Another week has come to a concludion, which means it's time to kick back and unwind with some good ol' video games.

Another week of rootin' n' tootin' in Red Dead Redemption 2!

Since it's part of July 2026's PS Plus Essential games, I want to download Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 before the next Essential crop arrives on Tuesday 4th August. I've read that Sledgehammer Games' 2023 campaign and its Open Combat Missions are substandard, but I'm intrigued to see firsthand what happens to Captain Price, Ghost, and Soap, plus the infamous Vladimir Makarov.

This weekend will be spent mostly with a game I'm reviewing right now. I'll be able to share more soon!
That's what we're playing this weekend, then, but what about you? As always, let us know in the comments section below.

I will be playing Castlevania Symphony of the Night as intended on the PS1
I am starting Morrowind on the Xbox One X as I have not played it much. I am aiming to make a good journey in it.
On the side I will be trying SpellForce III, my first game in the series and the same goes for Dementium as I never played it on the DS.
Have great gaming weekend and screw Sony!
Sir Whoopass: Immortal Death today as I fancied something not serious and just fun (hopefully as only bought it at 9am). Looks like a saints row/skyrim mash up.
Danger 4 complete on Brotato 👍
44 today (and so is my brother) so will just be chilling out with a few beers and friends.
Have a great gaming weekend Pushsquarians! 🍻
My main game for two weeks will be Hell let loose untill HLLVietnam releases.
I'll have a look at my backlog to start something new. (Silent Hill 2 remake, RE9 or Crimson Desert)
Have a great weekend!
Spider-Man with the family followed by some Halo couch co-op and a curry. Sounds like a plan to me.
I plan to platinum Ico on the PS3, and continue my playthrough of Strider (PS4).
Will be starting Smash Bros Brawl on a brand new save file.
AC Black Flag Resynced - I've finished the story and I'm mopping up the final trophies for the platinum. I've had an amazing time with this remake, the original was already one of my favorite games and I feel like they managed to improve it with Resynced. I like the new added stuff and I like that they removed the modern day parts as that just broke the immersion too much. I'll probably keep coming back for many years just to sail the oceans and sing along with the shanties, just as I did with the original 🙂
Next up are more remakes of some other favorite games, Halo Campaign Evolved, and Moss: the Forgotten Relic 🙂
Have a great weekend!
@Zuljaras ooh, you’re showing off with that Sotn PS1 box. I hope it gets you as much enjoyment as you invested in it.
I just finished A Plague Tale: Requiem and really enjoyed it; I may go back for the platinum, but I feel like I want to play something else this weekend.
Now staring at my backlog and wondering what to do next... I will rely on this WAYP comments section to inspire me!
Have a great weekend everyone.
i’ll be reading tutorials in xenoblade 2 and accidentally shooting Slippy in Starfox on the switch U.
on the 5pro i’ll be collecting crap in ghost of yotei.
I'll continue on with halo getting all skulls and terminals as I play through the game.
Recently picked up doom dark ages revelations dlc for cheap so I'll start that apart from those two I'll be on pba bowling and definitely some Forza horizon 6.
Happy weekend I hope everyone has a great one✌️
@Onearmbandit Happy birthday my friend!
And to your bro👍
Man, it's kinda sad being in Australia and these posts coming out at 7pm on Saturday, basically halfway through the weekend, but like usual I'm cleaning up my trophy list, probably going to be recording footage from Persona 4 Golden, while finishing Skylanders Superchargers and maybe working more on my Minecraft world
I will continued playing one of the best jrpgs ever in the incredible granblue fantasy relink endless ragnarok. I will be playing the instant classic the amazing perssona 3 reload. I will be continued playing fan favorite the excellent ni no kuni 2 revenant kingdom. I will be continued playing one of the best final fantasy games ever in the phenomenal crisis core final fantasy 7 the reunion. And I will be playing the awesome underrated one of the best jrpgs ever in resonance of fate.i just finish watching the wonderful final destination bloodlines.i will be watching legendary sitcoms TV 📺 comedy shows in family matters.good times.the Jeffersons.sanford and son.different strokes.martin.the wayans brothers.married with children.and saved by the bell.word up son
Exoprimal and Bleach rebirth of souls.
After watching Brand New Day (which is great by the way) I've downloaded Spider-Man 2 again to have a swing about. Also trying Marvel Rivals again, enjoyed playing as Moon Knight and Squirrel Girl so far.
Still trying to finish Black Flag but i started Palworld last Sunday and I've barely played anything else since. I'm also still working my way through Dragon Quest 7 reimagined on Switch and I've just bought the premium edition of Indiana Jones on PS5.
@Mr-Cage Thanks
@Onearmbandit happy birthday buddy 👍
Greetings, good people.
Today yours truly is turning 38. One one hand it's scary, on other hand surviving one more year in Russia is already an achievement, so today is less games more celebrating!
This week I was juggling way more games then I usually do. Adventures of Elliot on PS5, Denshattack on Steam Deck, Rhythm Heaven Groove and Switch 2 version of Xenoblade Chronicles 2 on, well, Switch 2. To make new playthrough more interesting, I turned off enemy aggression and get exp only from quests and landmarks and not engage in combat until quest demands it. I wonder if I can finish the game this way.
That's all for now, love each other and have a great weekend.
Mandragora, halo campaign evolved and a spot of marathon this evening. Currently trying to beat the time my mate set on dirt rally 2.0 at Newhouse Bridge in the subaru s4 and I'm 56 secs off him..its a tough one for sure. Have a great weekend folks 👍
@Onearmbandit happy birthday dude, to you & your bro!
I'll be jumping back to Red Dead Redemption - a game I've played literally for years on and off but never finished, this is the time though!
I'll also dip into Volcano Princess, I'm a sucker for chill management games. And Divinity Original Sin 2 rattles on, great game but not a short one.
I'm on the last chapter of FF7 Crisis Core. Its been OK but definitely shows its roots as a PSP game. Quite repetitive and grindy if you want to complete all the trophies, not to mention the missables. I won't be going for it.
After that I'll be starting Resident Evil 7, which is new to me. Also some old classics via emulation.
Tears of the Kingdom: Going for 100% completion this go round and that means doing practically everything but the main story (minus one Regional Phenomenon). Currently taking on Froxes and Gleeoks and quite pleased that with proper preparation they're fairly easy. The Sky Islands also have a fair bit that I've done; true, there could have been more, but what's there is a fun challenge.
Final Fantasy 16, which I think is good but not sure it's really great yet. It feels very restrictive to me, very limited build options overall.
Marathon this evening with @Northern_munkey and maybe some other Push Squarers.
Generally though I've just been reading quite a bit at the moment, reading the second book of the Red Rising Trilogy at the moment (what a ride) and listening to the Audio book of Project Hail Mary, very enjoyable listen!
@ShadowRJ It is my best investment so far You probably have seen it but I am HUGE Castlevania fan. For me it is THE Best franchise ever created!
This year I will add 2 more pieces to my collection with Belmont's Curse for the PS5 and Switch!
In my 35 games in 1 year quest, I am currently now halfway through Guardians of The Galaxy. What an underrated gem. Terrific fun.
@old_gamer74 That is a nice quest
Last year I finished 35 games and this year I am sitting on 23 titles
Good Luck!
Playing Saros, which is basically Returnal 2. It’s quite fun as expected.
I’m playing Pillars of Eternity 1, lots of fun
Im going properly old school with the System Shock 2 remake and Might and Magic 7 (still such a brilliant clunky old RPG, plus 99p from GOG. I really wanted to play it again and Im having a blast)
Have a great weekend Folks!
@Hyena_socks Thanks 🙏
Cracking on with Halo, really good time, I recommend turning the reticule down (that thing is massive) makes a big difference, also
some of the music is superb!
Happy gaming folks
I’m going to be sticking to just Crimson Desert this weekend. I’ve beaten the main story but after 150 hours I’m still enjoying all the side activities. I’m always finding new stuff in the game, there’s just so much to do.
@Northern_munkey Cheers 🙏
Going to go see the new Spidey movie now.
After that, well I'm between games on PS5 atm while I wait for Tokon, so I'll be on Switch 2 this weekend.
Probably playing;
On the final boss in Kena and I think I might play a little Blops 1.
Enjoy the weekend all
The astral-touched tadpole made my Karlach look ugly so I had to reload the save and fight them skinny githyanki in the astral plane with fists and feet more powerful than any weapon - again...refused to take it and kept my Karlach still beautiful. Went back to KCD1, still haven't finished it when I've finished KCD2. Will do some Hades 2, you just don't stop unlocking stuff in this game, always something new. Reinstalled the delisted GT Sport for some few rounds in between my RPG sessions, that game's soundtrack selection is one of the best. And now that RDR2 pic is reminding me I've to go continue tarrying in Scarlett Meadows.
@Zuljaras pep talk is real 💪😎 i am in a very privileged position to have the time to invest. Reckon I can do it knowing you have done it 🤘
@Zuljaras As intended would be on the Sega Saturn.
@Zuljaras wow! You even have Vspire Kiss on the SNES, I thought that game was more expensive than Sotn, but that’s one hell of a collection.
Kickin' it old school with our rainy Saturday Karaoke Slam and Jam. Def Jam Rapstar, American Idol Encore, Lips and Rockband for the singers... NBA Streets and Def Jam Vendetta for the brothers.
Chaos Shuffle on Deadbydaylight in the few hours between work and sleep.
A run or two on Monster Train, an hour or so with Trek to Yomi, a frustrating death on Returnal and some dice jeopardy with Citizen Sleeper 2. A decent mix of stuff going on at the mo.
Hope you're all enjoying whatever you're doing. Have A good weekend people.
@Brigurugi I only collect games in English But I can see in the future getting a Sega Saturn and who knows I might get it
Currently the only JP game I have is Breath of the Wild + Expansion pass but it launches and plays in English.
@Zuljaras If you're truly a SoTN fan then you don't need the item descriptions as you should know what everything does, VO are in English. I can play the game with my eyes closed and a pencil in my mouth and probably stumble my way to the upside down castle. Any true fan should have at least emulated the definitive version of the game.
Since the PS3 inFamous games are losing their online functionality at the end of August, I've been going through them for the past few days. Finished Festival of Blood, currently wrapping up the first main game, and I should start the second later today.
@Brigurugi Nah I only played the game on PS1, Xbox 360, PS4 and PSP. And the English is like a principle of mine, I do not know why, maybe I just prefer to understand the text/speech.
@Brigurugi @Zuljaras I've played the Saturn port and the performance and loading times are terrible compared to the PlayStation version.
I’ll probably play some Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero. Played quite a bit of the dlc yesterday and I quite like all the added characters and modes. I had a good time playing the ludicrous Yamcha story mode last night.
Also, I’m taking my son to the office and he’s bringing the Switch 2. I’ve catered his selection of games, so he tries new things: Link’s Awakening, Breath of the Wild, Pikmin 4, that Layton game without Layton in it, Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin, Ori, etc. I told him he could bring it if he tries new games. And Mario Maker 2, but I’ll delegate he make me a level, so I can play on a break! 😁
Finished and Platinum achieved for Luna Abyss. I’ll continue working on Legacy of Dark Knight as well as starting and working through Palworld Screamer and Lovish
Lovish is excellent by the way and several levels in I can tell this game is going to remain endearing.
I’m sure these all fall by the side next week for Beasts of Reincarnation
Enjoy the weekend all!
In-between dips in the sea and BBQs, I'll be playing Khazan. Finally picked it up in a sale and loving it.
Palworld yet again this weekend. I've taken a break from my mega-build/Tower to work on my first 1.0 base. By work I mean I tore it down to it's foundations and rebuilt it again from the ground up. At the time I didn't have a lot of the materials and pieces unlocked so I couldn't do what I needed to do. I spent most of my weekly gaming time running dungeons, looting, improving my gear and catching a lot of stronger Pals to send into dungeons for even more loot. I'm level (checks) seventy-three now so I need to protect my builds from stronger raids. I've made some adjustments with this one and carefully rerouted the enemy A.I. so it bypasses my bridge (they were constantly destroying it) and instead luring them across the water. Now once they try to make the crossing they get pinned down by Pals on light machine gun nests, if they can make it passed the guns they get blasted by rocket placements.
I've also given my Pals Uzis, Kalashnikovs, shotguns, and more rockets. As for the Pals themselves I'm dabbling with genetic engineering to achieve genetic perfection, they are already working harder, sleeping less and embracing dieting. A breeding program will soon follow, I need superior offspring.
Most of the heavy industries have also been moved to the Tower and the focus for this first base is now food production and a more pleasing relaxing aesthetic. The idea being that I'll be able to supply (foods) three bases from one. A lot of that is done by using high level Pals to max the Labor Research Lab, higher crop yields, faster growth etc. My Pal chef team are pumping out about three-thousand Carbonaras, five-thousand Minestrones, and several-thousand Pancakes per hour. My boys have a hunger. I've taken to capturing humans too and my third base will either be a boat or some kind of pirate base where I'll run my arms manufacturing from, possibly a giant skull with some big glowly eyes.
I haven't built a boat before in the game but like the skull it works on paper so perhaps. The idea came from seeing one in Masters of The Universe. I'm also looking into glitching my way under the water, so an underwater base becomes doable, in theory. I've finished the back of the build too and made little pockets of ore production. I've managed to glitch the Expedition Centre (hub for running auto-dungeons) further into the hillside too, freeing up even more space. It was at least one-hour of moving it/rotating it inch by inch until I finally broke the mesh and it looks a lot more natural now too.
Other than that I'm just getting ready to enjoy EndGame, tougher Pals, stronger enemies, better loot, bigger guns and a lot more options for streamlining production/work. I'll probably have to build a base to handle crude oil too, raiding enemy bases (especially ninjas) is easier with a flame thrower than a shotgun. Unfortunately they guzzle through fuel so I'll need to produce a lot of it. That's about it, happy gaming weekend Folks.
@Zuljaras I'm loving by the way your Resident Evil booklet, I didn't want to comment on the thread because it might bury your original post and create less exposure, it's great though so I thought I'd wait until this thread. I'm really looking forward to seeing the finished piece and yes I meant also the Elden Ring water-coloured one (the other person) There was another one not coloured by a young graphic design artist that I really liked too.
@Onearmbandit Happy Birthday 🥂I hope you're ringing it in with some Metal too.
@Dalamar Happy Birthday 🥂 с днем рождения.
@Rangers420 I hope you're enjoying Palworld, I posted a bunch of tips to the original review comments section if you're looking for any kind of leg-up in the game. There are a lot of tricks to getting the best out of the game. I'd definitely suggest turning off structure deterioration in your world settings if you haven't already. It will allow you to build outside the Palbox radius and that's really important for high defensive walls/raids. Another is to set your default auto-save to ten-minutes. For 1.0 they reset it to thirty-seconds and it will tax your consoles CPU and affect performance especially when your storage is packed with items/materials or you have a lot of Pals stomping around. Don't sleep on the Expedition Center or Research Lab either, they'll make your life a lot easier. Also (personal favorite) after you return from a dungeon drop your items on the floor and a transport Pal will do the rest, it saves you going from chest to chest yourself. All the chest needs is one of the same item, then the A.I. knows where to place the ones you drop (not discard)
Another really important one. Keep every schematic that drops even if you have doubles. You'll unlock an item called the Drafting Table. It allows you to combine schematics of lower qualities into their stronger variants so Common, to Rare, to Epic, all the way to Legendary and the difference can be substantial. An Epic musket alone can out of 1.8K per shot and with a Ring of Mercy you can drop a Pal's health to 1% very easily, then catch them. The ring means any damage you do (while mounted too) won't drop their health below that 1%, I'm using a similar one at the moment that also shows their hidden stats, like the goggles in Ark.
I forgot to mention why I capture humans too. It's not Rimworld so if you butcher them there's no meat, just gear and sometimes Berries. The main ones I go for are Traveling Merchants (red guys) Sometimes they have security so I wait for the right moment and blast them with a shotgun then throw a really good Sphere, once I catch them I run away because it tags you as wanted, there are the stars/etc. Once I lose the heat I put them to work just like a Pal but with a Merchant you can still access their shop meaning you have a free permanent store in your base.
@GirlVersusGame thank you! The puzzles are done, now only artsy stuff remains for the other pages
I'm not sure. Maybe...
Happy weekend everyone!
Mrs Feffster is away with her mates until tomorrow so my weekend looks likely to be a lot of beige food, watching cricket and playing plenty of video games. Halo Campaign Evolved, FH5 & Pixel Junk Monsters 2 on PS5Pro, Age of Empires 4, Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2 and replaying some levels of Halo Infinite on Series X.
Have a good one all.
Half-Life on PS2.
I'm going all the way back to 2010 and playing Red Dead Redemption. I have never played it before and so far (20 hours in) it's been excellent.
Still hanging with good old Edward and the Caribbean. I forgot how brutal the sharks were while harpooning; and my poor mini boat which seems to be made of matchsticks.
Planet crafter which is so good I'll buy some DLC when I've finished which I nearly have and Mistfall Hunter which is also decent but pushes you into trios at level 5, both on Gamepass though and splashing of BF6 on my PS.
@GirlVersusGame Thanks for the tips i actually saw your comments in the review and they partly influenced my decision to give the game a go it's not a genre i usually play so appreciate all advice and tips. Also your bases and builds are genuinely impressive my first base looks like a child built it lol.
A Plague Tale: Requiem. Platinum’d A Plague Tale: Innocence 2 days ago. It’s amazing how overlooked this series is! But I guess the studio isn’t big enough for people to take notice (same issue that affects Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden). Anyone who’s a fan of story-driven games with great characters should give the series a try!
I've also been inspired to play Palword by Girls posts, I played it on preview but fully intend to start again after reading their posts. Looks amazing.
@iPaud is Kena truly as frustratingly hard as people say it is? Because I’ve always wanted to play it but if it’s gonna piss me off I’ll continue ignoring it.
Very close to complete all content in Assassin's Creed Shadows. Just a few targets now, some projects and those new DLC.
Getting my bearings on Alan Wake II. The game is no cakewalk, even on normal difficulty. But it's very intriguing and more inviting for exploration than the 1st one. Everything is improved in the sequel.
And, Yakuza: Like a Dragon. Ichiban is everything people said, a hero for the people. Loving the game the more I play and engage with the world and cast. Like a Dragon is a franchise that keeps on giving!!
@GirlVersusGame having just started Palworld this week, what’s one thing you’d tell me to focus on in the early game? Is it quests, is it catching certain pals? I’m level 6 if I recall, so literally maybe an hour into it.
@GirlVersusGame never mind I just read your whole post. Lots of good info in there!
Finished:
Finally...finally...i get the good ending 😭. Probably one if not the most challenging Contra games i ever played. To get the final mission you need to play in Normal diff and get rank "A" in all 6 missions (100% hit rate, few lives lost, and almost no continue). The final boss, all of it 6 forms, are annoying af but i'm really satisfied to kicked the alien ass back to its planet ☺️
Anyway, this weekend i'm gonna play Tenchu: Stealth Assassins

Have a nice and fun weekend everyone 🍻
@Rangers420 I didn't expect you to say that but a lot of people are trying the game for the first time and really enjoying it so I'm glad you are too and if it's any consolation my day one base on the earliest release of the game? It was really bad.
It was basically made of matchsticks and I had a handful of lambs for Pals which means all I had was wool, a broken axe, flat hair and no sense of direction. There were no tips and it hadn't really taken off on Steam. Anyone I asked said it was a cheap clone of Pokemon which I knew nothing about. But I saw Pals with guns so I instantly hit buy and had no regrets. My Dinos in Ark had been constantly dying to the jank or just broken A.I. I knew Pals with guns would at least have a chance. Oh and my first Ark base was a room with four walls and a roof. I felt safe until a couple of minutes later when a Dino smashed through the wall and I couldn't stop screaming because it was so unexpected. It's one of my favorite memories from that game, I learned to survive fast.
That's my first Ark base, it really was just as I said one room. Over time I upgraded, but most of the games I play involve building. It's like anything in life you improve over time. Or you get eaten by bigger Animals.
@ErrantRob There's a lot the game leaves out so hopefully some of it helps. definitely use the condenser too, you can get some really good strong Pals by squishing them into one. The Operating Table is great too for switching out traits/passives, I buy my traits (chips) with Bounty Tokens, you'll find a quest (it will be part of the story) that sends you to a Small Settlement. There's a soldier there who handles bounties, save your Tokens for those Traits. They aren't one time use, once bought you can apply them any Pal you want. Artisan is +50% Work Speed, one of the best. I put it on all of my worker Pals, production zooms along. Burly for Defense is great too and Ferocious for Attack, I put those on the Pals I bring into battles. It's worth collecting any eggs you find too, eventually you'll unlock an Incubator and I've pulled (hatched) Legandaries through there.
I probably should mention the books too. If you hit a roadblock with that Research Lab and don't have a Pal with the necessary worker level, you'll eventually find books like these. They allow you to raise those prerequisites like Kindling, Lumber, Cooking and so on. They are really rare drops at first but you'll definitely start to see them later into the game, usually Supply Drops and Dungeons. If a Pal won't finish the next Tier of Research, it's related to all of that.
@AhmadSumadi I think the look of the game makes it feel like its going to be easy but it definitely has challenging parts. Certain bosses can be frustrating but the attack patterns aren't too taxing to learn. Im enjoying the game overall and is definitely a challenging without being too difficult. Hope this helps
Split-screen Halo! One of the best games ever is still so wonderful to play, demonstrating just how brilliant and ahead of the curve it was in 2001. I particularly love how vibrant and colourful the new visuals are. 🥰 The music sounds the same, which is not a bad thing at all.
On handheld slowly continuing with Dragon Quest VII Reimagined on my Switch 2. I only played the 3DS one a few years ago, but am enjoying this remake a lot more. All the QoL changes make this considerably to play. The biggest improvement is being able to change jobs without physically trudging back to Alltrades Abbey. Battles are a lot smoother, too. It all flows a lot better thanks to the rejigged questline: it’s mostly the same, but snips here and there and a few changes to maps speed it up.
I’ve decided to go back and 100% Rage 2 after 7 years away from it, since I don’t have much else to play. I managed to get through the 2 expansion DLC’s easily enough but I now I’m working my way through Ultra Nightmare Mode. I’m definitely having fun with it and I’d forgotten how enjoyable the game is, but man there are some ridiculously difficult fights in this game on that mode! Stupid hard, really. Guess I need to take my own advice when I say,………. enjoy whatever you’re playing this weekend and no rage quitting! 😉😂
@iPaud I’ll likely give it a go. Though I wish I’d done so when it was on PS+ lol.
@old_gamer74 brilliant game
Finally wrapped up Death Stranding Director’s Cut after putting it down for a while. What a weird and wonderful game. Definitely worth sticking it out through all the package deliveries.
I'd like to play KCD1 but "Your playstation is too hot..."
Rotating between a few titles to see what sticks. Trails in the Sky FC, Raidou Remastered, Final Fantasy IV, and Tomb Raider 2013. We'll see.
Have a good weekend, everybody.
Playing the following:
Switch 2
Super Mario Odyssey
Super Meat Boy 3D
Resident Evil Requiem
PlayStation 5
Call of Duty Black Ops 7 Campaign (with multiplayer with the partner)
Finally finishing Spider-Man 2
Then finally finish Ragnarok
Was pleasantly surprised by Mortal Shell 2 beta dropping so I’ll be continuing with that for a few more hours, so far so good.
I'm going to be playing the Mortal Shell 2 Beta on both my Series X and on my Pro so as to unlock the skins, but also (obviously) see what the game is like. I loved the first game so I have high hopes for the sequel.
Once I am done with that (assuming the Beta is not huge) I will play a bit more Forza Horizon 6. I had intended it to be a filler game whilst I was waiting for Halo: Combat Evolved to come out, but find myself thoroughly enjoying it and unable to put it down. Halo will just have to wait.
Tomorrow, I am hoping to play a Master run in Gears 5 Horde. My mate isn't available today, so won't be playing it, which is a bit of a shock to the system!
Anyway, happy gaming everyone...
I can’t stop playing Splatoon Raiders! It’s just so much fun and addictive. I’m now level 25 and have started doing “spicy” raids now too.
Still playing AC Black Flag Resynced and docked. I was playing Halo campaign evolved, but when I loaded up the game yesterday it had lost my save progress and reverted me to a save from a few hours earlier 😡 and tbh I can’t be bothered to play through it again.
Street Fighter 6, WWE 2K26, Expedition 33, and Sonic Racing Cross Worlds
Halo: Campaign Evolved. I’m currently doing the prequel missions and they are great.
@AhmadSumadi Requiem is an amazing game in every sense of the word the story characters gameplay visuals world is top notch!
Definitely one of my favorites for this generation of console.
Halo: Campaign Evolved on PC and probably some Blops 2 multiplayer with my brother tonight.
I’m just going through my ps2 backlog again xD
I'm trying not to get suckered in by Tales of Berseria Remastered being on sale. In a bit of a gaming rut atm.
Might take the wife to see Spider-man today.
Have a good weekend all!
Dragon Warrior (NES) - Made it through the Swamp Cave onto a new continent. Back to grinding for XP/Gold!
Rayman Jungle Run (Windows Phone) - Enjoying my very breezy playthrough of this in between grinding in DW.
Hexic (Windows Phone) - Nearly done everything there is do here. Makes me a little sad though as I only have one or two more puzzle games left to do on my dying WP.
I'm getting close to the secret final boss in Splatoon Raiders. Having a blast with the game.
Tunic is life. I shouldn't have left it in my backlog for so long.
I've moved onto Tainted Grail: Fall of Avalon this week and it's great, even though the start can be tough.
It's obviously heavily inspired by Elder Scrolls and plays a lot like it. The writing has been good so far too!
Assassins Creed Blag Flag and Deshaattack
@Gremio108 such an underrated gem
Resident Evil 3 Remake for me, so far I am really enjoying it... Mostly because I adore Jill in all her forms.
@Decoy_Snake and @LN78 Dudes, I just bought Spider-Man 2. Started playing and realized I missed so much of the story so bought Spider-Man Remastered (both on sale!). Holy smokes, playing Remastered and can barely put it down. I'm not even a Spider-Man fan, but this is the most fun I've had in gaming for some time. Just an amazing game! Really positive message too. I guess I am a Spider-Man fan now.
@D6rkLordS6t6n I recently played all three of them back to back, each for the first time. I wasn't a fan either but by the time you reach the half-way point in Spiderman 2 it really starts to come alive. Miles Morales was really good too if you have room for more Spidermen, Miles himself was a such a good character.
Playing the rather wondrous The Adventures of Elliot, I haven't played anything like this before but I can definitely see more in my future. Pissing about with a few other things too, like Stick of Truth and Far Cry 3
Have a boss weekend all 👍
@Burnish1619 I can't stop playing it
@D6rkLordS6t6n Spider-Man PS4 (or Remastered) is the superior game. SM2 is still great and has it's moments but the first games just flows so well for an open world game.
@Mintie same about Jill, want her to return at some point would be great if she was the star of Requiems story DLC. I've played RE3 Remake so many times over the last 6 years and I still feel like it's unfairly treated, yeah it's missing stuff from the original but it's still a great time.
@AhmadSumadi been on my list for a while and on sale too. I just keep expecting it to join PS Plus Deluxe/Premium so haven't pulled the trigger. Maybe I just do it
What PS PLUS game has taken my fancy, well it's Assassin's Creed Mirage this week. Actually disliked it when first played but it's got some good stuff going on. Bagdad looks amazing.
@djlard mine turned itself off last week saying it's too hot. I decided to clean it out. Wasn't too difficult and was surprised how dusty it was inside. Not been on it much since but think it did the job
@Decoy_Snake it might be missing some stuff, like you said, but it doesn't feel incomplete either. I'm also glad that Nemy's spawns are planned rather than Mr. X just getting in the way all the time. It helps keep the game feeling snippy, like you should be rushing.
After the last animated film it felt like they were manoeuvring Jill back towards the limelight, my hope is she's in the next main title
Halo and mortal shell 2 beta demo good weekend if time permits lost judgement
@rusty82 Yeah... it's been year or two I didn't cleaned it. The other thing is there was over 31⁰C in the room (killing hot).
I'm restarting final fantasy 7 rebirth and having a proper sit down with it. Dread Delusion as well as Labyrinth of refrain.
The Last Salvage Squad and Kusan: City of Wolves. I also ordered an Anbernic RG35XX SP, so probably lots of GBA also.
Desperados 3.
Reminds me of times when as a teen I played Commandos 1/3 games, and first Desperados. And it is so great, highly recommend.
Greedfall and Wolfenstein Youngblood for me
I just started Astrobot an it’s fantastic!! Bought it for my kids on release an i never got round to playin it. Started it Friday an it’s fantastic! Also Ultimate Zombie Defence, currently my fav indie game.
Finished Call of Cthulhu and What remains of Edith Finch during the week on steamdeck so now decided to give Returnal (ps5) another try this weekend, so let's see.
Also helping out my kids with their playthrough in Darwin's paradox and Ratchet & Clank.
Have a great weekend and happy gaming, everyone!
Finally managed to platinum Hades II (after deleting it), thanks to sheer luck, as I expected. The last Chaos Trials are all about being lucky enough to get some decent gear.
But I just started Spider-man 2 and all I have to say is that y'all suck (jk). It's such an awesomely awesome game and I missed all the fun because of the negative comments I kept seeing about it. It's fun, it's funny, it's wholesome, it's everything I want from a game. Seriously don't get what everyone's issue was with it.
For me, at least, it's a vast superior experience to the first one.
(I'm up to the point I reunited with Harry and we went down memory lane)
Just purchased Doom Dark ages with DLC
For £32.99 on Pro.
What a game and now PSSR2 as well.
Me Bravia 9 is loving at.
@AI-Generation Where did you pick it up at that price? I'm waiting for decent sale and that price seems about right to me especially with the DLC.
@Fiendish-Beaver How did you like the beta? I didn’t play the first but was impressed with this and will almost definitely purchase the game. Finished everything in the beta in about five hours so nice little surprise for the weekend.
@Mostik
On PSN, of course digital.
It is on sale.
I've very much enjoyed it too, @whitejessegpfc. I am probably only an hour in though, so may have a while to go yet before finishing the beta. It does feel much like the original game (albeit it is a while since I have played it) so I am very happy, and will also be getting it on release.
Glad you enjoyed it too...
Mixing it up with some old school classics. Persona 3 Portable, Tomb Raider Anniversary (Vita) and Skate 3.
Grabbed the platinum on F1 manager 24 last night. Also continuing with Black Flag Resynced and starting my plat run on La Noire PS3. Grabbed the Rockstar pass off the PS3 store for all the associated dlc stuff for it as well. Oh and some shopping therapy today 😁

After beating the Horizon Zero Dawn remaster, I jumped right into Forbidden West. About to head for San Francisco. Death to Far Zenith.
Played a lot of The Alters. Made some choices I hadn’t before (including one that is the basis of the recently released DLC which I still haven’t jumped into yet). I got an ending which was interesting but really, really dark.
Played several rounds of Helldivers 2. The major order was won comfortably by the community because it was against the bugs (not the weakest or the strongest but the most popular enemy faction) and every Helldiver was given free access (meaning one didn’t have to use one of the four slots) to a powerful, popular weapon in napalm strikes.
I also started a turn based deck builder strategy game named Death Howl about a mother trying to reclaim her son from death. It is bleak and hard and doesn’t spend any time holding your hand but it has lovely art direction, offers a lot of freedom, rewards exploration and gives one a sense of steady progress (once you find your feet). I’m still very early in but so far so good.
Finally got the Cyberpunk platinum. Playing through Phantom Liberty now.
