I'll be honest, I'd completely forgotten there was a THQ Nordic Showcase this week.
I figured I'm probably not alone, so I thought it'd be worth highlighting the presentation in case you're interested.
As the name suggests, publisher THQ Nordic is planning to show off its upcoming slate of titles, and it takes place on Friday 7th August 2026.
The teaser trailer above confirms several games that'll be part of the show, including:
- Titan Quest II
- Wreckfest 2
- The Guild - Europa 1410
- Fatekeeper
- Expeditions: Samurai
- The Eternal Life of Goldman
- Way of the Hunter 2
I imagine we'll get a bunch of release dates for these; hopefully that'll include The Eternal Life of Goldman, which has been a very long time coming.
You'll be able to watch via YouTube, and we'll of course be reporting all the PlayStation-relevant news on Push Square.
Are you planning on tuning in live? Tell us in the comments section below.

Wonder what’s next for Destroy All Humans 👀
Hopefully we'll finally get a release date for Wreckfest 2
Ooh, ooh, ooh, Darksiders, where are youuu?
Wreckfest 2 early access on consoles… please
A date for Wreckfest? Or is it too soon?
I'm curious to see what they've done with Way of the Hunter 2. The first one landed on PS5 in a very broken state, it's a lot better now and unlike Call of The Wild THQ don't seem to be relying too heavily on a DLC only path. I didn't expect them to make a second one, hunting games rarely do. They usually just add DLC for new preserves/rifles/etc. It's a really niche genre and a little taboo but once you're out there in a really beautiful looking reserve taking in all of that scenery, that's when people get it. They then either learn to master the shot or pack it in and play something else. I haven't played one that wasn't a real test of patience, or that didn't offer stunning scenery.
Eternal life of Goldman has looking amazing since first showing. Hopefully it hits.
Finally Wreckfest 2 - that has been on my wishlist for two years with no updates 🥺
Wooow! This is one of the coolest gaming news in months! I was waiting for an update on Titan Quest II, but I didn't even know there was another The Guild game in the making! The Guild 2: Renaissance was one of the coolest game of all time! It's awesome a modern, hopefully polished iteration is in the making (TG2R was crazy full of bugs and TG3 was disappointing). Is it yet known if it will release on PS5?
Other than that, Fatekeeper looks interesting. Great looking, climatic RPG? I'm automatically interested.
Not really into car games but would probably try Wreckfest if it was in PS+.
I hope THQ does well. These are the times when people are kinda tired with AAAA(A?) titles and some AA underdogs might just be the cure.
Where the heck is Wreckfest 2 already. Milestone's made like three dope Hot Wheels games in-between. Come on man.
I want Darksiders news and a release date for a fully completed Titan Quest 2. I don't mess with early access stuff.
@Can-You-Believe-Sith My thought too. I wonder if they'll leave it with the first two and make no more or remake the (not as popular) third game or go for a new entry in the franchise
Wonder if THQ Nordic will do Kingdoms of Amalur for PS5? Yes, it is on the PS4 as a remake, but give it PS5 look or something... Probably won't happen
I would love to see Fatekeeper confirmed for consoles.
Actually interested in Wreckfest 2, I liked the first
Fingers crossed we get an Epic Mickey 2 remake announced here. Also can't go wrong with another SpongeBob game.
@QwarktasticLombax @Can-You-Believe-Sith I'd be cool with a Destroy All Humans! 3 Remake or a new original game.
@MUG3NHC Hopefully we get some real gameplay and a release window for Darksiders 4.
@themightyant
They released a demo a month or so ago if you missed it.
Hope to see Darksiders 4, and I would love to see Saints Row return.
Wreckfest 2 I’m here for it 👍🏻
@MUG3NHC I did! Thanks for the heads up, much appreciated.
THQ Nordic has a big merch shop set up in an expensive part of the city I live in. I never see anybody walking in or out, I never was in there because I don't care about merch and I don't think THQ have IPs that are so hot that they'd lend themselves well to sell merch either. Despite that the store's been around for many years. I really wonder.
That Goldman game looks really good I must say.
Love THQ Nordic, they often have that good weird AA sh*t, with a dash of originality and a hint of jank
@UK_ - The devs have said the console version will release when early access ends. The currently Early Access roadmap goes up to "Autumn 2026".
@Reeneman - The devs have said there will be no early access on console and the console version will be released when Early Access ends.
Do they still own time splitters?
@Wyldething nooooooo
