I forgot this game existed and to be honest, given Ubisoft's current pay to play mentality, anything coming from that company I will avoid like a plague.

@ArcadeHeroes because it's Square, the same company that thought it was a bright idea to focus on turning FF15 into a clothing brand for non gamers rather than actually giving FF15 a proper ending.

Funny part is they totally ignored how good Horizon's world design looks and given gameplay of Forspoken I seriously doubt the visuals will even compare to Forbidden West.

The problem isn't Days Gone or how much people paid for the game because it did sell well in the end. The problem is Jim Ryan and his outdated mentality on what games will sell or not.
No one asked for or wanted a remake of LoU, but we have that moron focusing on crap no one want while ignoring the issue that he is responsible for one Japan abandoning PS, and guess what happens when you no longer have Japanese devs supporting your platform you end up where the xbox one is, a stagnate cycle of games and a brainwashed fanbase that constantly buy the same crap over and over again.
At least Japanese devs still have Nintendo.

The only way Sony can get around this is by releasing an update that removes this feature entirely, if it's even possible that is, I'm not a programmer or technician so I wouldn't know.
Either way this is gonna hurt Sony in the long run, especially if the PS5 has an internal battery locked to trophies as well.
It's crap choices like this that's making people realize PC gaming is the only way to go today.

@Blacksmith1985 You are aware that the internal clock batteries can stop working for plenty of other reasons early in the consoles's life cycle and the PS5 could have an internal clock battery as well?
Imo this whole trophy thing was pointless to begin with and majority of people never cared about trophies anyway.
If it is possible to patch out the whole trophy thing entirely and allow the system to play games even if the internal battery goes bad I think that would solve all of this instantly.
This whole trophy system shouldn't have existed in the first place, it's only there for idiots with no real lives to stroke their own egos and brag about nothing anyway.

@AdamNovice I mean it's trash not because of the game but because of the lazy effort put into by Bandai Namco just to cash in.
The remaster could have been way better, all Bandai Namco had to do was at least hire a competent 3rd party, preferably Bluepoint, and implement the visual assets from DS3 into DS1re, it literally would have taken little effort to at least try to make the game look as close to DS3, but they didn't even bother to try and make the game look good, hence trash.
It took less effort for individual modders to make the game look better on PC, yet a big company like Bamco couldn't do the same with a full team?

The only hint this gives is that Bluepoint may be remaking a true Dark Souls remake given how illusory walls were first introduced in Dark Souls, not Demon Souls.
So if anything Bluepoint added that illusory wall as a hint to what they are working on next, which could be a Dark Souls Remake, not that trash remastered version BANDAI NAMCO shoved out the door as a cash grab.

It leads nowhere, that door was purposely placed there by the remake devs for no other reason aside from getting fans to think there is something special to unlock when in reality there's nothing.
Anyone trying to solve this obvious bait is just wasting their time, these type of games are always pulling crap like this.
From Software have not worked on this remake and Bluepoint did not add any new content.

If you go to Youtube's trending page and click on the gaming section of said page almost every video posted there is trash Fortnite videos... with maybe one or two minecraft videos, which also is another trash game.

@Akurusu pretty sure it would be a spider since Nerscylla has become a fan favorite along with having one of the best bows in the series.
Not gonna lie I did hope they would add a scorpion to the series for a while now, also the MH series is long over due for a new weapon type, preferably a giant boomerang similar to the one used by the player's prowler in GenU, or at the very least bring back the option to play as a prowler because that made series much more fun.
If they brought back the prowler system I would definitely main the prowler over the hunter.

@Flaming_Kaiser Take a look at the diverse monster in 4U and GenU then compare that list of monsters to the type of monsters in Iceborne.
If you leave out the alternate monsters, like deviants and sub species, the list becomes pretty small for Iceborne while the list for older gen is still pretty huge, and that's without the leviathan types altogether.
They could have at least added 1 new type like Tetsucabra or better yet Nerscylla, which would have fit in perfectly in the Rotten Vale.

Would have been a lot better if they added more variety, like the insect and arachnid monsters that everyone asked for.
They could have at least added the Neopteron, Temnoceran, Carapaceon, and Amphibian species of monsters, especially Nerscylla because going up against Nerscylla really made myself and many other players change our play style due to this monster being so fast and extremely agile.
Capcom screwed up by not adding more variety.
