That's more because of Rockstar's modern game design and the resources and time it takes them to do it, and GTA Online allows them to do it.

It's probably going to cost $140 where I live

That is true. Would be great if they remade the cutscenes to be consistent with the other games, then patched them in.

I'll be holding off on my full series playthrough until this comes out. Will be my first time playing these games.

Gamers have spent the last decade demanding remasters while throwing hatred and opposition at most new games and studios are capitalizing on it.

And people say you can't see ray tracing.

Crazy how so many are against this while in favour of remasters which is a far more egregious money grab and has been worse for gaming as a whole.

Of course they are. Gamers have been looking for any excuse to hate this game since before it was announced. Those that have actually played it say it's good.
