Re: Poll: How Would You Rate The Last of Us - Episode 2?

Didn't stand out as much as the first episode. I don't know if it's because I already played the game to death, but there was a chance to flesh out Tess' character a bit more. I felt she got less screen time than in the game. Neither death hit me as hard as they did in the game.

And they could have done with fewer F-bombs. I can't believe I'm saying this, but the best moments came when Ellie was talking less. I frame froze the 2nd clicker, and the makeup was hilarious. She had nicely done hair for a clicker lol. The makeup looked plasticky and fake. It's a clicker, there doesn't need to be a symmetry in the pattern lol. In-game models look grotesquely scary in comparison, especially the remake. Makes me appreciate ND visual designers even more.

I'm being overly critical here. Overall a good episode with no new stuff outside the game, but high hopes for the next one. Nick Offerman is a helluva actor and from the teaser, looks like Bill is gonna get some deserved in-depth backstory.

Re: Game of the Year: Graham's Top 5 PS5, PS4 Games of 2020

My favourite so far. I just love the diversity and discovery of this list. There are so many amazing niche games that are neglected when compared to blockbusters. The fact is I've played all the games on this list (albeit on a PC) and have enjoyed them far more than those blockbusters. And to think these are just tip of the iceberg. Games like Hades, Risk of Rain 2, Dreamscaper would easily feature in my top 5 if they released on the PS. Sony really needs to get their stuff together in terms of indie promotions. Most have shifted over to the Switch due to this neglect. The only big release that was justified this year was Ghost of Tsushima.

Re: Cyberpunk 2077 (PS4) - The Potential of a Masterpiece, Totally and Utterly Unrealised

@Senchou412 I'm myself playing it on PC, and it's still buggy. Not as bad as the consoles have got, but it still hampers my experience. If a game crashes on a system, it's an issue with the software and not the hardware (until proven otherwise). Let's face it, CP2077 is in no place to blame the hardware for it's shortcomings. And please stop spreading all that master race cr@p. The master race might think too highly of their own, but the matter of fact is outside of their bubble no one gives a damn.

Since the 'Other' option doesn't work, pre-ordered and pre-loaded on my PC. Didn't get that 3080 for nothing. Hoping for 4K DLSS + RT at 60fps, but doesn't look like it will happen, not at least without a few patches.

Re: Sony Reiterates Ongoing Commitment to PS4, Like All Other PlayStation Consoles

Makes absolute sense. As long as the Switch is around, PS4 has every right to exist. With the base model still pushing 1080p in most games, there's still a lot of headroom to support the PS4. Apart from a few tech like RT, there isn't much the PS4 can't support. I believe PS4 will be a testing ground for Sony moving forward. Things like Gamepass like subscription, gearing it towards kids, selling it via subscriptions like Xbox All Access might be in the works.

I'm from India and have been following Ubisoft Pune for quite some time now. Almost all the recent mobile PoP games were done by them. I'm guessing the PoP franchise will be done by this specific studio. True that the graphics don't look up to the standards, but this is their first large scale project. And looking at their recent hiring spree, things should get better. All this needs to look better is a reduced colour range. Too dark in my opinion.

Re: Sony's PSVR Reveals This Week Aren't Proving Popular

No matter how much you guys try and sugarcoat it, Sony has been pushed up hard against the walls. The new Sony administration has been hopeless. All the hype that PS has been riding on was set in motion by their predecessors. Of course, first party is still top notch. But imagine what they could've done with the hardware and financial backing of current MS.

Re: Gotham Knights Is DC Comics' Response to Marvel's Avengers

This felt nothing like Avengers, where Iron Man flies at a grandpa's pace (really scared with how they'll handle Spidey). That being said, I'm not feeling much for this game either. And what can I say about my feelings for Suicide Squad. Let's just say Rocksteady have a big mountain to climb. Hope these games are somehow connected. That would be pretty dope.

Re: PS5 Moneyhat Speculation Rumbles On

Sony is buying timed exclusivity, while MS is buying games for us to play free. Personally, I'd much prefer the second option. But I'm seriously intrigued as to how mach is Sony putting into these timed exclusivity. I preferred their approach earlier during current gen, where they'd fund indie studios and publish their games (although alot of them multiplat). Does it cost less to moneyhat than to fund development? I'm intrigued.
