Quickest way ro kill hype for a game. Shows we are getting another buggy game too if previous delayed games are anything to go by.

Good. Resynched was disappointing and I don't like the idea of a game i have already played releasing where something new could.

"Somehow, and for some reason" That's because of demand. Happens often. I've ben hoping for this for a while. Means I won't have to do the raids again for the Armour.

@Dan12836666

What makes you think that?

They should fix parrying while they're at it.

I wonder how much the hate towards Veilguard had to do with this.

No free upgrade? That's annoying.

Shame. China would be a great setting for AC.

No way this is coming next year.

Big downgrade visually. That's what delays got us.

Can we stop with this "new games aren't allowed to release anywhere near each other" ***** now?

Makes sense. Development of the console versions has probably been complete for some time.

Delays never lead to a polished game. Games that aren't delayed consistently release in a better state than delayed games.

@ThaBEN It was a cross gen game. It released on gen 7 and 8 simultaneously, so the article is correct.

He needs to stop spending so much time on the internet.

Why are people happy about this? Did they not learn anything from Cyberpunk?

More proof that games that release close together do well. Now can you stop getting upset by this and pressuring studios to delay their games?

Delayed games always release with bugs and performance issues. This won't be any different.

I just hope police don't appear out of literally nowhere this time.

RDR2 and Gears of War Reloaded

People get upset by micro transactions but support remasters and ports which are far more egregious cash grabs that have been more damaging to gaming. Crazy.

I am, but the excitement is long gone and it won't be something I will buy day one. The amount of time it has been delayed isn't a good sign either. Always lead to technical issues. Saw some noticeable frame rate drops in the extended look. The final product will probably be worse.

How about a collection of the other games to go with it?

No chance the gaming community allow this to release in 2028. 2029 it is.

Black Flag Resynched and RDR2

If Rockstar had of stuck to their plan instead of pandering to those upset by the release date, this would have been avoided.

Have both controllers pre ordered.

It's the standard reception to a new game. Happens all the time. I'm surprised it isn't under pressure to be delayed.

Crazy that people think it will be out next year

I would hate to see a remaster. I have played the original so many times and a new game would be a big step forward on the better tech. It's absolutely crazy that gamers now just want the same old thing resold to them constantly over something new.

Sad to see what gaming is now

Getting both controllers

Absolutely ridiculous that release dates and having more than one game release with months is what the gaming community have chosen to be upset about now.

Hope to see Darksiders 4, and I would love to see Saints Row return.

I replayed this recently and it looks like I will be playing it again soon.

Greedfall and Wolfenstein Youngblood for me

Absolutely ridiculous that gamers now get upset by more games coming out. Who would have thought we would end up here?

Nice. Never played this one.

This is what happens when the gaming community decide they hate a game before it's out. Give new games a chance.

Surely Sony will u-turn at some point. They kept the PS3 store open after backlash and delayed games because of community pressure so it wouldn't be the first time.

Gamers always complain about studios being money hungry and fleecing them then give them another way to do so.

I'll wait for the full release

Hopefully they aren't far off.

@Cry_Zero
No, thanks
If GTA IV gets a re-release, it should be remastered at 4k with an option for 60fps.

People get upset by microtransactions but support ports and remasters which are far worse. Crazy.

They didn't release this for gamers. This is to capitalize on current trends. Nothing more.

Reteleasing these without remastering them is ridiculous

@dskatter

Development didn't start until after Starfield released

They will delay it. No way the gaming community will allow it to release on its announced date.

@CheesyOatcake
A new game wouldn't go down well these days.
