I end up getting a PS4.

I remember being really hyped for this game back before it came out. Then it released... and while it wasn't a bad game, it was so average it disappointed me. There was almost no story or memorable characters, there was little variety in gameplay or enemy design, and the game had a "grind-to-win" aspect to it. Definitely was not my cup of tea. The expansions apparently fixed a lot of these issues, but the damage was already done for me. I've tried a lot of recent first-person shooters and none of them can hook me. I guess I just fell off of the genre.

@Rob_230 Totally agree. Sonic Unleashed, Sonic Generations, and Sonic Colors were all great experiences because they focused strictly on running as Sonic (minus the wherehog of course, which I didn't even mind too much) and rewarded you more speed for learning the stages and being precise with your platforming. Sonic Lost World (never played it because I didn't enjoy the demo) apparently did this too, just on a slower scale.

It's funny because I was super hyped for when Sonic Forces was first announced... but with all of the focus on 2D Sonic and the custom character, plus the super linear stages we've seen so far, I'm very cautious about picking it up. At least Sonic Mania is turning out well!

I'm always busy with work and school cause of my dual major and internship so the time of the year doesn't matter for me in terms of game time. Im used to having small amounts of free time.

Bring me Spyro or bring me death!

Wow. Consider me surprised and completely unimpressed. My favorite part of racing sims is always just relaxing and coasting through the single-player content. Online additions are great, but usually just icing on the cake for me. I'm a lot more cautious about this entry now.

It looks great! The voice acting sounds really fake, but the environments and gameplay look spot on. Hopefully we still get Monster Hunter XX localized for the Switch, though!

I'm getting a PS4 later this year when a cool color/bundle comes out. Was thinking about getting the gold one but I just got a Switch last month so my gaming plate is already pretty full at the moment, plus I need to save a bit of money.

That aside, I'll definitely pick this up later in the year and I'm glad to see classic courses returning. I loved the throwback course DLC in Mario Golf World Tour. Super hyped!

Give me something like the Nintendo Spotlight with more games and that's all I really need.

I wasn't a fan of the original, which was surprising because I really enjoyed Slightly Mad Studios' Need for Speed Shift series. Even if this does turn out well, I feel like Gran Turismo Sport and Forza will have my attention over it.

Funny to hear a company so content with their product being just "viable" instead of a "success" or something. Ah well, they have the PS4 for that.

So... Need for Speed is essentially the Fast and Furious of the video game realm? I mean it looks like it's focusing on action and corny "we're a family" plot-lines rather than, you know, simple street racing. Also, there are God knows how many games in the franchise at this point.

@Simon_Fitzgerald yep, the original Spyro games were some of my favorites on the PS1. One of the main reasons I bought a Vita was for portable Spyro as PS1 classics... but Sony had different plans for North America.

I would love to see Monster Hunter come to the PS4 as long as it doesn't stop is appearing on the Switch. I am absolutely obsessed with my Switch.

I knew this game would turn out well, but man, reviews have been praising it more than I thought. I'll probably pick this up on my Switch some point this summer!

The PS4 and Switch are making this my favorite year for gaming!

I'd be down for another Need for Speed, I just want them to design it like the older entries. It's probably nostalgia speaking here, but I absolutely loved Most Wanted and Carbon. I actually didn't play the "reboot" that came out a couple years ago so I'm not sure if that tried to bring it back or not.

It's great to see this game turning out so well. The footage looks great and I'm sure it will be worth the wait... I just wish we had a release date/window!

@BAMozzy Both were definitely incredible years. It's weird how the odd number years are always the standouts.
